Hvar Away provided us really perfect services literally during each our step: ferry, check in, locations to visit, restaurants, shops and so on. Very customers friendly company!

The road to La Villa Bleue is absolutely insane for sightseeing: slim roads, not a lot of cars, mountains, sea and so on.

And the house is very cozy: old outside and modern outside. We hade everything we need there: dishwashing machine, oven, fridge, conditioners and many other things.

Matt was waiting for us, showed the house and instructed about everything.

Elisha (co founder) was always online and supported us with additional information: shops, restocking, wineries and others.

I can’t really remember anything I didn’t like so La Villa Bleue is definitely recommended for anyone to visit!

We stayed in Villa bleue , it’s an amazing place , with stunning view to the sea.Villa bleue is a bit far away from everything, but that was what we really loved , and restaurants are around by car or better by boat . Elisha and Matt are the best hosts we ever had!! Every question or need was no problem , it was an from beginning to final experience , not only booking a villa, they really care about there guests ! Thank you both so much for this good time we had on Hvar .

Having carefully choose our 1 week stay on the island of Hvar, I am always anxious that the property booked lives up to expectations and when we arrived, it certainly did and much, much more.
We had an amazing stay at Luma Hvar. It's a beautiful property, first row from the sea, with all the amenities you can only wish for.
The setting is so beautiful with stunning views of the sea. The setting just encourages rest and relaxation.

Already the process of booking the property and first contact with Alisha was very easy and smooth. All details about the property and the island of Hvar were fully provided before our arrival and she also helped us with renting a boat for a day in a nearby village, from a company with good reputation, compatible prices and very well-maintained speed boats. It was one of the highlights of our stay in Croatia.

We've been coming to Croatia for years but have never rented a house which was so fully equipped. We were surprised by welcome package with local produce (eg wine, marmalade) and cold drinks in the fridge. There is nothing that has been missed.
The cleanliness and the presentation is both impressive and impeccable.

Would I recommend the stay at Luma Hvar? Of course, without any doubts. Highly recommend it. We cannot wait to visit again!

Perfect Stay at Casa Belinda.

We had the perfect stay at Casa Belinda, which we would recommend as strongly as possible without hesitation. We would highlight the following plus points in particular:
1) Hvar Away were a pleasure to deal with, with clear communication that was responsive and reassuring.
2) Although we didn't know when we booked, we would now rate Vrboska as the most charming place on the island. It is large enough to have plenty of choice in terms of restaurants etc. and a very handy local supermarket, but small enough to retain authentic charm and to never feel overrun by tourists. There are also great beaches and swimming spots that are walkable or a very short drive.
3) The location of Caba Belinda itself is brilliant. Out of the front door, turn right and in less than a minute one is at the harbour front, where all of the restaurants, shops can be found. For those that might be driving, there is always plenty of parking close to the Casa.
4) As for the property itself, that is also fantastic. The internal decor etc is of a very high standard and all of the equipment is modern. It is also spacious. We are a family of five with three mid/late teenage children and there was plenty of room for us. All of the main rooms also have aircon, which we used sparingly, having closed the shutters during the day. There is a lovely view of the harbour from the upstairs balcony and a spacious private, paved back garden where we had a BBQ a couple of nights.

All in all Hvar Away and Casa Belinda could not be faulted and also offered good value for money compared to other options on the island. We would love to return one day.

We had the most wonderful stay at Hvar Away. The home is in the most beautiful location with deepwater frontage so you can jump straight into the water. The accommodation was perfect for two families and everything was provided for. The place was extremely clean and Elisha was so helpful with organising anything extra we wanted to do during our stay. It was the most relaxing holiday I have ever had. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you!!

Hvar Away and Elisha specifically were a key part of making this trip amazing. I honestly cannot imagine what our trip would’ve been without her help.

The house itself we rented was gorgeous, clean, well equipped, and extremely private. We loved staying away from the main touristy areas while still having the option to go whenever we wanted. This felt luxurious and like we could approach the island in several different ways depending on what we felt like doing each day of our stay!

I would say just as important as the house was Elisha’s support and concierge throughout our whole trip. We found ourselves texting her daily for help with everything and quickly became our one stop contact for reservations, beaches, planning, etc. It seemed like she knew the owner of every restaurant on the island and made things possible even when locations were fully booked.

Elisha and Mat at Hvar Away did a fantastic job from start to finish. Elisha helped us with everything we needed from timetable to the ferry, bike rentals, taxi service and restaurant suggestions.
Elisha always responded very quickly and Matt came to the house to check on an electrical outlet in a second. I could not have asked for better service and I definitely recommend Hvar Away to anyone who is planning to spend their vacation on the beautiful and easy going island of Hvar.

Our stay at Vertigo Palace in Jelsa, Hvar was made absolutely extraordinary thanks to Elisha. She went above and beyond to ensure every moment of our trip was perfect.

Elisha was instrumental in crafting our itinerary, offering insightful recommendations on what activities to prioritize and which to skip, tailored perfectly to our group's preferences. We really had some unforgettable experiences.

What truly meant a lot was Elisha's attention to detail and unwavering support throughout our stay. Not only did she meticulously coordinate travel plans for 9 people arriving at different times with various needs, she made everything seamless for our group and was also incredibly responsive and helpful on a daily basis.

Before arriving in Hvar for our stay at Vertigo Palace, my fiance proposed to me in Dubrovnik before meeting with our friends in Hvar. In a heartfelt gesture that added an unforgettable touch to our trip, Elisha crafted extremely thoughtful gifts for us in our villa bedroom. This gesture was not something she had to do and it encapsulates her dedication to making our experience truly special and memorable.

Overall, Elisha's professionalism and personal touches made our stay at Vertigo Palace a week to remember. We cannot recommend her services highly enough and look forward to returning to Croatia, knowing that Elisha will ensure another exceptional experience. We traveled to many different locations in Croatia but Hvar was by far our favorite and mainly thanks to Hvar Away and their amazing customer service. First off Elisha was absolutely incredible to work with. She went above and beyond to ensure that my family and friends stay on Hvar was nothing short of amazing. She answered every email I sent prior to our trip promptly and with great detail, I could tell she was putting a lot of care and time in to her responses and recommendations. She helped to coordinate a boat day during our stay as well as many restaurant recommendations which were all fabulous. Alavia being our absolute favorite restaurant experience of the trip. Our time on Hvar island though short was made very special by all of Elisha's recommendations and attentiveness to making sure our stay was nothing short of perfection. Our stay in Vertigo palace was also a dream. It felt like the most incredible and unique hidden oasis right on the doorsteps of Jelsa. Elisha was a joy to work with! The booking process was made so easy and she helped arrange yoga mats and a massage table for our retreat, all was waiting for us upon arrival. The villa itself was a DREAM! The perfect place for a yoga retreat. Waking up to the birds, the magical courtyard, the quaint pools, and views from each bedroom were out of this world. Everything went perfectly… from being greeted with Matt’s big smile when we arrived right through to the end of our week in paradise. The house itself was just stunning… you cannot believe the location until you experience it. We have already booked another beachfront villa with Hvar Away for next summer! I am very happy with the works performed by Matt. I needed to renovate a wooden pergola in the garden and he showed some great professionalism: answered my request instantly, came to visit the house and made some constructive recommendations, sent me a quote, came on time on the agreed date, did all the works fast and left the place very clean.
It was a pleasure working with someone as professional and reliable.
We have already agreed on some plumbing works in the near future!

Everything about Matt screams “professional” and he clearly strives to offer an exceptionally high level of service to his customers. He visited our house to inspect our AC, gave us a detailed quotation, offered a prompt appointment to service and clean all units, arrived on time, did a thorough job and left a few hours later and you’d hardly know he had been there.
We would definitely recommend him!

Matt recently planned out and installed a pretty complex airconditioning system in our old stone house. We are delighted with the work. Neat with minimal disturbance, and he tidied and cleaned afterwards so there were no traces of the work. Highly recommended! Will use Matt and Hvaraway again!

Matt has visited our house twice this summer to carry out electrical work- installing new sockets, lights, and solving some problems that a previous electrician caused. Ultra reliable. Can’t recommend highly enough.
