Called in to book a room at The Ritz Carlton, Philadelphia, PA and I get a text that night saying we are booked at The Roadway Inn, Philadelphia. Called them and were told that reservation was non-refundable. I was billed almost $700. What a scam!

Vi gik på deres app og skulle bestille en overnatning. Ved en fejl kom vi til at bestille et forkert hotel, og fik hurtigt bestilt det rigtige.
5 min. efter ringede vi til Hotel.Com og fortalte om fejlen.
Svaret vi fik, var at “bordet fanger” og vi skulle betale for begge resevationer.
Til trods for at vi ringede få min. efter, så var de ikke villige til at fjerne den ene bestilling... Så det blev dyrt at bestille igennem dem.

Jeg vil klart anbefale andre at kontakte hotel direkte, da Hotel.com ikke er service, men udelukkende kold business.

Vi bruger aldrig dem igen..

thought I had cancelled my reservation on their website only to find out later it was not cancelled. They referred us to hotel to try to cancel
remaining nights and hotel told us they could not do it since it was a block reservation made by reservations.com. Catch 22. Conveniently on their part, I never did receive a confirmation of my cancellation. Disputing with my CC company but will likely loose since they have paperwork on my original reservation. Expedia should be ashamed to have a subsidary sham company.

They lost my original reservation , left me stranded with no where to sleep. They made another reservation and charged me $220 for a room that cost $109 per night. Called with no apology or excuse , they knew they had me in a bad spot and took advantage of the situation.

Its unbelievable that people really can get away with running a company that has the single aim only to scam people. They make no reference to the taxes etc that they are going to charge when you press reserve, but once you press reserve then you know you have been had. Every good review is fake, just like the prices they offer, they are all fake. AVOID THIS WEBSITE AT ALL COSTS.

A company to avoid. Be very careful, I thought I was booking directly with the hotel, but I was not. Their practices are deceptive. Additional unexplained charge has appeared on my credit card...

We thought we were booking with the hotel. It was not. You get a low rate and are not told clearly or signposted any where that there will be a doubling of costs. The 'fully refundable' rate is only for the price you originally agreed to pay and this company then fraudulently keep the charges they did not explain to you. We received confirmation that we had paid, in full, in advance. When we arrived there was a booking in our name but the hotel said there was no prepayment and we owed £240, which was representative of no numbers on the original invoice.

We are checked in and luckily the hotel is trying to sort it out for us. Hopefully we won't have to pay the further money. Hotel Reservations have not responded to any emails and the phone numbers don't work.

Feel duped and very stupid. Do not use this company!

My wife paid 139.00 for a room was billed an additional 14.99 I guess for their expert assistance in this. Got to the hotel. No reservation under my name. No reservations under my wife's name. I had to rent a separate room from the hotel I paid them to rent a room from for me. Got home called to get my 150.00 dollars back on my card. Apparently they had my name right to take money from my credit card but misspelled my name for the reservation. They advised I was a no show under the wrong name that they placed the reservation under. Even after I sent them a copy of my receipt where I had to rent a separate room at that location and date 2 weeks later they still refuse to pay me back the 150.00 dollars they took for nothing except 2 weeks of stress. This company is a rip off. They tell you to wait 7-10 days while they investigate even after I sent them all the copies of the info,showing it was their mistake. Do not do any business with these incompetent crooks. Take 10,minutes and reserve youre own room. Much easier and less stressful.

Please do not go through them. Horrible service. Hidden Fees and then lousy service!

E' un'agenzia di intermediazione tra hotels e cliente ma la dicitura Hotel Reservation può trarre in inganno come è successo a me. La procedura era abbastanza semplice ma non mi è stato chiaro non si trattasse dell'hotel con cui ero in contatto. Ho accettato così una proposta che non desideravo. L'hotel stesso mi ha avvisato dell'errore ed ho subito reclamato ma il pagamento era già partito e non ho potuto più.annullare. La pratica era legale ma a mio avviso non fatta con chiarezza, creandomi disagio e danno. Spero possano comprendere e modificare la ragione sociale, a mio parere ingannevole. Grazie

Terrible! We called to book a hotel room and thought we were directly speaking to the hotel front desk. We were told our card wouldn't be charged until after arrival/check out and we were charged right then and there. Come to find out, we were charged $200 more than what the actual hotel charges and took me 3 hours to get a hold of anyone, after jumping through hoops to find a number and company name to contact them! (We thought we were dealing with the actual hotel) The answering system states the wait time is less than 2 minutes.....nope, finally I have a ticket for someone to review my refund claim. Guy stated I agreed to the terms and it was too late. What terms???? Very shady, sneaky, crappy way to do business. I cannot believe this is a legitimate business. A customer doesn't benefit at all by utilizing their services. FRAUD!!! who pays ahead of time for a hotel room, gets over charged, and can't cancel? Sounds like a perfect scam, especially when they don't tell you what the charges are and the terms. Stupid. Stay away from this site and make sure you're calling the actual hotel!

SCAM,SCAM, SCAM I would give 0 stars if I could!!!!! I never write reviews but this company should be shut done immediately! Totally ripped me off. I was told that I booked a room at the Tropicana in Atlantic City in the Chelsea Tower with an oceanfront room and when I got there there was no room for me. They never sent me a confirmation email. I only got a text and I showed it to the Tropicana and they said it was for a diffferent hotel called Trp. I went there and the hotel was rundown, dirty, and downright scary looking. I told them
I didn’t book there and the person at the front desk was extremely rude and said he didn’t care because he had my $ already. I left and stayed with friends at another hotel and he then charged me 2 additional fees of $50 each on top of the $400 I was already charged and they charged me 2 fees of $14.99. Total fraud!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are misled by thinking you are booking with a hotel room directly and you chose a room, agree a price and are taken to payment page, only after do you seee that they have added a tax charge which was a 25% uplift on price of room and when when you get e mail confirmation do you realise this was a third party.
I have disputed the charge and ask credit card company to dispute.
It is wholly misleading. Do not use this company

Was charged hidden fees and when contacting agent it sounded like she was talking in a roomful of magpies and then she hung up.

We paid booking fees $200 over the total hotel cost. The costs were hidden in the fine print, then when I called customer service, I was informed that these were taxes but that they would not disclose the nature or details of the taxes and fees. Do NOT book with them.

Total rip-off company. I paid for a hotel Extended Stay America. Was paying for a room for my son and I was told he would not need to present the credit card at check in. This was all incorrect information, the hotel would not let my son have the room and I was told the charge is non refundable ! I'm making a claim with my bank against these lying thieves !

Rip Off! - I made reservations through them for a room for my daughter traveling across country. The room was disgusting & not clean (not this company's fault) and she went to another hotel. However, when I called for a refund the rep argued with me including telling me that I needed to get my refund from the hotel. HotelReservations charged me, they needed to refund me! After a long hold they finally refunded my hotel room but I've discovered that they kept there $15 fee. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

Terrible!! Do not use them. I thought I was making reservations thru the resort until I receive the email. I told them I wanted an ocean view and they put me in a non view room. When I called they said they would investigate and get back to me. I know what I said on the phone. This has been over a week and a half and I still have not heard anything. I called and they said a supervisor would call me back in an hour and I still have not been called.The better business beareau needs to shut them down.

Despite receiving a confirmation email that my reservation was priced at $529 including all fees and taxes. They took over $689 from my credit card. Despite them acknowledging they sent me an email with the agreed price they continue to refuse a refund for the difference. I have raised a fraud case with my bank. Do not use them!!!

I am trying to cancel a reservation and can not get anyone to help me. Never will use this site again
