We loved the world book day safari, but some of the stops had taken down the posters with the unlock code on it 2 weeks before the end date

We really enjoyed the Easter Factory Trail. The instructions could have been clearer - we didn't realise you had to scan the QR code at each point at first. A few pages of the book came out blank too... Se mer

It was entertaining enough
Gave the kids something to do. The AI animals were hard to position and looked like they floated off the ground making it look less realistic

Great for kids
A fantastic idea. All the children with ages from 6 to 11 loves looking for them. Only downside is we could not finish it as one of them would not scan and we tried on a few different days just to be told webpage not available. Wish there were more all over the country for each time we go away.

My boys and I had a great time searching for the QR codes and taking selfies with the virtual masks! Also a great way to learn some interesting facts and get some fresh air and exercise!

Hi, We're very sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience on the trail. If a location isn't displaying the trail stickers then please let us know which location this is so we can contact the local hosts and get this fixed right away. Regarding the AR crashing, we do have thousands of players using them weekly so I'm afriad it's very likely to be an issue on the phone. If you can let us know the phone model please, we can try to troubleshoot your issue.

The trail itself was quite fun but not that well advertised and when we followed the link it came up with a map of Staines which was particularly helpful seeing as we are in Southend! Eventually figured it out and got the map but then app either crashed/wouldn't load, it also wiped our keys off after each one found. All in all good for a freebie and a fun activity but could just do with a bit of tweaking.

Hi Sarah, I'm very sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience on the trail. It seems that the printer delivered a few incorrect posters to Southend which caused your odd experiences. This was corrected just afterwards and won't happen again. Sincere apologies though and we hope you had some fun regardless.
Didn’t work properly
The map kept changing to a completely different location and the keys we got weren’t saved.

My sons really enjoyed completing this on Christmas Eve. We got some exercise and they loved the story. As a reward they had some ice cream from the business at the end of the story.

Great experience for the whole family
All set up nicely- clear instructions and map with all destination points. Very easy to use. Taking selfie didn't work but it seemed to fix itself after a while. Such a great fun for the whole family.

A fun free activity for children of all ages.
I did this Jubilee trail with my 4 year old daughter and she thoroughly enjoyed it. The markers were well displayed throughout the trail and with the digital map, reasonably easy to find. The stories were funny and well written and my daughter enjoyed listening to them at each marker. The winners selfie along with the free digital winners pack at the end made the whole adventure well worthwhile. It was a brilliant way to keep a child entertained for a morning and all I needed was a mobile phone. Will definitely look out for more in the future.
