This company is a scam , doubling the price of hotels you think your talking to. I was charged on my card 505 dollars for room and when I checked in the price was actually only 258 dollars. I have been trying to get a refund for over a week and can not get anyone to return my calls or email

Wish I would have read the small print. Thought I was booking directly with the Canadian hotel. I was quoted 140 CAD per night plus taxes, which was the hotels direct booking rate. It turned out the quoted rate was in USD and I was charged an extra 40 USD for God knows what. Very disappointed and I will go out of my way to avoid this company in the future.

Awful theft of a company. Paid them. They didn't make the reservation. They wouldn't refund and told me to wait an hour or two at the front desk to resolve it. They are a scam. At no point would they refund the money and I had to pay full price at the Hotel. Please do NOT use this company. It is a SCAM!

booked a hotel through hotelreservations.com. We got 15 minutes from our hotel when I got the call that my father passed away. We immediately called hotelreservations.com to notify them of what happened. They said they would put in for a refund. 3 weeks later I am still fighting with them and getting the run around about my refund. I will NEVER book through them again. They are a joke......

they did not pay my hotel after i paid them in full and my hotel has charged me, i keep getting the run around about getting a credit

I booked a reservation through Hotel Reservations by accident. The reservation was for a year in advance. They charged my account before I got their confirmation. They have a non-refundable policy. And now, if we need to cancel for any reason, they will not only get their fee but also the hotel charge. Don't get caught In their scam. Make sure you will not need to cancel if you use them.

They led me to believe I was talking to the motel reservation front desk and then charged me over $400 in fees to book my room. I called a second time not to get a room but to find out if they indicated they were the motel’s front desk. When I asked if I was talking to the hotel there reply was yes this is hotel reservation. Very unprofessional and plain out dishonest.

I had a letter from a hotel that I cancelled and they deny my refund saying the hotel denied the request. After all the run around I don’t know what to believe anymore.

This is a scam. Over $100 in service fees, and everything nonrefundable.

I made a reservation through reservations.com and was charged other charges that were not authorized on my credit card prior to checking into the hotel. There was no invoice or explanation for the additional charges. The charge for the hotel room booking was separate and agreed to. Both charges appeared on my credit card prior to checking into the hotel. I'm disputing the charge and taking this to media.

Total SCAM, though I was booking with no fees, they charged me $70 plus the room was over $100/ night more than the hotel would have charged. This should be illegal!!!!!!

I too had a similar experience to other reviews. I have read about this site. I honestly thought I was booking through Hotels.com, which is a very reputable site and I always book through them but somehow I got redirected over to this junk site.

Like the other person right before me was charged an additional $67 for the night. The hotel I am staying at is only $122 a night before tax and these people charged me $189.

I called and spoke with Andrea and she said she could not do anything about a refund for the difference and promised to get me a supervisor. Is 11pm at night and of course all the supervisors happen to be in a meeting…hmmmmm??? I have not heard from the supervisor as of yet, but I am tired of being taken advantage of.

All 3rd-party hotel sites are supposed to give you better rates than the hotel. That is why we go to third-party sites.

I want my refund and then I will stop making a big deal about this. But until I get my refund, I am going to continue writing bad reviews about this place because I have never had a third-party site charge me more than the hotel itself 😡😡😡😡😡😡

Calling from Canada, making a reservation for a hotel in Canada. At no time did the fraudster indicate the reservation would be in US$. I always immediately read the confirmation email. Called back instantly. I had to harass and harass to get it reversed. Called the hotel, I was about to be grossly overcharged. They indicated this site is a 3rd party booking through Expedia. They issued a refund, short $50. I am still harassing them for an explanation or the amount. I can't post this without a star. 1 star is over-selling their service. They are scammers. Don't ever book with them. I am working with Visa regarding this booking agency.

Hotel Reservations. Com booked a 2 night stay for me in Sunnyvale, Ca, but after I could not make it and had cancelled with the hotel , they refushed to reiburse my $518.14 card charge . I have tried several times with both the hotel and Hotel reservations. Com only to have each other blame the other one for the problem. I want a refund from this compain and I warn any future travelling people trying to book a room through them NOT to use this service.

They ran my debit card 3 times. Tried taking 109.80 2 times but the first time it was declined because she told me it was declined. That was the last of my money each time I called for a refund they told me different hours as to why they can't send me to a supervisor and now I just want to take them to a media. Me and my friend are now on the streets in Seattle and no food to even eat we have no idea where we are and how we are going to get help because this company took our money and won't give it back

Booked at a hotel in Jamaica on April, when we turned up, the resort turned us away because one of the party in our group was below the age of 18 (even though our reservation showed there was 1 child). The resort has since refunded hotel reservation, provided proof, yet the company still refuses to refund us the monies paid. It was a horrible experience which left us stranded in Jamaica without a hotel. I have written to the company many times, spoken to them on the telephone on multiple occasions, each time they pretend to speak to some team in the back office, say they will process refund in 3-5 days then nothing. This has been going on since April. I would highly recommend that no one ever use this website. I am in the process of securing legal representation to bring a lawsuit against this company.

I thought I was on the hotel website but somehow was tricked into reserving a room through hotel reservations.com. Found out the room was nearly twice the cost using them. Also screwed my out of $20 when I cancelled. Hopefully I get the rest of my money back that they charged me without permission. DO NOT USE!!!

This site is a scam. Thought I was booking direct to hotel. Advised my total expenses for one night stay would be $237. The following day noted my credit card was charged an additional $73 by HotelReservations.com.
