We had a great experience with HCB Legal Limited during our recent house purchase, and we’re really thankful—especially to Carolann, with support from Bronwyn —who went above and beyond to help us through a pretty stressful time.

Our situation was not easy. My parents had to move quickly as they were staying in an Airbnb, losing thousands of pounds every month. Right from the start, HCB Legal took it seriously. They were on top of things, kept us updated regularly, and made sure we always knew where we stood.

The first property we tried to buy ended up being a mess, mostly due to the seller’s conveyancers. They were slow, sometimes dishonest, and generally made things way harder than they needed to be. But Carolann stood her ground. She chased things up constantly, stayed professional, and kept us informed the whole way through. Eventually, we had to withdraw from that purchase due to the chaos caused by other party, but even then, Carolann and Bronwyn were incredibly supportive and helped us manage the whole process of pulling out, both legally and emotionally.

Once we found a new place, HCB Legal really delivered. They helped us complete the purchase in just eight weeks, which was amazing. We were lucky that the other side was easy to deal with too, but Carolann was the one driving everything forward. She worked incredibly hard without missing a single detail.

What impressed us most was how proactive Carolann was. She reviewed documents straight away, picked up on even the smallest inconsistencies, raised questions right away, and kept us informed at every turn. Her expertise and attention to detail gave us total peace of mind. Unlike to our previous experience with another firm who left us to do all the legwork—barely raising any enquiries and sending us search results without explanation - Carolann took complete ownership. This was a huge relief as Carolann made sure we understood exactly what was going on. Thanks to her, the purchase of our second property felt so much easier and we’ve actually enjoyed the process.

This was by far the best experience we have had with conveyancing. We hit problems with the buyers solicitors, but Lucy was calm professional and very effective at getting the exchange done. Worth every penny, and highly recommended.
