Put a £500 deposit on a £16990 bmw x5…I repeat they did not have time to prepaid the car unless they did it on night shift
Put a £500 deposit on a £16990 bmw x5 at 4.30pm but after reading the bad reviews I cancelled the sale at 06.00 am the next morning! They answered my emails at 16.30 today to tell me that I can’t have my money back because they have started to prepare the car! Bull there’s no way they touched the car between 4.30 and 6am they started preparing after they got my 6am cancellation! If this is how they do business I’m glad I didn’t go through with the sale and give them my £16500 !

If you enjoy dealing with dishonesty and nonexistent customer service, then HighlanderGB is the perfect fit for you. My recent experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. After making a payment for deposit, their attitude towards customer care took a complete nosedive. It's abundantly clear that once they have your money, they couldn't care less about you or your concerns.
Despite multiple attempts to contact them through email and phone calls, they have consistently ignored me. I am currently pursuing legal action against them, and I'm thankful I didn't go as far as a full vehicle purchase from them. It feels like a lucky escape. To anyone considering doing business with HighlanderGB, please heed this warning. Don't let their glossy photos and promises fool you. Their lack of integrity and disregard for customers are truly shocking.
There are many great reputable dealers out there, unfortunately this isn't one of them.

Thank you for your review but we feel this review does not reflect what transpired between both parties and does not reflect the level of service we provided to you.
You showed an interest in one of our vehicles and advised that you had your own finance in place. It turned out that your finance company could not progress your finance after they initially approved you. You later asked to obtain finance with one of our in house lenders.
We worked extremely hard to ensure that we got you an approval with another Lender who matched the previous rate you were given. We communicated with you throughout the process via email and multiple telephone calls ensuring that you were kept updated and answered every question you had.
After your deposit, we arranged your new finance and prepared the vehicle by taking it through its MOT, service and inspection as you had given us a specific date you were available to collect due to the nature of your work. We prioritised your vehicle to ensure your deadline was met.
Once the vehicle was ready, we contacted you and it became almost impossible to reach you. We tried calling you multiple times to no avail.
Regarding your deposit, we communicated to you both verbally and in writing that your deposit is refundable if you are unhappy with the condition of the vehicle after viewing it on our premises.
We feel disheartened about this review which does not reflect what actually transpired and we owe it to ourself as a reputable dealer who values our customers and our integrity to defend our position.

Very poor customer service
I arranged an appointment on a Friday to view a car on the saturday,
After reading the reviews I decided not no go ahead with the viewing,
They called me on the Saturday to see if I was coming, when I said I won’t be attending they hung up, I wouldn’t bother dealing with a company like this, I’m glad I didn’t waste my time or fuel going to view the car.

I was really worried about the reviews…
I was really worried about the reviews regarding highlanders however my partner is a mechanic so felt we had experience to make sure nothing was wrong with the car.
OJ is extremely personable and we haven’t had any issues with him what’s so ever. Everything was done smoothly and on time.
After sales I will need to confirm if we have any issues but I’m confident we won’t.
