Great Irish brand with cool mythological designs rare Irish gold. The prices on the website are often lower than the resellers too. I hope they continue expanding their collections.

Price too expensive compared to other retailers.
This is the official site and the makers of the Jewellery, hence I wanted to buy directly from the source in order to support the company and also assumed that this would be the best price. 2 weeks after purchase I found the same product for around 35% less (from 216€ that I paid down to around 140€) at a reputable jewller/retailer website. Very dissapointing.

Hi Andy,
Thank you for getting in touch, and I’m sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the price of your recent purchase.
House of Lor Jewellery is crafted using sterling silver and rare Irish gold, which is sourced locally and carries a premium due to its uniqueness and limited availability. The brand also provides a recommended retail price (RRP) to all stockists to reflect the quality of the materials and craftsmanship involved in each piece.
At times, some retailers may choose to reduce their prices if they are running a sale or clearing limited stock to make room for new collections, which can occasionally lead to price differences between stores.
I do understand how this can be frustrating, and I appreciate you taking the time to share your concerns with us.
Kind regards
Vicki
Prompt response to my questions.
Simple question about chain sizes was answered quickly and positively. They gave the impression that they cared about my potential purchase.

Never forget when you have come from
They are jewellers, and they are jewellers ,
where can you go to find so much history about something that’s is precious and beautiful, to give as a gift or for yourself .
i intend to buy from House Of Lor
i’ve been all evening reading the history, even though i am born in Ireland and live in Ireland i didnt know what the House Of Lor had to offer
i have 3 daughters i want to buy a real true meaningful gift , so when my day comes it will be even more meaningful to my daughters and to pass on the story’s to there children, this is what it’s about . You wear a lovely necklace and that necklace has a story behind it , or a necklace that means nothing. I know which i would wear , a talking historical necklace
The website is amazing well done to whoever did it and the history It’s all about Ireland , if your Irish we all should be supporting House Of Lor

What would have made this 5 stars is there is not a paper of stamp of approval. Also, no information about the jewelry. Just here you are.

I had a mixed experience with House of Lor. The jewellery is undeniably beautiful and feels high-quality, and delivery was prompt. However, the online ordering process could be smoother, and I didn’t receive a confirmation email for my purchase, which would have given me peace of mind. Additionally, unexpected fees like a handling charge from UPS made the overall cost higher than anticipated. While the service was good, there’s room for improvement in transparency and user experience.

Hi Ralf thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am disappointed your experience with us was not satisfactory. We do issue confirmation emails upon receiving an order. Depending on the customer's email setup they can sometimes appear in Spam or Junk email folders. There should not have been a handling charge from UPS. I am going to investigate this on your behalf. Please could you send me the details and invoice to vicki.pillow@tjh.ie and I will reply to your email. Thank you.

Just got my rose gold heart Claddagh ring for Christmas. After our wonderful trip to Ireland last summer, I was looking for a Claddagh ring that represents Irish culture, but I wanted it with a modern twist. I just found the perfect one! It looks perfect! Just delighted with it! I would recommend House of Lor.

Online fraud???
The address provided D12YE39, Knockmitten Lane, Business Park 10 is NOT genuine and therefore the opening times 8-5 Monday to Friday +the repair service is also fake , not real .
The phone number provided 014507742 is only for show , no answer.
Furthermore if one press the red phone sign a DIFFERENT number is automatically dialled every time:(
If such basic, elementary info is all bogus how can anyone trust anything else they claim on their fancy page? Irish mined gold much......
Luxurious brand without a reliable customer service base.

Hi Gina
Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. We take all feedback seriously and would like to address your points directly, as accuracy and transparency are values we deeply uphold.
Firstly, the address you mentioned—D12YE39, Knockmitten Lane, Knockmitten Business Park — is indeed genuine and accurate. This is our operational and registered business address, fully compliant with all business and postal requirements. If you encountered difficulties locating us, we would be more than happy to assist with additional directions or clarify any misunderstandings.
Secondly, the phone number 01-450-7742 you referenced is incorrect. Our telephone number is 01-4762112 and is stated on our Website. It is operational during our stated business hours (8 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday). We apologise if you experienced difficulty reaching us. Sometimes, high call volumes or technical issues may result in delays, but we always aim to respond quickly. The “red phone sign” you refer to is not something I am aware of nor is it a feature we provide for users.
Regarding the claims that our repair service is fake and Irish-mined gold is “not real,” we assure you that these accusations are entirely false. Our Jewellery is crafted using genuine Irish gold, sourced responsibly from the Galantas mine. This is a core part of our brand’s authenticity and heritage, and we stand by it with complete integrity. Additionally, our repair service is both legitimate and reliable, with skilled artisans ensuring the highest standards of care for all items. It is only available to customers who purchase from us and require that service. We do not operate a public repair service and make no reference to it as a public service anywhere on our website.
We are committed to providing excellent customer service and regret if you felt let down. Your concerns are being taken seriously, and we invite you to contact us directly at info@houseoflor.com so we can assist you further.
At House of Lor, we pride ourselves on offering luxurious, authentic products. While your review contains inaccuracies, we are using it as an opportunity to improve and ensure all future customer experiences are seamless and satisfying.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
