Hearmel 

Not worth rating.
Iv had to go to citizens advice because I was getting no where with hearmel and all my emails to them with promises of solving. To get my money back. iv been fob off and now Iv been told by citizen advice to get in touch with my bank to get
my money back on my debit card via fraud team so waiting for form to fill in get my money back so I advise you all to do the same

(Please see update below)Like many others I have been scammed into buying three pairs of hearing aids even though I received an email confirming that my original order for one pair would be honoured. Three separate transactions were made from my Credit Card. I will update this review if and when I receive the hearing aids. Having read other reviews, it seems its pointless trying to return the unwanted items as they get 'lost' in transit. Please do not use this company! The Company is based in Hong Kong and uses A I in its responses.
UPDATE: I REPORTED THE TRANSACTION TO NATIONWIDE, MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY. FOLLOWING THEIR INVESTIGATION, MY CREDIT CARD WAS REIMBURSED FOR TWO OF THE THREE SETS. SO REPORT ANY SIMILAR EXPERIENCE TO YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY.

As with Mr Hughes and Ms Worth, I am still waiting for a 40% refund that was offered in lieu of having to return to China by post at my own cost. I have had to remind them 3 times, now, and this time they request my bank details to 'speed things up'. (I paid by credit card, initially). The product itself is described beautifully by Mr Hughes! I neither, have Elephant Ears!

Been waiting for a refund for over two months and keep getting a AI response

Waste of time ok before they arrived got email delivery was great but when.i went to use them.keot getting a whistling sound tried altering the volume when I could see it but nothing happened sent an online form to tell.them.but no reply obviously a scam says 24/7 support the phone number is weird starts with+44 then a number which is constantly engaged says its a family company so where do they get the hearing aids from

ordered 2 pairs, absolutley useless,requested refund,offered discount to keep ,no point keeping something that is useless, gave me refund address, in china, alarm bells started to ring, but i returned them at a cost of £23 on 24/06/25,after several emails told being sorted,goods being held in customs according to tracking, seeing most reveiws have same experience, DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE SCAMMERS

Wish I’d checked trustpilot before buying! Having ascertained the very poor quality of the goods (probably fit neatly into elephant’s ears) I tried to return (to China at my own expense🥴) but was offered 25% refund instead - this was then upped to 40% but six weeks later I am still waiting, despite weekly emails from me and charming replies! Have to accept this is complete scam. 😡

Further to my early review I am now convinced that this is a scam. As mentioned they sent me 3 sets of hearing aids which I returned the day I received them. I am still waiting on my refund and I have just discovered that the person emailing me has exactly the same name as a person on another app. Steer clear

These hearing aids did not do anything for my hearing and I requested instructions to return them. I was offered a £25 goodwill gesture to keep them but whats the point if they didn't work for me. I asked for a returns address and was given an address in China. Unfortunately a couple of days later I went to look for the email with the address, I couldn't find it so I couldn't return them. A complete waste of £69.

Received double order in spite of cancellation within minutes. Two sets received and when contacted they suggested return one for refund and 50%discount on retained set, after weeks of waiting and contacting Elena (Ai) no response and no refund. This company are criminal and should be investigated, alas no one is interested in this matter and they will no doubt continue to scam people and steal money from them for a long time.

To be clear, none of the blatant and outrageous claims made by Hearmel, Melhear or Meluxa are true. They will never give you a refund no matter how dissatisfied you are with the product. Nor will they cancel your order even after a few minutes. Their so called customer service is in fact an AI washing machine which sends appeasing replies purporting to be from Elena promising to escalate your claim to senior management which never happens. After a while they will change their name and start again. How a fraudulent website can like this can be allowed to continue is a mystery to me.

I should have checked Trustpilot 'before' ordering hearing aids from 'hearmel.co.uk', alas and to my cost I did not. I now find myself almost £200 out of pocket. This has been a terrible experience from the time I thought I was ordering 1 set of hearing aids, but was charged for 3. with the money taken immediately from my bank, I have since seen many negative reviews on Trustpilot. Do Not Use This or any of their other hearing aid sites as they are all scams targeting older people.

This company is not a small uk company as they try to make you think it's a Chinese company which send out goods from a uk address. If you want to get a refund you have to send the hearing devices back to a Chinese address at a cost of around £16 but the items never get there because they get lost in transit. They offer a 40% discount if you don't want to send back but if you accept the discount you will never get it so either way you are not getting your money back. The hearing divises are too big to fit most people so they are useless this is a Chinese scammer company do buy there rubbish goods.

This company is posing as a UK based outlet for hearing aids.

They are really based in China.
I have a friend who found out the hard way... do not use them.

This is not a UK based company, it’s based in China, therefore if you need to return an item you have to send it back to China.

I ordered 2 pairs for my dad, we opened 1 pair which fell out of his ears but also whined, so we didn’t open the 2nd pair. When I asked for the returns process I was offered a discount to keep them, but they were unusable so I said I wanted a refund, I was then told I had to return them to China, I did this and it cost me £12 to send them tracked, according to the tracker they have been held by Chinese customs for over a month now and no refund is given until the company receive them, even then I’m not convinced I will get anything back… should have checked the reveries before I purchased!! Hope this review helps someone else.

Customer service is terrible I applied for a refund as i accidentally ordered 2 pairs the said I could return them or get a discounted refund so I opted for the refund which i am still fighting for. Disgusting service i can't even wear the pair I was going to keep as I have a small ear canal and they fall out. Do not order from this company they are rubbish and their policies mean zilch !!! Sooo cross !!

If I could give less than a star I would. Aftersales service is all AI, I requested a refund but never got it. If you want to return it’s around £16 to post to China but don’t as you will not get a refund. I have 18 emails saying they are dealing with/processing my refund. Absolutely appalling, don’t go near them.

Do NOT use this company!!!! Hopeless aftersales. They promised to replace item when it failed within the first week, but nothing came. Still waiting over a month later and three emails saying they would do. They will lie to you. Do not waste your money.

Don’t expect a refund despite being promised it. Expected us to return them to China (approx £16 to return), post master said most then “go missing” at their end. Instead I have been awaiting for a 50% refund for nearly 2 months. Apparently they have issues with their refund system! According to the many emails back and forth, it is a priority - clearly not. Responses look like AI and never amount to any help at all. Don’t waste your money unless you know the product is going to be perfect for you - as I’m sure there’s no refund ever coming back my way.
