Canadians pls be careful as they try to give the rates in CDN dollars but you get charged US dollars. The confirmation only showed on my phone for one day. When I tried to print it from my desktop it was nowhere to be found. I checked my bin and spam and it was not there at all.
Someone needs to take this to the media and expose these guys.

If I could give them a 0, I would. This company is a scam. I never saw their website because they assisted me over the phone. I asked them if there were any additional charges and they said no. I asked them if we would be able to cancel if we did not want to stay there and they said yes. They completely lied. The room they booked for me was a smoking room when I requested non-smoking. The hotel did not have a non smoking room available so we went somewhere else. Red Roof Inn even submitted a request for me to cancel the reservation. I tried to cancel the reservation with them only 10 minutes after placing it and they laughed and said, sorry no refunds. Nice company. There is plenty of evidence that I tried to cancel the reservation. Red Roof Inn felt bad for the hassle I was having over the phone. My phone records would show me calling them back 10 min after booking. I could not have clicked agreed because I was not on the website, I was on the phone driving. They were so dishonest, it's shameful. The Williamsons

If I could give it Zero I would. The biggest scam out there. I made a reservations but had the incorrect dates and cancelled it within an hour only to find out it was non refundable. They have scammed me for $500.00. My credit card erased the Charge but Hotel reservations fought it and recharged me the $500 and sent in supporting documentation. Their claim is - regardless that I cancelled it immediately it was non refundable.
Who does that? Hotel Reservations.com does. Don't book anything on this website.

My rooms were supposed to be $120 each for 2 nights. Total of bill was supposed to be $273.01, checked my credit card and they charged me $379.32. Rating should be 0. Rip off. Will never book with this company again!

Gave it one star only because it wouldn't allow zero stars. I booked a hotel in Sacramento Califorina. When I got there it was under construction, dust EVERYWHERE, dirty and in horrible condition. They would NOT refund my money. I had to pay extra for another hotel. I will NEVER use them again.

I was lied to about the rate of my room, I was told it was $230/night, I told the gentelman I would look elsewhere, he said he would give me a rate of $200/night, I said, OK. I checked online the next day and I was charged $230/night for each rooms[2], I called and cancelled, they refunded my money except for $14.99/room. I called to complain and they said it was a fee for making the reservation and was non-refundable, these people are crooks! I will never, ever use hotel reservations.com or the Hlilday Inn associated with them. I was unable to call the Holiday Inn directly I had to go thru hotel reservations.com or I would've never used them.

I used this company bc their ad was first in my google search. Big mistake!!! I booked a reservation a few days ago and we decided to cancel it. They won't refund it even though it's over a month away. Crooks!

This is a total ripoff. You can't reach anyone to cancel a reservation. I didn't get a confirmation email. I thought I was on the hotel website but they are encroaching on the hotel website to get people to use their service. Then charge you to use it. Ruin my vacation.....

Made us think we were talking directly to hotel. Never mention their real name. Never received a confirmation to email we gave them. Over charged from regular hotel rate plus extra $15 on credit card. Never had a phone number to complain to until we received our credit card statement. What a joke. Real scammers. So sad for older people. Shame, shame.

Booked at wrong hotel! Service charge added to booking that we were not aware of! Wouldn't refund our money even tho they made the mistake!!! Never deal with them again..

Booked online and was charged twice. Had to call to get it changed. Took forever. Was told over and over that it wasn't woking and the girl couldn't change it. I suspect she was waiting for me to give up and just pay it. Had to call the hotel to confirm I was only being charged once. When the credit card bill came in it had been converted to US funds. I was never told it would be in US$. I am in Canada booking a hotel in Britain. Why would I ever have agreed to pay $800 more?! They are misleading and dishonest. They claim they can't reimburse you and there is no one for you to call, email or write to to complain.

I just got ripped off by Reservations.com. They charged me 3x for one room. Luckily the attendant at the hotel let me know there was an extra reservation. When I called they had charged me for 3, one that was 4x the cost of the room. I was on the phone for 1 hour trying to get my refund. I was given several confirmation numbers and assured my credit card would be refunded in 7-10 days. A month + later the charges (all 3) are on my credit card bill and reservations.com Yvonne employee #58234 tells me they credited my account for the expensive xtra charge and have no record of the other. I am floored! Never again!

Don't not use this company. I booked a two night ocean front view in ormond beach Florida. Never sent me a confirmation so I called. Hotel told me name was spelled wrong and I had to call them. Hotel also told me I had a partial view on side of building. Not what I paid $235 a night for. Called hotel reservations .come on phone for 45 minutes and the girl never picked the phone back up. Called back again and different girl said SORRY nothing I can do for you and I could not get my money back. Worst company I every deaLtd with in 30 years traveling. BEWARE !!!

I booked 2 hotel rooms in Canada through this website for the listed price of $179. My final bill on my Visa statement was $497! The listed price you will see on the site is in US$. I thought it was in Canadian $. There is no option to change the prices in another currency and it does not tell you you are looking at US$. The exchange rate was close to 1.4 and they added an extra hotel fee charge. When I tried to call, the answering service stated to call back again and disconnected me. I feel utterly and completely powerless and, without a doubt, defrauded. You will never ever see me on this fraudulent website again.

They posed as Palm Garden Resort and overcharged me by $40 per night. Please do not use this site ever

Booked wrong hotel, charged $62 over reservation, never sent email confirmation, could not be reached to resolve, contact had little command of the English language, hotel refused to give me a receipt.
Fortunately, I have USAA bank so they reversed the charges...now they can chase me down to collect the right charges. USE this site at great risk!

When I asked about extra fees and cancellation policy they just lied and said there were none and then I found three different added charges after I made a reservation. Don't be a sucker. Stay away from them. They don't even identify themselves when they answer the phone.

Ive never had such a bad experience in my life. I booked a hotel through this for a conference 6 months in advance. 1) They did not clearly state there was a 14$ charge to make a reservation; 2) They stated that one night fee would be held in case of cancelation yet charged me for the entire 6 night stay; 3) did not send me an email confirmation; 4) have a 1800 number in which we were on hold for 30 min in order to cancel, which was made more complicated by no email; and 5) would not refund the ridiculous 14$ fee they charge for their horrible service. DO NOT USE THIS SITE>

We booked through HotelReservations.com in late July, 2016. The Crown Choice Inn and Suites in Makinaw City, MI looked clean and new from the website pictures. $488 for two nights stay. Thought we could expect a decent hotel at that price. To our surprise the hotel was a complete disaster when we arrived. Dirty, messy, horrible odors, hairs in bathtub, blood spots on sheets, trash littered hallways, and the list goes on. Even though we agreed we could not cancel after booking, it's still not right to for a hotel to deceive people and not issue any refund. I spoke with the hotel management and they would not refund any of the money. I even asked for just one day back and they said it was too late. My family and I left after only 4 hours because it was basically ruining our vacation. Hotelreservations.com said they couldn't do anything about it. They said because the room was available at the time we booked that there was nothing they could do. So, if you book a hotel room that is literally a sh*thole, don't expect them to help out in the end. We disputed the transaction with Discover too. I took about 10 photos of the place. They couldn't refund the money because I went through a broker (HotelResrvations.com). So, in the end, HotelReservations.com got their money and so did the hotel and I can do nothing about it. I would suggest booking directly through the hotel and read reviews before booking.Also, we have never left a hotel in our entire life. We stayed in 5 different hotels just this week alone with no issues with other hotels.

Like others here my intention was to go to the hotels website and make a reservation. I clicked thru the reservation process and after entering my credit card info and locking it in a note appeared that indicated my charge was $15 more than it should have been. When I finally figured out I had been duped into thinking I was on the hotels website i called Reservation.com. I was mad enough to work around their phone tree, get a real person that spoke poor English and demand my $15 back. She told me it would take 10 to 12 days to process the refund but at least I had made progress. Until the next day when I received an email noting I would not get a refund. I need to be smarter in the future but these people are a rip off.
