Have used this company for accommodation in Portugal and Italy and been very pleased with the quality of accommodation and excellent support throughout the booking and handover processes.

Aftering having spoken with the host of the appartment I found out that the appartement description was misleading and innacurate. When I informed HouseTrip about this, 3 days before my arrival, I didn't receive any feedback except for an email informing me that my remarks were taken into consideration.

House trip made it easy to book our accommodation in Venice and we will continue to use it in the future.

Loved the online photos & easy to compare rentals. We had seamless check in & check out process with each host. Great value. Especially liked the mapping feature and ability to ask questions of the hosts as well as save favorites as I was shopping for each rental. Would recommend without hesitation.

The apartment was very spacious and the host was very quick to respond to our requests!!
It was within easy walking distance to the Champs Elysees and great amenities around the apartment.
Would suggest some information in the apartment for tourists who have not been to Paris before (eg map)

Easy stress-free Amsterdam city break for one week. Houseboat was better than described as you couldn't capture the restful quality of the boats location in the posting. You live in a residential tree lined street surrounded by still water and just no city noise at all. Quiet peaceful and just the location to recharge.

This is the second time that we have booked an apartment with HouseTrip. Both experiences have been excellent and we would definitely recommend HouseTrip to our friends and family.

Never come across this site before but it was everything it said it was and the accommodation we booked was great. Would use it again.

I have used this website on two occasions to hire apartments which are often good value (some but by no means all) and offer great locations. They are generally not over-hyped and tend to accurately reflect what you get. Your money is safe as it is not released until the day after you arrive. Recommended.
My main criticism is the same as many other rental sites, however, which is that if renters are going to charge a "cleaning fee" then stop advertisng a misleading rental cost and add it into the cost of the rental because (a) that is the true cost and (b) I am not going to rent from people who add cleaning fees.
ADDENDUM - This site was taken over by Trip Advisor and the prices went up and all the disadvantages of the normal sites were added.Now the same as Holiday Lettings.

Excellent all round. We would definitely return and would highly recommend. Just a couple of negatives was that you have to collect your apartment keys from the new town, where as it would have been better if there was a pick up nearer the apartment or if the keys could be left in a key safe outside the apartment which had a pass number you could use. Also we paid for a parking space which was a good 10/15 minute walk away - it was secure parking and I know parking spaces are hard to come by so I guess this is a very minor criticism.

Ensure that you doible check that your affiliates have informed Host.

Good host and good conditions re unit.

This was my first time using this site and I can honestly say it could not have gone more smoothly. The accommodation was exactly as described on the website. Communication with the host was smooth and prompt and the emails from the website were timely without being excessive.
