Was looking to book when I found out the passes price is extortionate and it does not cover the cost of most of the activities as you have to pay extra on top of the passes. Not happy

Smelly smelly flea ridden van
Just back from a weekend at the Cleethorpes Beach haven holiday park. We booked a dog friendly caravan but did not expect the van to STINK of dog, my allergies kicked in within about 10 minutes of being in the van.
I went to check in to speak to somebody about the van to be met by an extremely sarcastic member of staff who simply said, “you’re in a dog friendly caravan and you didn’t expect it to smell of dog” well no I didn’t.
Then when I mentioned my allergies he again gave a sarcastic reply…my dog is hypoallergenic so does not affect my allergies.
The sofas were all stained, the curtains hanging off, no beds were made and no bedding to make the beds up I had to ring for somebody to bring bedding.
My partner has come away with flea bites and we’ve had to deal with-flea the dog now we’re home.
No way will we stay again. Yes it was cheap as it was out of season but just charge a little more and maybe clean the vans.
Primrose valley FILTHY
Location itself is fine have admit with others the caravans are filthy they clearly just get a quick wipe over. Extractor fans are filthy no idea how they expect them to operate correctly when there filled with dust and muck. The shower tray is holding all the water when turned on can only imagine what’s inside the shower tray waste tray waste a build up of hair and all sorts.
Carpets clearly just get hoovered and never cleaned properly they look tired and filthy. Around the base of the toilet and behind the sink looks like urine disgusting
We are staying at hafen y mor
We are staying at hafen y mor at the moment.
Any issues, requesting, questions etc have all be met with the most helpful members of staff. Loads for my children to do, great entertainment.. only problem this week has been the weather ( rain )🤣
Disgusting
Disgusting. Booked a upgraded to a gold caravan at the Kent Coast Rochester .Absolutely disgusting, yes it was dog friendly, but to have stains all over the carpets and sofas, we had to put sheets over the sofas to cover the stains. No bedding made up for a gold caravan. This is the second time I've stayed here in as many yrs, but doubt I will again. After paying over £500 for 3 nights.
Not happy.
Reighton sands
Fab four nite stay in a silver two bed 19 bay view.beautiful clear sea views from inside and out on decking.caravan was spotless no issues at all very Moden and very clean.staff were all very friendly.
We recently stayed at the Haven Devon…
We recently stayed at the Haven Devon Cliffs holiday park in Exmouth Devon.
As a family who wanted to get away for a few days we upgraded to a Signature Gold caravan with a sea view,at an additional upgrade cost of £205. which looked very nice on the Haven website for the park and caravan.
Upon arriving at the holiday park and being greeted by a member of the security team, who was very unhelpful with giving directions to the static caravan, we eventually found where we would be staying for the weekend.
Upon entering the caravan and removing the sticky piece of tape that had been adhered to the entrance to the caravan, which looked like a crime scene. We were greeted with the bedroom windows that had been left wide open in a very wet and blustery gale force day.the smell of wet dog was also very noticeable, eventhough no dogs are allowed in the caravan. Upon further inspection of the caravan it was in a very dirty state, beds made very poor, cobwebs in the corner of the kitchen and bedroom areas, very rusty radiators, the carpeted area was very dirty, old socks and other items pushed under the settee, dirty pvc door frames that hadn't been cleaned in a long time, the shower head was leaking water and shower tray very insecure. I have sent photos to the Customer service team / complaints department and have not received any explanation to my concerns or a letter of apology or gesture of goodwill.
The overall experience was a waste of £400, this experience has caused distress to my family, who were all looking forward to spending time together. I will never book another holiday at a Haven holiday park.
Orchards Essex
The reason I am writing this is solely because, when you are in the main bar/entertainment area...WHY is the music so loud &full of base/echo that you just can't understand any of the word that are spoken/sung..And throughout the evening your throat is getting sore from all the shouting above the deafening music to have a conversation to the people you're with. And the same for them also. This is NOT ENJOYMENT ITs TORTURE. !!
TONE IT DOWN & TAKE THE BASE OFF A BIT MAK IT MORE OF A PLEASURABLE EXPERIENCE
Combe haven (Hastings) If I…
Stayed at Combe haven (Hastings) If I could give a zero I would! Large booking, including children and a baby. The caravans were disgusting! Mould and dirt on the sofa bed sheets, dirty glasses, dirty shorts and pants down the side of the sofa, dirty tissues under one of the beds which was also broken, not to mention one smelling of stale smoke and the other smelling like rotten fish, to be told the drip tray wasn’t cleaned. When telling reception we were simply told they were fully booked so put up with it!
padgham near Chichester
I went to padgham near Chichester with Haven holidays, for three or four days and had a reasonable time. The caravan was good although there were a few issues, and the food was okay, and the swimming pool was quite good. overall quite a good time
Extremely disappointing stay at Rockley Sands – definitely not worth the money
We were so looking forward to our stay at Rockley Sands, especially with Haven’s reputation, but the whole experience was a huge letdown.
We paid over £800 for four nights in a caravan, expecting something clean and comfortable. Instead, the carpets were filthy and the boiler cupboard door was broken — things that should have been sorted long before anyone checked in.
Although the park is advertised as dog friendly, that really wasn’t the case. We were only allowed in the Mash and Barrel with our dog and were turned away from everywhere else, including the Sports Bar. To make matters worse, I was shouted at by three staff members for briefly walking into the shop with our dog. It was aggressive, unnecessary, and very upsetting — especially since the signage around the park is unclear about where dogs are actually allowed.
The overall hospitality and facilities were poor too. Drinks at the Mash and Barrel were served in plastic cups (even wine), the fish and chip shop had run out of fish by 6pm, and we couldn’t order pizza because the app said delivery wasn’t available and we weren’t allowed into the foyer to order in person. It felt like every part of the experience was a hassle.
After our stay, we contacted Haven to share our concerns, but the response we got was just a generic, copy-and-paste message that didn’t address anything we said or offer any kind of resolution. It honestly felt like they didn’t care at all.
Overall, our stay was massively disappointing and nowhere near the standard we expected from Haven. Between the poor accommodation, lack of clarity around being dog friendly, unhelpful staff, and the dismissive response afterwards, we’ll definitely be looking elsewhere in the future. We do not recommend this Haven site to anyone.
Security Haven Perran Sands
Haven Perran Sands is such an amazing place to be. We come every year. But I just want to say the security team in the live lounge are absolutely amazing. Les and his team go above and beyond for everyone. I also want to say a huge thank you to Les and the rest of the team for some amazing laughs and give them all the credit they deserve.
Havens Weymouth Bay site
We went to Havens Weymouth bay caravan park. Super close to beach, great facilities and activities and the caravan we stayed in was beyond expectations. Great app for info and booking everything from activities to food deliveries to caravan. Everyone super friendly and helpful. But I wanna give a massive shout out and thanks to the entertainment team. They all really love their jobs. One young lady (Ellie from kent I think) really made an effort to come out to the park with characters to help entice my then shy son to join in activities inside and made such an effort. He loved it after that! Will most definitely return!
Terrible dont waste your money
WE THOUGHT WE TRY HAVEN HOLIDAYS WE HAVE KIDS AND NEEDED SOMEWHERE WE CAN ENJOY FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS WELL THIS PLACE IS DISSAPOINTING THE STATIC WAS FINE BUT THE PLACE IS SHOCKING THEY HAVE A ARCADE FOR CHILDREN THEY MAKE YOU BUY A PREPAID CARD AND THE AMUSEMENTS ARE DOUBLE THE NORMAL PRICE. THE 2 PARKS ARE NOT MUCH . THE SOFTPLAY CLOSED ON A FRIDAY ? WHEN KIDS COME? THE SURF RESTAURANT RIP OF NONE OF THE DEALS WERE FOR THE WEEKEND OR AFTER 4PM KIDS EAT FOR £1 AGAIN MAINLY WHEN KIDS ARE NOT THERE NO FRIDAY OR WEEKENDS JUST SOME DAYS IN THE WEEK. WITH BAD WEATHER THERE WASNT MUCH TO ENTERTAIN THE KIDS . BUTLINS IS TACKY BUT ALOT MORE TO DO .

DONT GO St OSYTHS… Orchard Caravan…
DONT GO St OSYTHS… Orchard Caravan Park. If I could give no stars I would. It was the worst experience. When we arrived there were no covers on cushions, the foam was covered with bed sheets. When we asked why we were told they were being washed and would be returned when dry? The dishwasher was leaking, the toaster did not work, the patio table was filthy, no batteries in the remote. When replaced the remote didn’t work anyway. We waited 2 days for replacement. Worst of all, there was EXCREMENT on the curtains. Is this why the seat covers were being washed? I spent more time going back n forth to reception and was told ‘these problems happen at the end of the season…REALLY? Is this what we paid for. We would have come home that 1st evening but we had hired a mobility scooter locally for my disabled husband and didn’t know what we could do with it. What a nightmare. I gave a list of complaints the morning after we arrived to reception and wrote an official complaint when we arrived home but have yet to receive a response, does that surprise me … NO.
Just visited haven site in perran sands…

Thornwick Bay Camping Mud Bath
This review is based solely on camping at Thornwick Bay as had no problem when we stayed here in a caravan it was first class.
Booked an XL electric pitch on arrival given a pitch solely consisting of mud no grass left on it placed right on a corner few feet away from traffic which is one way the family next to us had refused the same pitch due to its condition, aware of bad weather but solely mud so couldnt put canopy up as would have had mud everywhere and been right on the road your packed in like sardines with very little thought for privacy or space even though over 10-15 pitches many with electric were available and upon inspection little difference in size to ours when packing up the dew had settled in the morning the mud becomes horrendous when taking your tent down due to the mud becoming saturated and gets everywhere our tent in a hell of a state.
Probably should have complained but only paid small fee to stay so did not want to complain as first time campers.
Wont be coming back unless an option to book a pitch in advance for a fee like you can do with the caravans becomes an option.
Facilities are fine showers warm toilets and sinks clean the potwash area was well maintained and well lit toilet area and bin area adequate bins for your rubbish.
It feels like haven have no interest in camping as surely the pitches are inspected before next paying customers, customer satisfaction goes along way whether its a £30 stay or £300 stay happy customers come back and that £30 stay may become a £300 stay i will be keeping a close eye on your competitors see if i can get a good deal and customer satisfaction for my hard earned cash and 3 hours of wasted travel gone home with more questions than answers after our camping experience.
Me and my mum just had a holiday at…
Me and my mum just had a holiday at haven perran sands again it was excellent lots to do accomadation very nice very clean everything you need staff are always very polite and friendly will be looking forward to going again next year .
So unhappy with our holiday…
So unhappy with our holiday accommodation. We booked 2 caravans, both dog friendly, one for my parents with disability access for my mum and one for myself and my husband, lady on the phone stated if we called four weeks before our arrival, they will try to place our caravans in the same area. We knew we couldn't possibly get next to each other and didn't expect to, but in the same area would be great.
My mum passed away very suddenly in November 2024 and I became my dad's carer. He chose to continue with the holiday as mum was so looking forward to it and we needed a break.
Called Primrose Valley 4 wks prior and got snapped at on the phone that they will not make any exception to place us in the same area at all and I was to go on the Choose your holiday home, in the app. Except, because we chose the Hideaway holiday and didn't pay for entertainment passes, we weren't aloud to use it, even though the holiday cost me £800! I would've paid to have the caravans closer as I needed to be close to help my dad. We couldn't share a caravan as he has 1 dog and we have 2 dogs. I called customer service and explained all the above, and they said I needed to change the option in the app to choose my own caravan site. There is no option, he basically fobbed me off! As when I called again, customer service told me this and that because I did not purchase entertainment passes, it was not open to us.
My dads disabled caravan was dirty, the shower tray was black, we think from wheelchair tyres, the toilet was stained brown in the bottom, pillows had blood stains on, mattress had yellow urine stains on, which they tried to cover up using 2 sheets, which also had stain's on. The floor was dirty, carpets had heavy stain's on and microwave was placed too high for him to use, being at least 6ft as I had to reach when making his breakfast. Quite dangerous and how a wheelchair user would use this I don't know.
We managed to get the shower tray cleaner with bleach and the toilet abit cleaner using bleach and sterident tablets. We reported all this, but noone came or was interested.
We went in to our caravan and it was worse. To start with all the windows were covered in bird poo, and this was old, Sofa arm was torn, sofa cushions brown with dirt, dining window curtains had food grounded in and torn, radiator top rusty, not nice to eat next to, lounge curtains were torn, fridge had sticky marks in, especially the door, kitchen top shelf was thick with dust as I found when I put our cereal boxes on, toaster full of crumbs, dirty brown toilet and seat, carpets brown stains, especially double bedroom, double bed mattress had a large urine stain on, pillows dirty, duvet dirty.
We understand these caravans take alot of use and must be challenging for the cleaning teams, but we pay to stay in these homes and expect them to have the same cleanliness and hygiene as we do at home. First thing we had to do before we started our holiday and could relax was clean 2 caravans. We did report this but noone came, although the queue was rather long at reception when I went in.
Some people got told of they don't report it in the first 4 hours, they cannot guarantee it to be sorted!
I'm sorry but if I'm paying £800 each caravan, I expect it to be clean, no matter what caravan it is. I know we have dogs, but we don't allow them to cause damage and clean up after them. Luckily we took extra blankets and placed them on the sofa so we could sit down. I never thought I'd be so happy we took dog blankets with us for us to sit on!!
We went the onsite fish and chip shop, over priced, small piece of fish, which was grey and under cooked, batter stodgy and soggy after a quick fry I imagine as it was busy, chips weren't cooked properly as cold inside.
The park itself was very well maintained, but surely if they can put all that effort in to outdoors, they can prioritise the hygiene conditions in the caravans, as this is just as important, if not more.
We won't be returning to this site again. Extremely disappointed and never had conditions like this to deal with before.
Thing is, they never offer any discount, refund or came to correct the issues we reported. Why should we return to a site that don't respect our custom or share our values.
We are going with a different company for next year.
Visited porthmadoc caravan site
Visited porthmadoc caravan site, lovely new saver caravan stayed for 7 nights.everything you can need on site, beautiful mountain scenery.close to porthmadoc town, lovely beach.would recommend.
Hafan Y Mor 18 Ogwen, avoid this plot!
Basically we were allocated accommodation in their gold seaview caravan at the Hafan Y Mor site. We were told we would be at Enlli so did not use the automated service as Amelia in guest relations said we will be in Enlii and the number will be confirmed nearer the time. Imagine our disappointment when we arrived and found we were basically behind an old car park, which was continually busy with people walking past, four wheeled bikes and electric Segways. We had no privacy and because it was the access to the beach it was continual, all day and into the evening. So if you are placed in 18 Ogwen expect your holiday to be ruined!!!!! Guest relations will take no responsibility either. I would avoid Haven if you can, it is over priced for basically a glorified run down Butlins 😡
