Huina Construction Toys Omdömen 

Ordered the dinosaur truck over a week ago, no update on shipping yet.
I see some people receive their items within 2 days.
I have e mailed but no reply.

I had placed an order for a Huina 1583 Metal Loader and received the wrong item, a Dumptruck. I was offered a big discount on the Dumptruck if I kept it and they would send the Loader or I could return the dumptruck and they would send the correct one.

I emailed the company and my issue was resolved within a few hours by CEO Rodney Aubyn.

In the end, I kept both RC vehicles because i knew i was going to buy it at Xmas anyways and enjoyed the discounted price of the 2nd RC vehicle.

I received the first package within 2 days (local warehouse).
I received my replacement within 2 days (local warehouse).
Items were new in box and properly packaged.

I will order again directly from Huina, overall it was a good experience and the RC Metal Loader and Dumptruck are beautiful vehicles.

Nice toys. Issue with delivery were quickly resolved to my satisfaction. Looking forward to buy more Huina Toys.

The flat bed trailer was damaged on arrival, I tried numerous times to contact them to have replaced. No one seems to care.

I purchased the Huina 1582 dump truck for my son to complement his backyard "construction site" after first buying him the 1580 excavator. My early reaction to the 1580 was quite positive, however I have since encountered some reliability/durability issues which have disappointed me (snapped output shaft on one of the track sprockets, and stripped screws falling out of the slewing gear assembly leading to a wobbly/clicking turntable. It took almost a month of back and forth emails to get a replacement part sent from the factory, followed by significant and non-trivial surgery on the unit to exchange the part in question).

Anyway, with regard to the 1582 dump truck itself, the unit does appear to be quite stout and solidly built, so I'm hopeful I won't experience the same fragility issues that I had with the 1580. That said, if the intention is to use the truck outside in a sandbox/dirt environment, I regret to say that I can't honestly give it a passing grade. With the low ground clearance of the front bumper, nose-heavy weight distribution and negligible traction of the drive wheels, most of your child's time will be spent lifting or pushing the truck manually to get it unstuck from the ruts it constantly digs itself into. This situation is particularly bad on loosely packed surfaces when the truck's bed is empty. To reduce my son's frustration with the toy getting stuck, we ended up creating a "road" out of bricks and boards so the truck could actually move around. Knobbier or wider tires might help the situation, as would shifting the weight distribution off the front tires.

If the product folks at Huina are listening, here are some additional suggestions for how to improve the inevitable next generation of the product:

1) Stronger centering springs on the remote control's joysticks. The dump bed is controlled via vertical deflection of the right joystick. The same joystick is used for steering along its horizontal axis. Because the springs that centre the joystick are so "soft", it means that frequently when turning the truck right or left you'll inadvertently trigger the bed mechanism. With a more pronounced "feel" from the joystick, this could be avoided (incidentally, I had the same complaint regarding the 1580 excavator controls). I think stronger springs would also help the operator better modulate the truck's proportional speed -- my son just seems to toggle between full forward and full reverse.

2) Make the bed raise/lower controls unidirectional only (up joystick = raise the bed, and down joystick = lower the bed). The current design will continuously cycle up/down after reaching the limits, irrespective of the joystick position. I think it would be far preferable to have the bed come to a full stop automatically at it's upper/lower limits even if the joystick is held in position.

3) Give it a tighter turning radius. The current design has a very subtle left/right wheel deflection, so any tight corners need a *lot* of multi-point turns.

4) Add a proper suspension to the wheels. This might help with the traction and cornering ability, as now whenever the truck is on uneven ground, one or more of the wheels tends to be lifted off the surface.

5) I realize it would dramatically impact the complexity/cost of the toy, but powering the front wheels along with the two rear axles would significantly help with traction.

6) A minor point, but when the lights are activated via the remote, the running lights (rear markers and headlights) should stay lit -- today they are only lit if the truck is moving.

7) The remote control seems unnecessarily enormous -- despite the fact there are relatively few actual controls on it (the little black "trim" switches on the surface are non-functional). My 6yo struggles to hold/use it. It's almost twice the size of the 1580's remote!

I am very impressed with the power of the 1583 wheel loader. I still can’t believe the weight of the machine. It is deceivingly heavy, which is a good thing! Overall, very happy with this purchase. It’s exactly what I hoped it would be.

Jason from Customer service made me change my mind and go with another company. I ordered a front loader to see how huina was before dropping big money on a fleet of rc construction pieces.and this was my first rc construction purchase and as much money thats involved I want a good relationship with the company I spend money with..oh and the loader is half plastic and toy grade and lacking power..read reviews and watch videos of this model and form your own opinion..kids would love it though.
