HSL Chairs - Southampton Omdömen 

From start to finish was perfect. Showed our two choices, in our house. Not pushy at all.
Delivered and installed on time.
There was a tiny snag on the material of the arm of one of the sofas. Sent us a technician who somehow majically made it disappear.
Sofas and chair very supportive and comfy, unlike the ones we bought at John Lewis which ended up in the rubbish tip after two years.
Can not fault the service

The service received from Germaine during our recent visit to the Hedge End Southampton store was second to none, it was so refreshing to have such a professional, knowledgeable and friendly advisor who gave us her undivided attention without any sense of haste or pressurisation. She made us really feel at home. We now look forward to receiving the chair which we know is going to be the perfect comfortable fit for Mum to relax in.

We visited the Hedge End Southampton store today and had excellent knowledgeable and friendly service from all the staff but particularly from Germaine who served us.

We had a very warm welcome from Brian, who immediately recognised which chair I wanted from our description. I tried it and it fitted me perfectly. He went through all the chair's features and spent time explaining everything thoroughly. After we said we'd buy it there was then some computer stuff to deal with. We were given a cup of coffee and some very nice biscuits, twice, because the computer system was struggling. All in all a great experience and I'm very much looking forward to sitting in my chair!

We visited HSL Hedge End to look for an adjustable bed for my mum. This review is based on our experience on the day and not on the sleep experience of the bed as it hasn't arrived yet - although it felt incredible testing it on the day!

Maria and Jason guided us to through the various options and gave us thorough information about the the design & benefits of the hypnos pillow top mattress. Jason has clearly had a lot of experience in this area and was able to explain how the various components, including the mattress protector, work to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter.

There was no rush or pressure to make a decision on the day. My mum was able to sit up in the bed for about 20 minutes and we were even brought tea and biscuits! She then tried lying down on either side for a good 5 minutes on each side to see how it felt.

The staff are not commission based so you don't get any "hard sell". They are clearly interested in providing what you need without up selling unnecessary extras.

We would highly recommend this store for their professionalism and knowledge.

Terrible service terrible fabrics stains that can’t be removed or replaced at a cost to the customer the company is not recommended

The personalised service which Brian at the Hedge End branch gave was exemplary. He listened to our needs and demonstrated appropriate chairs which would support. He was knowledgeable about occupational therapy. HSL not only has a comprehensive range of chairs designed to meet clients’ different heights and frames but can provide chairs to meet the needs of different medical conditions. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Customer service was great. From the moment stepped in the store and stated I wanted a riser recliner chair for my 4,ft 10", 90+ old - the customer service was impeccable. My mother in law was shown 3 chairs to try with the first one being her choice. Fit her like a glove. No more cushions to sit on or pillows behind her back to prop her forwards.
Simple control system and even with her memory issues manages this. Plus on / off switch on controls if required. Delivered within 3 working days.

Visited Hedge End branch with Mum, who was very apprehensive about buying a riser recliner chair. Lydia quickly put her at ease , expertly assessed correct size of chair and guided us through various options. We went back 2 weeks later after ‘thinking about it’ , no rushing us, not even when Mum changed her mind on colours!
The time spent, the refreshments offered, the patience and experience shown was wonderful. Mum received her new chair and sofa today and is absolutely delighted with it. The delivery and set up was was also very professional and completed cheerfully.

Welcoming staff who were interested in providing us with the most suitable sofas for our needs, without pressure to select and buy as staff were not on a commission basis and were all occupational therapy trained. And the offer of coffee and biscuits on all three occasions we visited.

Staff in the shop were helpful knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. There was no hard sell.
We opted for express delivery and the goods arrived in 3 days at a small extra cost.
Delivery was excellent. The team moved the old chairs to the garage for future collection and set up and demonstrated the new chairs.
The store gave us several businesses that would collect the old chairs and we opted for Just Junk which incurred a fee. Having said that the guy who collected the chairs gave great service.
The new chairs are very comfortable and meet our current needs.

We were helped by Maria who was very knowledgeable about the HSL product. She explained about having the right fit for each person. ie my husband needed the grande chair where i needed the petite size. It was also beneficial to know that the different sizes would help with support for our backs. Would highly recommend HSL.

We were very impressed with the service from everyone involved with our chair purchase at the Southampton (Hedge
End ) branch. Everything was explained to us in a clear, concise and friendly manner demonstrating thorough knowledge of the product. At no time were we put under pressure to make a purchase. We were given samples of fabric to bring home to colour match with our furnishings and we returned the next day to buy the chair. My husband is looking forward to its arrival. We highly recommend HSL

Had our two Stressless swivel recliner chairs delivered yesterday, what can I say expect excellent. The drivers Armani & Raymond were so courteous and helpful, and very professional a credit to the company.

The communication was excellent surrounding our delivery date and times and notice of 30 minutes on the day. Armani and Raymond were polite, efficient and helpful in positioning the furniture and demonstrating how it functioned.

Thank you so much to Armani and Raymond for delivering furniture to the Mothership! Lovely, kind and respectful. Explained patiently the controls for the "tip you out" chair and ensured mum was happy with position of furniture before they left.
