From start to finish, Home in Italy exceeded our wildest expectations!

Claudio and the concierge team were exceptional — gracious, accommodating, and always available to answer our many questions and ensure that every detail of our stay at Alla Fattoria (Fattoria di Vibio) was perfect.

We were three generations of family, 27 of us in all, and somehow, the incredible onsite staff — the other Claudio, Jole, Camelia, and Sam — managed to make every single one of us feel special. Their warmth, kindness, and genuine desire to make our stay unforgettable were extraordinary. Nothing was ever too much trouble!

The property itself is simply breathtaking. From the stunning surroundings to the beautiful accommodations, we soaked up every glorious minute.

Our welcome pizza party on the first evening and the wonderful breakfast the following morning were the perfect start to our week. We also arranged for one of Home in Italy's recommended chefs to prepare a spectacular four-course dinner — an experience we're still talking about!

When the week came to an end, none of us wanted to leave. Alla Fattoria gave our family something truly priceless: a week together in an extraordinary setting, filled with laughter, love, and memories we'll treasure forever.

Would I book through Home in Italy again? In a heartbeat! They set the bar incredibly high. It simply doesn't get any better!

Not only was the villa beautiful and well maintained, the staff made our vacation incredibly special. Every detail was perfect and every request completed in a timely fashion. From our initial request for a villa to helping with arrangements during our stay, there is absolutely nothing I would fault in my dealing with Home In Italy.

We rented Villa Bayabella (aka Diodori) through Home in Italy for my husband's 60th birthday celebration. The booking process through Home in Italy was very easy and their communication was always timely.

Their concierge service was an added bonus. Claudio helped me arrange transportation, groceries, wine delivery and helped research potential activities. He also introduced us to the best part of our trip....our chef Gio Smiroldo.

Gio did breakfast for us at the villa every day as well as two large celebratory dinners. Gio was easy to work with, served delicious food and was an overall joy to work with.

The house itself was unbelievable. There were 17 of us and there were no bad bedroom options. There was enough space that everyone could hang out together or do their own thing if they chose. It is easy to get to Taormina by cab from the villa but the hill leading up to it is very narrow and windy so not all vehicles can make it. The vehicle manager introduced us to a local driver named Stefani who was familiar with the house and helped arrange ad hoc transportation as needed.

Overall, the booking process was seamless and the experience at Villa Bayabella was everything we could have hoped for and more.

The house is absolutely stunning and in a beautiful location. We were however disappointed in how clean it was, there were cobwebs all over the ceiliing, above doors which we weren't expecting given how much we spent. Nice toiletries should be supplied like shampoo, conditioner, body cream and soap. We were very disappointed in that. Even when you stay at a nice Airbnb they always supply that. I think that let the property down. Otherwise beautiful.

We went to Villa Arcelle for the third year in a row, and once again had a marvellous three weeks. Luca was as always very helpful whenever a problem came up. There is no more restful location than the Niccone valley in Umbria.

Our family of 11 had the most incredible stay at this beautiful villa in Umbria! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away...the villa was even more beautiful in person than it looked in the photos. Everything was immaculate, and we really appreciated the maid service throughout our stay.

One of the best parts of the experience was the concierge service. Communication was amazing from beginning to end, and they helped us plan so many details of our vacation, including car transfers, restaurant reservations, and connecting us with Holidays in Umbria and the wonderful Chef Daniela for private dinners at the villa. No matter how many questions or requests we had, we never once felt like we were bothering the concierge. They were always responsive, kind, and genuinely happy to help.

The location was also perfect...peaceful and beautiful, while still being close enough to explore the incredible medieval towns throughout Umbria. Some of our favorite memories were simply spending our days together at the villa, swimming in the pool, relaxing, and enjoying amazing Italian food.

It was truly the perfect setting for a family vacation and gave all 11 of us memories we will treasure for years. We would absolutely use Home in Italy again!!!

We stayed at Villa Arcelle for a week in September to celebrate my mother's 70th birthday, and it was a wonderful setting for it. The villa is beautiful, the pergola, the pool and the gardens are every bit as good as they look, and the location in the Upper Tiber Valley is perfectly placed for Gubbio, Cortona and the local markets.

The concierge service was genuinely helpful in the run-up. Lucilla answered a long list of questions patiently and helped us arrange a private chef for the birthday dinner, which was a real highlight, Roberta cooked a beautiful four-course Umbrian menu and handled two dietary requirements without any fuss. Frida, who came each morning, was lovely.

There are a few practical things we've fed back directly which we hope will be picked up, but none of them took away from a really special week. We'd recommend it.

We rented Villa Fenice for a week, and it truly surpassed our expectations in every way. The villa looked exactly like the photographs, which is not always the case with vacation rentals. If anything, the setting, views, and overall experience were even more impressive in person.

The villa was also exceptionally clean and beautifully maintained. We especially appreciated the cleaners coming in mid-week to refresh the house and change the towels and linens. It was a thoughtful touch that made the stay feel even more comfortable.

The villa itself is spectacular. The chef’s kitchen was perfect for cooking and gathering together, the infinity pool quickly became a favorite spot for both adults and kids, and having a private staircase leading directly down to the beach was truly special. The views from the villa are absolutely incredible and something we never got tired of. Some of our favorite memories from the trip were long dinners at the house, enjoying great food and wine while overlooking the ocean.

A special shoutout to the entire team at Home in Italy, who were incredibly attentive and helpful from start to finish. Communication was excellent, response times were extremely quick, and every question or request was addressed almost immediately. We also really appreciated Marion, who greeted us upon arrival, showed us around the villa, and gave us the lay of the land. Everyone made the entire experience feel seamless and allowed us to simply relax and enjoy our week.

Villa Fenice was the perfect home base for an unforgettable week in Sardinia. It was a very special trip for our families, and the house was a huge part of what made it so memorable. We left already talking about when we could come back and can’t wait to return to Sardinia and, hopefully, Villa Fenice again.

The whole experience was excellent. The Home in an Italy staff was so helpful and the Villa was beyond our expectations. The house and views were so much more beautiful than the pictures could ever capture. It was a magical week.

The villa was incredible! The concierge staff were responsive and extremely helpful and the staff at the house were amazing. Our stay could not have been any better!!!

We very much appreciated the experience we had with booking our holidays with Home in Italy: from the very beginning the staff was very helpful and quick to understand what we were looking for and show us options. Our chosen villa, Arcelle, was perfect and we spent an amazing relaxing week there. Worth noting how Home in Italy's staff and the homeowner were during our entire stay, ensuring everything was smooth. Highly recommend them!

An amazing experience, from booking, pre arrival coordination of meals and a small event. through to our stay itself it was perfect. Amazing villa - fully staffed, nicely air conditioned with wonderful grounds and a lovely location. However, it was the staff that made this truly special - like being at your own private hotel nothing was too much trouble and they were all such lovely and friendly staff. Yes, it is an expensive villa but considering the service and everything else, we think the pricing was very fair.

Ok, to be honest, it was a bit scary sending huge deposits to a company on the other side of the world that I had never heard of. However, finding reviews that go back 10+ years helped give me confidence to trust them. It was definitely worth using them. First off, the property was phenomenal and exceeded my very high expectations. Home in Italy also did a fantastic job from their side of things. Especially as we got closer to our trip and utilized the concierge service to make recommendations and plans for us. When we were at our villa, everything was amazing, but Home in Italy still reached out to me a couple of times to confirm everything was to my liking. 100% recommendation and I would definitely use them again. As far as the property goes... WOW and another WOW... and the house manager/ on-site concierge Simona was the BEST!

While Masseria Pistola was beautiful and lovely and the staff were fabulous, working with Home In Italy was less than satisfactory. Last August I reached out asking to chat with a representative, was pushed off until November, and when we finally did get someone who could help us plan our party they were no help whatsoever. The only time we received timely emails from Home In Italy was when they wanted us to pay them. Other than that it took days/weeks to get answers and at once point we were told our “emails were going to spam”. The descriptions of the rooms were confusing and not helpful in making room assignments, our schedule and details were consistently missed in the shuffle, there was a lack of organization by Serena, resulting in the wrong cocktails being served at our welcome party and various other items not being correct. I recommend connecting guests with the house managers much earlier because Fabiana actually could have helped us whereas Serena and the crew at Home In Italy clearly knew little to nothing about the home and the region in general. Disappointed, truly.

The villa was great. It exceeded our expectations. The customer service was outstanding. Every detail was anticipated and every request addressed with care.

We had a great experience with our Villa and the support of the Concierge service as well as onsite local manager. There was a power surge which took the refrigerator out and within an hour, the team was there with a new one. Can’t recommend Home in Italy enough.
