Hark Tech is an independent UK mail-in workshop run by Grant Harkness, providing custom 3D printing and electronics repair for customers across the United Kingdom. Each job is handled directly, from the first technical review through to testing and return packing. For custom 3D printing, customers can upload an STL, sliced 3MF or supported CAD file to receive an online price based on the actual model. The service covers prototypes, replacement parts, workshop accessories and small production batches in a range of materials. Ready-to-order community designs are offered only where their licences permit commercial manufacture, with the original designer credited. Repair work includes games consoles, laptops, MacBooks and selected board-level electronics. Hark Tech carries out component-level diagnosis and soldering where appropriate, and explains when a repair would not be economical. Current services, prices, warranty terms and booking routes are published on harktech.co.uk. Hark Tech operates by post and does not have a public shop, walk-in desk or customer drop-off address. Please use the website contact form before sending a repair. A job is not started until its scope and price have been agreed. Customer reviews should reflect genuine completed work. Hark Tech does not pay for positive reviews or ask customers to omit criticism.

Fantastic and great customer service
I had an issue with my laptop and was quoted a lot of money elsewhere just to have a look. Grant was very upfront and transparent with how much it would cost and it was very reasonably priced too! I sent in my laptop and he kept me in the loop every step of the way. He also noticed my laptop needed some thermal paste, sent me images to show me what mine looked like and offered to do this for me whilst he had it. He said I didn't have to have it done and was clear it was just a suggestion but after my approval, he did it for me too. The laptop was sent back to me in great condition, he even gave it a little clean for me free of charge! As an added bonus he has a fantastic help section on his website for common issues. Highly recommend his services and will definitely be using him in the future.
