Do not buy from this company. They look like a cosy trustworthy Mother and Daughter team. The sweater I purchased was of very poor quality. Looked like it had been worn before and didn't resemble in any way the colour or pattern I ordered. The website promises a '30 day money back guarantee - shop with confidence if you are not completely satisfied" I am have been told by Helenandsophie that I have to return the sweater to China at my own expense before I have a refund. It is noticeable that the vendors do not give a British address for their operation which puts this website very close to a scam.

Don't buy from this shop the quality is poor to say the least I thought it was coming from there shop but after contacting them it came from China and took weeks to get here . They are a scam .wish I had read the reviews first . BEWARE

Beware of this company I ordered some clothing thinking it was a bona fide mother and daughter small family business. It is a front for a company operating in the US selling very inferior cheap clothing at expensive prices that are sent from China. When my order finally arrived after multiple emails to the company the quality of the clothing did not match its price . Items you wouldn’t look at in on market stall . Inferior quality and shoddily made. If you are able to return the items back to China the postage is very expensive. My mistake was being too trusting. Don’t be fooled by them. AVOID their Facebook and Instagrams profiles at all times.

I ordered a jumper and when it arrived it was far too small and also totally inferior to the jumper pictured on the Helen and Sophie site. I emailed explaining and asked for a refund (as promised on the website) but after two weeks of emails I realised I would never get my money back, and even if I were to return the item to China as told to do there would be another barrier put up. A total waste of time and money by a cynical trader who has no intention of providing a decent service. In the end I accepted a 30% refund and gave the jumper to the charity shop.

DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE A SCAM. I unfortunately bought some boots which too 5 weeks to arrive. They are nothing like the advert and wrong size. I have sent 5 requests to return them and no response. This website is a SCAM.

It stated in the advert the shoes were made from micro suede ,maybe the ones in the photo. They were made from some sort of shiny tufted material really awful I've never seen it before something like a pinata is made from not shoes. What a waste of money I think 1 star is too much.

I have not bought anything from them this time because whoever is behind this scam keeps using, but changing two English women’s names, (ignore the photo of two women) to trick people into buying their items, which look like knits but are just knit photos on some fabric. AVOID AVOID.

My friend has just told me about a jumper she bought from this company… The other reviews are pretty much identical to what my friend has experienced…
The jumper is made really badly from polyester, it’s from china & would have to pay for return shipping… It’s a con, as at this time of year, most of these will be used as Xmas gifts and then would be out of the 30 days return period…
Shame on Facebook allowing these scammers to advertise on Facebook…
Avoid at all cost….

This is a fake company. The items received are not as advertised on the "mother and daughter" website. They come from China and are extremely poor quality. The return process is prohibitive as it involves customs charges and the likelihood of no refund. I did get a 30% refund eventually. A learning curve, always research before purchasing!

One star is too many ! Avoid at all costs the suede boots I ordered that were reduced in the sale to 5995 were not suede they are like a felt and the plastic trim is unsightly this is a fake website with no mother and daughter team because they wouldn’t rip people off if they were real. My own fault for not checking online before purchasing when I seen their ad on instagram. Shocking boots that I wouldn’t give to my worst enemy they’re that badly made.

Do not buy from this company it is a SCAM! The shoes that arrived are the poorest quality I have ever seen. Like previous buyers I am left without a returns option.

The website looks nice and gives the impression of a UK based family business. Eventually received unpleasant synthetic item that took ages to arrive from China. Total rip off. Will try and return but they don't make it easy and not keen on spending more money covering costs of tracked postage to china while suspecting a refund is unlikely to be forthcoming.

The company was advertised as a Mother and Daughter company selling ladies wear. A picture of the shop shows a High Street Store. There is no High Street store and no Helen an Sophie. It's an online company based in China. The coat I ordered was advertised as £90 reduced to £44.95. When the item arrived the material was no better than blanket material and it is unlined. I am waiting for details of a return address but this has not arrived. I feel very disappointed and let down
