We had a lovely stay even though the weather was atrocious been near the sea watching the storms roll in sat in a lovely comfortable caravan .

Good accommodation/Haven site and rules not good
On arrival we found the external area to be quite dirty and had to clean this before use.
The accommodation itself was very well equipped and clean. The thing you could do to greatly improve the holiday is provide instruction and information pack. Turning on the boiler using the tv and a site map etc
Nothing to do with yourselves but we chose the haven site due to it being dog friendly but to our amazement and disappointment we could not take our Dachshund into any of the venues or even the atrium. We were abruptly stopped by security and told this.
Okay if the weather is fine. One more thing, again nothing to do with yourselves but even the Wetherspoons was very expensive. Overall the accommodation was very good but not impressed with the site.

We do feel it is important to clarify that many of the points raised in this review relate to policies, venue access, and pricing on the Haven holiday park itself, rather than the service we provided or the accommodation advertised. Guests also have the option to leave separate accommodation-specific reviews directly on the holiday home listing for future guests to read.
Regarding the outside area, the caravan is located on the coast and, unfortunately, seagulls are part of seaside holidays. While the decking is cleaned quarterly, it is not possible to monitor and clean it after every occurrence during or before guest stays, as doing so would significantly increase running costs and ultimately holiday prices. Had we been made aware of any concerns during your stay, we would of course have done our best to assist.
We also appreciate your suggestion about providing a more detailed welcome and information pack, and this is something we will look to improve for future guests.
Given your positive comments about the accommodation itself, we are naturally disappointed that issues largely outside of our control resulted in a 3-star service review. Nevertheless, we appreciate all feedback and thank you again for your comments.

Peaceful spot
Love the location of the caravan but it did seem a little more unkempt from last year, bird poo on the patio windows, decking area a bit grubby, key safe on floor, rusted batteries in radio remote, just not quite as good.

We’re glad you continue to love the location of the caravan. We’re sorry to hear you felt it was not quite as well presented as on your previous visit.
The property is professionally cleaned and checked between all stays, and the decking is maintained on a scheduled quarterly clean. Being a coastal location, occasional bird mess can occur between cleans, but this is part of staying by the sea and is not something that can be fully prevented in real time.
We were disappointed to read your comments regarding the key safe and remote batteries, as we were not aware. Had these issues been reported during your stay, we would have attended to them immediately, which they now haven been as noted in your review.
We do appreciate all feedback and will review your comments with our cleaning and maintenance teams to ensure standards remain consistently high for all guests.

Happy with service a bit annoyed with owner Changing WiFi code without telling Andy who was very helpful and problem with patio door which I do not think was a new problem as could not lock first night in caravan Haven came out but could not sort had to tie up with dog lead. Would use HolidayHomes4Hire.co.uk again

We had a wonderful time in this van. However it could have been cleaner!.
Lots of cobwebs, foil in the oven with fat on.

Caravan was comfortable and clean
Caravan was comfortable and clean, great position on site. We felt that the cutlery was not the best, cheap and flimsy. No steak knives either. Apart from that, all good!
