We travelled on our very first South Africa & safari experience with Kirsty in September this year and my goodness, what a trip! Speaking to Kirsty you can really tell she knows this part of the world inside and out, and she made the trip planning all so seamless and exciting. She was full of advice before we left, and all of this was absolutely spot on for our holiday - it meant all we had to do was enjoy the holiday of a lifetime without having to worry about any annoying elements of trip planning. Emma arranged a trip for us to Japan to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary as we wanted to go somewhere completely different and out of our comfort zone! She absolutely delivered!!
Emma made this trip completely bespoke to us, and listened to everything we asked for to make us feel as comfortable as possible.
Japan is an incredible place to explore, there really are no words to describe our experience apart from this destination will be a pretty hard one to beat!

This was our second trip to South Africa arranged by Holiday Architects. Their knowledge and experience helped us to tailor the holiday perfectly. We visited Timbervati game reserve and Sabi Sands and had excellent game drives in both, seeing all the Big Five plus more, including cheetahs! We also visited the wine region and Cape Town. All the arrangements worked perfectly. Can highly recommend.

We have just returned from a wonderful 3 weeks in Newfoundland and Labrador Canada. Holiday Architects arranged our trip and managed to give us something truly special. All of the accommodation chosen was excellent and individual. We were self-driving and the distances we had to travel had been carefully considered so that they were doable in a day.

During the holiday we saw and did things that we might not have chosen for ourselves and enjoyed all of them!

We had one travel glitch during the trip (a ferry cancelled due to bad weather) this was resolved by HA with CanadaVac seamlessly and in fact our holiday was ultimately improved because of it.

This is our second holiday with HA and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

A brilliant holiday perfectly put together for our family of 6 . Catherine listened carefully to our wishes and created a perfect, much awaited holiday, great walking , excellent accommodation and really helpful at every stage . We cannot recommend them highly enough. Would love to do it all again and will certainly be back to book more trips away .

We had a fantastic family holiday organised by Rebecca at Holiday Architects. She kindly crafted the holiday exactly to our needs, really understanding what we wanted to get out of it. From food tours in the heart of Marrakesh’s souks, to preparing and eating food with local Berbers in the Atlas Mountains, finishing off with a night in the Agafay stone desert - we had a truly memorable family holiday to remember.

Holiday Architects were recommended to me via a friend so I booked a trip to South Africa with them.

Catherine who handled the trip was very helpful and the trip was fabulous all the transfers were on time and seamless.

The acommodation within all the regions were comfortable in great locations and had amazing friendly staff.

The trip ended with a safari in Kruger which was a bucket list experience we saw the big 5 but also saw all three of the large cats which was truly amazing.

We had the most incredible trip to Cambodia and Vietnam, organised by Fenton and Holiday Architects, and I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough.

From the very beginning, Fenton really listened to what we wanted from the trip. We love travelling and seeing as much as possible, but we also wanted it to feel like a holiday rather than constantly rushing from one place to the next. The itinerary he created got that balance absolutely spot on.

Everything was so well organised from start to finish. Our hotels, transfers, internal travel, guides and experiences were all taken care of, which meant we could completely relax and just enjoy each place. We managed to fit so much into the trip, but it never felt stressful.

There were so many highlights. Exploring the temples in Siem Reap, our food tour there, cycling through Ninh Binh, our overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay, the cooking experience in Hoi An and the Vespa tour in Ho Chi Minh City were all amazing. We also had some brilliant local guides along the way who really added to the experience and helped us see so much more than we would have done travelling completely independently.

What I particularly loved was that the trip didn’t feel like a standard package holiday. It felt really personal to us and included the kinds of experiences we genuinely enjoy. Hoi An was probably our favourite stop, but the whole trip gave us such a brilliant mix of food, culture, history, beautiful scenery and fun.

It was one of those holidays where you come home feeling like you’ve properly experienced the countries you’ve visited, rather than just ticked off the main tourist spots.

Thank you so much to Fenton and the Holiday Architects team for putting together such a memorable trip for us. We would absolutely use them again and have already recommended them to friends and family.

Our trip to Jordan was amazing. Everything was perfect. When Ian said everything was arranged, it really was. Our driver Muhammad was great as was our guide in Petra, Ali. It really was a holiday of a lifetime. For those of you that maybe worried about the current situation, we felt completely safe, security was present but it did not detract from an amazing experience

We've just returned from an incredible 21-day trip through Cape Town, the Winelands, Kruger and Victoria Falls, organised by Holiday Architects, and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Catherine Williams put together an itinerary that was, quite simply, perfect. Every hotel — Winchester Mansions in Cape Town, boutique properties in Hermanus and Franschhoek, Bateleur Safari Camp, the fantastic Kruger Shalati (the train suspended over the Sabie River), and Ilala Lodge in Victoria Falls — was beautifully chosen and full of character.
The Cape Peninsula tour and every transfer, across six different locations over three weeks, ran like clockwork.

The safaris were the highlight of the whole trip. The guides at both Bateleur and Kruger Shalati were genuinely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the bush. Add in Robben Island, whale watching at Hermanus, the Franschhoek Wine Tram, an elephant encounter, helicopter ride over the Victoria Falls and a sunset cruise on the Zambezi which we booked direct made for the trip of a lifetime.

What really set this apart was Catherine's attention to detail — nothing was left to chance, we told her what we wanted and she made it happen. We felt looked after from the moment we booked to the moment we landed back home.

Five stars all round. If you're considering a tailor-made trip to Southern Africa, book with Holiday Architects and ask for Catherine — you won't be disappointed.

I first contacted Louise two years ago and so glad I did. She really listened to everything we wanted to try to squeeze into two wonderful weeks in Peru including Machu Picchu for our 30th Wedding Anniversary. After a couple of chats she came up with a wonderful itinerary to fit our budget which included as many of the wonderful sights of classic Peru as we could. Honestly can’t fault the service we received from Louise, the local guides in Peru, hotels, transfer agents and the staff on not one but two epic train journeys we had the privilege to travel. Final word to beautiful people of Peru who just made our trip.

Catherine arranged the most fantastic holiday, fully taking into account what we wanted to do, the relatively limited time we had (5 nights) and created an itinerary that surpassed all expectation. The team on the ground were faultless. Friendly, incredibly informative, reliable and trustworthy.

We recently returned from an amazing trip to Zimbabwe and South Africa. The trip, booked with Lisa went smoothly from the first conversation. All hotels were excellent as was the transport and guides. The safaris in Pumba Water Lodge were definitely the highlight. We also really enjoyed Cape Town, Hermanus and Franschhoek. We are planning to book with the company again for next year. Thanks also to Fenton who sorted out the issue with our flights. Can't recommend Holiday Architects enough.

Once again Holiday Architects created us a fabulous itinerary. This time it was Peru. The range and diversity of the schedule meant we really made the most of the time we had there. We loved all their suggested activities and it was the right balance between being physically active and then some downtime to look around on our own or simply relax. If you’re thinking of booking an adventure do go with Holiday Architects, they really do care and work hard to make it the best trip possible

Hugely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Lisa really listened to what we were thinking and then developed the perfect holiday plan for us, that worked brilliantly for our family. We had the most amazing 2 weeks exploring Sri Lanka.

We travelled to Vietnam as 2 adults and a 16year old this July. The run-up to the trip was challenged by the FCDO advice to avoid travelling through the Middle East, which meant our potential flights with Qatar were at risk. Throughout the time of indecision HA worked with us to provide a robust alternative should the advice not be lifted in time. With 2 weeks to go we changed to Turkish Airlines, only to change back again 1 week before when the risk advice was lifted. This was much time and money incurred by HA, yet they supported us throughout.

The holiday was planned as a bespoke tweek to an advertised plan for an adventurous tour. The majority of the accommodation were indeed personalised bijou places. A couple were not ideal and this may have been the availability overall in the rural areas, and HA have received this feedback.

The in-country guides and transport were really excellent (EXO travel), and anything we asked in terms of small changes or other options were always accommodated. They took pride in ensuring everything was correct.

Overall, we had an amazing time. Our HA team lead Erin listened to the ask and provided an almost perfect 3 week trip. The organisation in the background (and obvious understanding of the country and resources) meant we didn't have to think too much, and the trip, whilst very busy, packed everything in that we had wanted. I would highly recommend HA.

Erin arranged our family trip to Vietnam and we had an amazing time and absolutely loved everything about the itinerary. The people, the food, the places. All we can talk about is everything else we wish we'd had time to do as well when we were there! People ask us which was our best bit and it's impossible as there were so many.
Thanks to Erin's knowledge and expertise as well as the reliability of the agents in Vietnam, the trip all all ran super smoothly and every one of our guides were really faultless.... always ready and waiting for us as per the itinerary but really did go over and above to ensure we were happy, well informed and had all we needed.
We shared with Erin the types of experience we wanted and our highlights were the duck farm experience, the fishing village visit and the bike tour/vegetable garden/ river/ cooking tour, the vespa food tour...THE FOOD! And of course the warmth and friendliness of everyone we met.
This is our third trip arranged by Holiday Architects and we will definitely come back to arrange future adventures with them. Best travel agent we've ever dealt with. ❤️

Our first holiday to Japan was planned with attention to every detail. Fenton went above and beyond to make our trip truly memorable. He had first hand knowledge of where to be and what to avoid. The trip was successfully tailored to having teenagers and although everything was planned in advance, nothing felt forced or prescriptive. We had an authentic trip, learning about Japan whilst covering all the hot spots and places to be. We also saw things off the beaten track, like meeting a descendent of a great samurai in his family home or kayaking in Hiroshima bay completely solo without hordes of tourists. I can’t recommend this travel company more highly!

Lisa Jankus-Scott arranged our two-week holiday in Sri Lanka which was full of unforgettable memories and many highlights.
We stayed in seven hotels across our stay and each were unique and exceeded our expectations. The food was consistently amazing, the people friendly and the holiday exceeded our expectations in every area.
We wouold strongly recommend jeep safaris, Lipton;s Seat and Lion's Rock trips.

Outstanding from start to finish. Lisa was really flexible (and patient!) during the planning phase offering great insights and advice to shape our holiday.
The actual holiday was amazing, with just the right mix between using guides and our own free time. The guides we had were great, accommodation outstanding and all round organisation was excellent. Five stars, would definitely recommend.
