After experiencing some problems booking online, Martin called me to get my holiday booked up! He was a great help and to be honest went above and beyond to get me the best flights, accommodation and Trying lots of different options to keep the price down and the best value! He was thorough and very attentive, even calling back and to confirm booking prior to sending the confirmation email! Lovely service and refreshing to have someone who truly cares about your booking and happiness on holiday! Massive thank you Martin! Hope to deal with you again

I really liked the competitive price of the holiday, flight times, etc. What I didn’t like was two emails, soon after I’d paid initial deposit, threatening to cancel the holiday & retain any money thus far paid if I didn’t pay remainder of money immediately. I was hopeful that first one was sent in error, but when I received a second with what I considered a threatening tone I felt the need to ring to establish what was going on. Fortunately I got through to someone straight away who put my mind at rest. However, I do feel the admin that issues these emails needs sorting out as it doesn’t engender good feelings receiving threats when one should be feeling excited having just booked a holiday!

Just booked my next holiday with Holiday Gems - been a few years since I last booked through them
But got to say it was nice to have a personal touch from Sam - a real person at the end of the phone- and a lovely helpful one too
So efficient and easy website to use

I worry that this company was a scam , I place a booking with Holidaygems to the value of £2000 , I then received a call 20mins later stating that they could not fulfill the booking due to an issue with the hotel room.
It was explained that I would receive a refund but it could take 4-5 days .
I was told this was due to the fact I had paid on a card . I explained that I needed this money to rebook a different holiday for my family.

I spoke to customer services who could not help me but advised that I should email customer liaison , I was sent an email address to which I sent my issues/complaint.
It is now a week later and I have not received my refund or even a response to an email.
I would not recommend anyone book with this company

I booked the wrong hotel and everything got fixed within 24hrs.

This is not a confirmed holiday they only confirm flights. They then call you to tell to you the holiday is more expensive.

Just returned from my package holiday to Calla Millor, Mallorca, booked thought Holiday Gems. I found them to offer fantastic customer service, at a very fair price. All went well, and I had a wonderful, relaxing time. They called me back once booked to confirm everything which was appreciated.
They sorted out for me alterative flights to my chosen airport when my original one was cancelled, very easily and quickly. I would highly recommend them, and would use them again when booking my next holiday abroad.

Do not book with these!!! I booked a last minute holiday with a pice then they rang up and said we need to pay more, whatever we paid it. We had a free shuttle service. When we arrive at dalaman airport the shuttle had gone due to the flights being delayed- fair enough but I didn’t have no contact no one warning just got left. I rang holiday gems they said we’ll send u a refund letter for the £60 private transfer I had to pay. Never got that - absolutely awful service they do not take accountability for the wrongs they’re doing to their customer. Do not book with these much better agents out there. Absolutely appalling services

Telephone call received from Sam at Holiday Gems within half an hour of making my booking- she was pleasant and helpful- she had to advise the price had gone up a bit- quite a shock for me- I explained that I had been comparing against other providers and she went to her manager and got the increase reduced quickly and acceptable.
Turning an awkward situation into something good.
