I've used the Hero system for five years with my mother, and I would be remiss to not pass along how helpful this device is.

When delivering multiple medications at different times per day... there is no other way to do things. I don't have to worry about second guessing or writing down when doses were given. Hero not only handles that process, it also notifies my cell phone that it's been completed, or that it still needs to be done.

I don't pass on five star ratings normally, but Hero has helped my mother have the right medication she needs at the right time every day 365 days a year. I've only needed to use support three times in the past five years. All three times things went very quickly and corrected what I needed to have done. Hero is the best way to care for your loved ones!

I had issues installing second Hero machine. Once I got the phone call from Ben in tech support, I got the problem finally resolved. Ben walked me through the steps and was very patient with me!

The customer service named “Mina” is unkind. I asked to cancel before the next charge and they took the payment anyway then asked days later why I wanted to cancel. I said I could no longer afford $45 a month after using it for 6months because my partner was laid off. She said days later to cancel I need to pay $270 for the rest of the year and pay to return the machine. They charged me after I asked to cancel asked why as tho out of kindness and concern only to keep saying I was in a commitment. If I don’t have $45 monthly anymore how would I pay $270?

Have been using the Hero pill dispenser for over a year. When it works, it works well. The key word of that last sentence is "when". I would give it 4.5 stars for its ability to dispense medications. But when it has issues, I give in .5 stars for customer service. The HERO company is the perfect case study on how NOT to use AI. The AI they employ is about as useful as teets on a bull. If by some chance you get someone to respond, an actual live person who might be able to resolve your issue, you have caught a leprechaun. More than likely, you will be caught in an AI hell that may or may not get a response days after the request for human contact. Last response was over 72 hrs from the point of request. For a company that builds its reputation around delivering important medications and then ignoring assistance requests, I would say that is a failing business model. I hope this review either gets their attention or their competition's attention. I now get to drive another 300+ miles round trip to try to fix the issues their machine has in delivering the medications needed. This will be the second time in less than a week.

I've been using the HERO machine for over a year now and have found it easy to set up and use. I gave it three stars due to customer service. If I needed to have a question answered that wasn't in their FAQ section, it was difficult to get in touch with a human. Like multiple other companies, AI bots have taken on all the workload.
So, in summary, the machine should work pretty well for you, but hope it doesn't develop an issue.

My husband bought this on impulse from a Facebook add. It’s big and bulky first off. Then I try to return it because he doesn’t use it and pulls get jammed. Apparently must sign year contract. Even if I send the machine back I have to pay the full year. Honestly the business seems to practice some shady practices. They need to be clear this is basically a marketing trap for at least a year and it will continue on if not stopped. It also is not small at all. It’s like a medium coffee machine size. I would pass. The amount of money they are taking each month is comical.

Hero’s pill dispenser is an amazing product and the company provides superior customer service. On the couple of occasions, the wait time on hold is short and the help was handled with compassion and was thorough.

This is an excellent machine for individuals who live alone and frequently forget to take their medications. It automatically dispenses the medication at the precise times you program it to. It has been instrumental in helping me manage my medications effectively, especially since I take multiple medications. I have been using this device for several years. PAH

I saw hero advertise on internet. I order one after I got it set it up and I I love it works amazing. I am not sure why more people don't know about this. I tell anybody I can and how marvelous it work. It's made life and sorting meds so much easier.

This machine has literally saved my life. I take a lot of meds and was getting confused with if I took them or if I didn't take them. Hero is just that...my Hero! Being able to load all my meds and get text messages that it's time to take my meds and the alarm Hero blares until it's taken. This is such an awesome device and I wish more people knew about Hero. I even showed my doctors and they were amazed. So don't sleep on Hero, it too can become your hero!!

I take many prescriptions and my HERO makes my life easier...and safer since to dispenses what I need when I want/need it. The drug interaction chart is great!

I've been a long time Hero user. I didn't get this for a senior parent I got this for me. I have chronic health problems and needed to teach myself the habit of taking my medication regularly. This was a game changer for me and got me to nearly 100% of my meds taken. If you're too busy to remember to take your meds and need to build the habit Hero is a great solve

The HERO machine itself is a god-send. State-of-the-art, no complaints with it. However, Hero the company's customer service is sorely lacking. I was invited by my brother to have access to the app and be 'part of the team' in ensuring my mother was taking her prescriptions. The app said 'check your email', the email said 'check your app', and I am left with no access. Tried to chat online with the CS team and the wait time is... 3 HOURS??? A company like Hero should not roll out their product with bugs in the system, if they are not prepared to respond to customers and fix these issues. They are raking in the money, and have like 3 CS reps to handle the thousands of accounts that are experiencing issues like mine.

Update: 2 days later, HERO reached out to me and was able to resolve all of my access issues. The rep was very polite and apologetic. I can recommend this company as a solution for your medication management needs.

I love my hero machine it makes taking my meds a lot easier I don't have to worry about the weekly pill things now

Excellent concept - organizing and dispensing meds accurately and per my schedule. Has worked flawlessly since I received it, including the app. Terrific follow up by phone by Hero on a monthly basis to make sure there were no problems, and to provide helpful tips. Not a single glitch so far. I'm impressed beyond expectations.

This has truly been a blessing and a lifesaver. When I first got the machine I was excited about all meds being dispensed and reminders. Since I got it I now have a TBI(traumatic brain injury) and I absolutely love every feature Hero offers. Insurance companies need to rec amend this to patients and cover the cost.
