I bought 2 windows for my new timber…
I bought 2 windows for my new timber frame workshop - a great product and easy to install. Windows are separate from the frame so nothing is heavy or unwieldy. Also liked the little touch on my address -House of Miller. There is a knack of installing the internal glazing bars but once we worked out how to do it the rest just snapped in. The installation kits are worth having - one will easily do two windows.

Replacement upvc window
We ordered a made to measure upvc window. I was asked to double check our measurements which was great. The window arrived about a week later and was installed a couple of weeks ago. It looks great - very happy with the quality and the service provided.

Great DIY design website
Brilliant website that enables you to easily design your own windows without any salesmen pressures. Great telephone customer service too. Lead times are good and they keep you well informed of the manufacturing schedules and delivery times. I've used them three times now for my clients and I'm based in Kent!

The Liniar glazing platforms are not supplied as standard as the vast majority of our items go out to the trade and they tend to have their own preferences.
Any universal frame packers will work perfectly fine in their place. I do hope that this information is useful, should you wish to order in the future.

Old-fashioned window profile design disappointment
The window that I received has a Victorian-style beading design around the frame and opening window, making the whole thing look very old-fashioned in my opinion. After further investigation, the manufacturer (Liniar) does actually offer a flat beading, which looks infinitely more modern. The seller's website design/order page does not give it as an option (but you 'can' order it), and the description states 'modern aesthetics' not Victorian. This is not apparent from the website. Even the very nice customer services chap had the flat beaded option fitted to his own house (he send me a pic to illustrate the differences)! Extremely disappointed - I think they should have given me the option, and it is not made crystal clear on their website, so I blame them for this mistake. After contacting HoW, they told me that the Victorian design is standard, and the flat design is optional (but to reiterate - they did not offer the flat option).

We are sorry to hear that the standard sculptured beading profile was not to your personal aesthetic preference and that you were disappointed with the look of the window upon arrival.
To clarify, the sculptured beading design is indeed the standard profile supplied for our window system, and this is the profile shown in the primary product images and specifications on our website.
You are correct that the manufacturer, Liniar, does offer the chamfered profile. While the chamfered profile is available as an option for certain window specifications, it was unfortunately not available for the specific colour of profile that you ordered. This is why it was not presented as an option during your ordering process.
We regret that the limitations based on the profile colour meant we could not supply the chamfered design in your case, and that the standard design did not meet your expectations.
