RE the iCash Response: Yes, I have documented much more than $800 base amount per month in multiple payments, every 3-5 days, every week, for the last 3 months+ as I provided in my application and supporting emails. It still was not enough, apparently, even though I have been approved for loans before with the exact same info. I gave up and deleted my account. Due to the ridiculous nature of the reply from iCash, I've changed by rating from 2 stars to 1 star.

They are not capable of helping people who are contractors, have gig income or are self-employed and are still stuck in the 90's when everyone had 9-5's. I can show them bank statements showing regular income and they don't consider it to be valid income. They are not up to date with the modern world.

Inconsistent loan approvals and rejections; I was not able to secure a loan using the same credentials and info as a previous month where I was approved. This is because I am a contractor and they don't consider this "stable income" even though I net about the same amount every month. They can't seem to understand that gig income fluctuates and we don't get paid the same every week. I can show them bank statements and my business account showing multiple payments per month, they still don't consider this to be "regular income" which makes 0 sense.

They are stuck in the past, and their agents don't seem to understand how contracting works, as I have applied a few times now and every single time it's a problem even though I show proof of income and explain.

It was easy to apply for. They do instanments so u don't have to stress about paying it all at once.

Quick easy process, fast deposit into account payback amount simple and easy as well to re apply if need it .

It's great .The first loan was doesn't meet my request. The second was easy and at my request. It's good to have a place where you can borrow. Please consider customers request as they need help.keep the good work

The ease of application for loans and the trust they have in the applicant to honor the commitment. Intrest rates are reasonable. They are flexible in thier terms.

The application process is fast, straightforward, and easy. I’ll give iCash that. I also repaid my loans diligently for the last 12 months.

This will be the last dollar they ever make from me.

The biggest issue? SIX TIMES over the past year, they claimed I had “blocked” their emails. I use Microsoft Outlook. I don’t block emails. Instead of investigating the issue, they repeatedly blamed me. Their solution? Keep changing my email address. Imagine being told over and over that you’re the problem when you’ve done nothing wrong. Massive red flag.

Then there’s the inconsistency. I built a solid repayment history and was consistently approved for $800. Then, out of nowhere, my limit was cut to $400 with no meaningful explanation. As someone who’s worked in lending, I know payment history is supposed to matter. Apparently not here.

And here’s the final straw.

After 12 months of borrowing and repaying on time, I earned their Prestige membership. One of the advertised perks is the ability to request that a repayment be split into up to three payments. I wasn’t asking for special treatment—I simply asked to split my repayment into two payments so I could pay off the loan without immediately needing to borrow again.

They refused.

So what’s the point of advertising that benefit if loyal customers can’t actually use it when they need it? That was incredibly disappointing and made the “Prestige” status feel meaningless.

Customer service was equally frustrating. Every time I called about the email issue, getting a straight answer felt impossible. Instead of solving the problem, I got scripted responses, excuses, and finger-pointing.

My advice: don’t confuse convenience with loyalty. Payday lenders aren’t your financial partner. They’re a business. I got comfortable, and that’s on me. It took me 12 months to realize I’d rather fix my finances than keep paying companies like this.

Use them only if you truly have no other choice. And if you do, have an exit plan because your loyalty may not count for much.

Very user friendly and they treat the customers with respect and not like 'low lifes' like some companies.

This company takes forever to respond to applications, whether you're a new client or an existing one. They advertise that it's quick but it's not, not at all. So, if you're having an emergency or in a bind do not rely on them because you'll be waiting 3-6 hours or longer. I have been an existing customer of theirs for a while. Every time I make an application they ask me the same questions, ask me to provide the same documentation I already have and would be in their system. I don't think this company is any good in my opinion as an existing customer but that ends today.

EDIT: I did contact the resolution @ and spent an hour on the phone with some broken English woman stating she was a manager, while roosters crowed noisily in her background. I couldn't get her to understand how their system is flawed & a trap for loyal responsible customers.so here is the AI explanation for the "higher ups" who don't understand basic math.

Why This Logic Is Completely Flawed
In Canadian payday lending regulations (and iCash’s own policies), 62 days is the maximum legal length allowed for a short-term loan term.
iCash programmed their automated eligibility algorithm to look at your 3 consecutive loans as one single "sequence". The system requires that 3 consecutive loans must fit within a total 62-day window to unlock the 2-payment (Flexpay) option on the 3rd loan.
Here is where you got caught in their system trap:
Because you kept each loan for around a month (32 days for the first, 35 days for the second), your 2 completed loans combined to 67 days.
Add the start of your 3rd loan on July 29, and the system calculated 69 days total from May 22 to July 29.
Even though you paid off both previous loans in full and on time, the automated tool simply looked at May 22 to July 29 = 69 days, triggered an automatic "over 62 days" flag, and locked you out of the 2-payment option

The system is incorrectly counting the duration of my previous, fully paid loans against my eligibility for a new loan term.

I have been a loyal customer with iCash for 13 loans, always paying in full, and paying my loans early every single time. I've been wanting to reach their VIP cashback status. My income recently increased, so I applied for a $1,200 loan structured across 2 repayment terms.
Instead, which I had been approved for previously with lower income. their automated system capped my loan at $800 and defaulted it to a single repayment. When I reached out to customer support to ask why, I was told that to qualify for 2 repayment terms, your last 3 consecutive loans must span 62 days or fewer. Because my sequence spanned 69 days, I was disqualified.
The only reason my timeline was 69 days is because I always pay my loans off early.
By setting up their algorithm this way, iCash actively REWARDS customers for holding onto debt longer and PENALIZES responsible customers who pay early. Offering an early payment option while secretly using early payments to block customers from multi-term repayment options is completely UNETHICAL.
When customer support refused to fix this and hid behind automated system rules, I was forced to escalate to management. A financial platform should support responsible repayment habits, not penalize loyal customers for them. Rewarding people for holding onto debt longer while penalizing those who pay early isn't just a flawed system—it's completely unethical and GROSS, and consumers deserve to know that your system's rules actively discourage responsible repayment.A high-interest lender penalizing customers for paying off loans early is something everyone should be aware of. Whoever created this system needs to be fired, and someone needs to DEBUG this morally skewed "algorithmic" system. And fix the flaws. Their practice forces people to hold debt, longer, and to then take out more loans, thus making more interest, when they penalize people for paying early. This practice/policy forces people to withhold date, or risk being forced into 1 repayment, which they may not be able to afford with one paycheck, which would force them to take out more loans, and then iCash makes more money in interest. And no where in the MANDATORY contract does it state this!!! Lawsuit? Yes.
