Beautiful accommodation , amazing house , views and a lovely hottub , and our Host steve was so helpful advising us on the areas to visit in the location

Hatte über Booking das Host and Stay-Beech Lodge gebucht. Nicht nur das man mehrfach Nachrichten vorab von denen bekommt wo ein Koch beworben wird und das man dann ja nicht kochen müsste. Nervt. Abgemacht war das die Unterkunft 16:00 Uhr Bezugs fertig sein sollte. Wir hatten eine lange anfahrt mit viel Stau und kamen erst um 18:00 Uhr in Grantham an. Wir sind dann noch schnell einkaufen da wir selber kochen wollten um uns dann einen netten Abend zu machen. Wie wir im Supermarkt waren klingelte mein Telefon und es war eine Dame dran, leider war es sehr laut und eine schlechte Verbindung. Ich sagte ihr ich kann sie nicht verstehen und legte auf. Wodrauf sie wieder anrief und mein Mann dran ging. Es war die Unterkunft und wir sollten was trinken gehen die Wohnung ist noch nicht fertig. Er sagte ihr wir sind um 19:00 Uhr da. Wie wir um 19:00 Uhr an der Wohnung waren standen auch die Besitzer dort und wollten uns erklären das wir noch nicht in die Wohnung könnten. Die Vormieter hätten den Schlüssel nicht in den Kasten gepackt und sondern in den Briefschlitz. Wir haben dann gefragt wie lange sie den noch brauchen 1 1/2 Stunden und da ist bei mir kein Verständnis mehr vorhanden. Warum meldet man sich erst 2 Stunden nach vereinbarter Zeit? Wenn man bis um 10:00 Uhr die Wohnung verlassen muss, fängt man doch nicht erst um 18:00 Uhr an zu putzen? Man hatte von 10:00-16:00 Uhr Zeit zu putzten oder nach einer Lösung zu suchen! Plus die 2 Stunden die man zusätzlich noch vertrödelt hat um den Kunden zu unterrichten. Wir hätten also unsere gebuchte und lange Bezahlte Unterkunft mit einer Verspätung von 5 Stunden beziehen können. So geht man nicht mit Gästen um! Seit dem laufe ich hinter meinem Geld her. Die haben eine Kostenfreie Stornierung akzeptiert und bezahlen mir mein Geld nicht! Ich höre nur immer, wir danken, wir verstehen, es wird geprüft. Alles nur ausreden!

Great apartment in Saltburn, close to the beach and town, ideal location. Apartment had everything you need for a great stay. Would stay again.

Fully equiped apart from no tea towels

Great location near the shops and beach comfortable beds. Stairs could be a bit steep for some people. The apartment was very clean with everything you need theres even a games machine to play. The only thing that was wrong was toilet seats not fitted propely the locking pins should be set facing forward not to the rear whoever fits these seats needs to read the fitting instuctions. It seems to be limited to the yorkshire properties for some reason. But all in all a good apartment.

Fabulous cottage stay, with a fantastic location in the heart of Whitby! Lots of room for a large group staying and wonderful garden area!
Would have liked a welcome hamper as the only bit of feedback! Would recommend and would stay again

Shepherd's hut was in a great location, about 100 metres from the sea shore, the hut itself was well equipped with everything you needed for a great stay, a nice area outside for sitting although no outside shelter, that was not a problem though, highly rated our stay

We booked a short stay here and the apartment was very well located, only a short walk to West Cliff seafront and 7 mins walk into Whitby town.
The apartment itself was very spacious modern and clean, with plenty of kitchen utensils (if needed). Also a Bus stop right outside front door into Whitby if you don’t fancy walking.
Definitely recommend booking here

Right near to the town . Loads of places to eat out at .

Beautiful location. Accommodation is comfortable, neat and cosy.. Only issue was there was mass fireflies (nothing you can do about it as its that time of year). We had to keep windows closed at night so they did not come in. Could have done with a fan or two as it was very hot. That is my only issue if you can call it that. Hot Tub worked well as a paddling pool for my daughter which she loved. We didn't want it heated so didn't try. Close enough to town that you can walk should you choose to. I will definitely be booking again as we ran out of time to explore.

Lovely location , minutes walk to absolutely everything, cottage was exceptionally clean, stairs are quite difficult if you’re unstable or have mobility problems, but we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend

The property is in need of an update as a bit shabby.
The kitchen had an unpleasant smell.
The ceiling paper in the bathroom is falling down.
The middle bedroom bed frame is all bent to the point you roll together in the bed.
Nowhere to empty bin into outside bin as overflowing.
Toilet seat broken.
The WiFi is terrible so don’t expect to watch any tv as done through cellular as in like a mobile phone and only gets 3g and 4g, doesn’t get 5g.

Apart from this in general the place was clean.

Great location.

Wouldn’t stay there again though.

Great accommodation spotless with everything we needed.
Location is close enough to the town to walk and the communication with the owners was excellent.

Perfect city centre location. Apartment is spacious and perfect for 6 people staying. Everything was presented neatly and all the facilities were easy to use. Hardest part was parking to collect the keys and fob for the garage as it’s a one-way street and double yellow lines. However the garage provided a great secure way of storing the car. Communication with the team has been faultless too. I would definitely consider booking again!

A lovely little apartment over looking the sea. Walking distance to all the main areas of Whitby.
Really clean and everything we needed for our stay.
We will definitely be back, thank you for making it all so easy 😊

The cottage was lovely situated in the heart of a Hutton-le-hole close to the Crown pub and opposite an excellent deli selling home made bread etc
There was easy access to the moors But by essentials before arriving as there is no shop in the village
Lidl in Pickering
Byre Cottage was clean tidy and comfortable
With nicely furnished bedrooms (2) and modern shower room Though the wooden stairs leading up to the first floor is not for the mobility challenged
There is parking to the rear and enclosed garden area beyond for dogs
