Used Happy Bus to and from East Kilbride twice now, first for Punk All Dayer in Bellahouston Park, then For AC/DC in Murrayfield. Both times easy enough to navigate, the busses after the gigs are all... Se mer

Zero stars!
Zero stars!
What a total farce! 4 1/2 hours to get from Broughty Ferry to Glasgow (OVO) Pickups were scattered all over the place. Came across 2 low bridges and the driver had to reverse for a considerable time as narrow roads and nowhere to turn.
Had to go to depot and change buses on return journey as a fault with the bus we were on.
Never again!
Not a Happy Bus- 'stress'bus more like
My daughter had VIP tickets so could get into venue earlier for a sound check and Q&A meet with the Artist. I paid a lot of money for this!!
The ' Happy Bus' gives no indication of time it takes to get to venue, after a late pick up my daughter will miss the registration for signing in at the vip nation desk!! It's the last time we use This bus!! It spoils the whole event. Why can it not have a bus that goes direct. 😒
If I could rate 0 I would
If I could rate 0 I would. Bus got lost on country roads, tried to get under multiple low bridges (which each time had to reverse for 10 minutes because paths too narrow), did not follow correct route, and lots of time wasted during stops.
I highly recommend Happy Bus Hire
I highly recommend Happy Bus Hire, all the staff and drivers are so friendly and helpful, they are quick to get back to you and really great value for money. The first time I used them for a long trip no other company came close in price.
we have used them a few times now for business and for festivals and they are always on time and go out of their way to make your journey pleasant. I have had to change times etc., and they have always managed to accommodate my changes. Nothing is too much trouble. 10/10
A dreadful company
I joined this company and worked for them for just 2 weeks. It became abundantly clear that the person running the company “Stephen Greenwood” even though on company house information. Gov site states he has resigned because he lost his operators license for unsafe practices. He then put the business in his mother’s name “Christine Kelly” so he could continue in the same manner. His attitude towards customers complaints, the business, his drivers and most importantly the safety of the buses and passengers is appalling. One of his existing drivers is due in court because the police had stopped in one of the buses for having no tax and mot. This driver through no fault of his own could lose his psv license. 2 of the buses that I drove during my short time there had no mot on them and 1 in particular had a serious brake failure whilst I was on the road. He dismisses any complaints from customers and he clearly does not care for either his drivers or his customers. As soon as I had all the information I resigned immediately and handed everything back to him including a debit card that I was given to fill the bus with fuel which didn’t work as there was no credit put on it. I ended having to pay the fuel myself and then having to wait an unacceptable time to have it reimbursed to me. Since I’ve resigned he is refusing to pay me for work that I have done. So clearly a dishonest person. The company business address is totally different to the yard and office that the business is run from. The yard is at Barrow lane and the office is a run down caravan. The caravan is surrounded in dense undergrowth and clearly there is a rodent problem. He is also breaking employment laws by not having any toilet facilities, running water or electricity, and drivers has to use the undergrowth as a toilet. The company clearly has no regard for the drivers or passengers safety. This company had to be avoided at all cost when planning any trips on the road.
5 stars
Was slightly apprehensive after booking given the existing reviews, however cannot rate them highly enough! Went to catfish from East Kilbride yesterday, driver and staff were extremely pleasant and everything ran smoothly. Bus went out on time, easy wrist band system and was waiting on us after concert finished. Took ages getting off the ground to go home but that was due to RHC rather than happy bus. Will defo use again for any gigs or festivals.
No Happy Bus to be seen
Booked a happy bus for the Pink gig at Hampden (Friday 28th June) and the bus from Buchanan St bus station to Hampden was fine. Got out of the gig just before 11pm and walked straight to the bus pick up point at Asda and waited for 2 hours in the cold for the bus to arrive. In total there were 2 buses in 2 hours which is ridiculous. Probably 300 people, maybe more, standing out in the cold and we were told there were 6 buses coming but none appeared and the young girls working for Happy Bus had no idea what was happening. We won’t book again.
28 June Edin/Hampden
28 June Edin/Hampden, 2 buses required - both very late in arriving in Edinburgh. Got the last seats on the 1st bus. Had friends on 2nd bus who had to wait another hour, then they were driven round in circles back to pick up point as driver didn't know where he was going. Return journey was horrendous. Told to return to exact same spot we were dropped off at - did so, no bus at the spot or even in the same street. No staff around to assist. Found 1 bus in next street, already full, driver couldn't help, couldn't contact staff or other driver. Eventually 2nd bus came. Got back to Edinburgh, stopped 3 times at the request of passengers. 7 of us getting off at drop off point. Driver decided not to go to drop off point but at no point said he wasn't going to drop off point. When he drove off passed the turn in point to get to drop off point ie drive off in a different direction we asked him where he was going and were told "I am going back to Glasgow". Had to insist on him stopping the bus to be let off a fair distance from the drop off point and just before West Approach Road. Unacceptable, staff are unhelpful. Will never use these people again.
Booked the Stirling bus from…
Booked the Stirling bus from Hampden/Stirling for pink return. Left the concert straight away and got back to the pick up point within 45 minutes (advised by driver) to find no bus. We were advised that the bus had ‘left early’. Don’t know what we would have done without without erin and Susan (staff) who ended up taking us home - as every other member of happy bus staff sent us street to street. First and last time using the company - stressful beyond belief thinking you are stranded! Never again. But thank you to Susan and erin for helping us get home in the end up. Would not risk again.
After Pink in Hampden on the 29th of…
After Pink in Hampden on the 29th of June 24, the bus to Coatbridge was late causing a queue and we did not arrive on home on time for the advertised time. The happy bus operator told us the company Abbey that they were using is notorious for being late. If the happy bus chose to use these suppliers this is fully on them. Ruined the end to what would have been a great night out. I’ve used buses like this in the past, included for Taylor Swift the ears tour and I have not had to wait this long. When the bus did arrive it smelled of Marijuana, I don’t know if this was from the driver or if a fox had urinated all over the bus. Terrible service and would not recommend
Shocking service
Shocking service. Bus was suppose to pick up from Hampden Park (Pink Concert) from Asdas every 15min. After standing in the que for an hour and half with no communication we decided to get an uber into Glasgow by then we had missed the last bus at midnight therefore had to get another Uber from Glasgow to Perth costing a further £100. Not happy at all. Take your money then couldnt care less.
Edinburgh to Bellahouston Park
Used to travel from Edinburgh to Bellahouston park in Glasgow. Coach picked up us as planned both to and from the concert.
The only negative was that the pick up time to travel to the concert was moved forward by two hours, so we did have to change our plans to be there in time, but I assume this was to get us to the venue for the official start time/support acts.
I was a bit apprehensive about whether the coach would turn up after reading some negative reviews, (I didn’t see them until after I’d made the booking) but it all worked out fine for us so wanted to give credit where it’s due
DO NOT USE
If there was a negative 5 stars, that’s what I would leave as a review following service from seeing pink at Hampden Park last night. Absolutely shambolic. Arrive for our shuttle bus home having walked straight from pink finishing, joined the queue at about 11pm. We were told numerous times busses were on the way, at one point told that 6 buses we were the way back from Buchanan street bus station which was absolute lies. They never appeared. Eventually a staff member flagged down a random bus who must’ve agreed to take a coach load back. Must’ve been hundreds of us stood for two hours to eventually get on a bus whose clutch smelled like it was on its last legs. Felt bad for the folk left standing! Small kids and pregnant women were in the queue as well. Just awful service.
Would use again 100%
Bus collected us on time and left after the concert on time. Was apprehensive due to reviews but we had no issues.
Worst service ever
Used the happy bus for the first time to go see Pink at Hampden. I can assure you there is nothing happy about it. It came an hour late for pick up from Edinburgh and due to the driver going the longest way possible to get on the m8 we ended up 2 hours late for the start of the concert. It didn't end there though. Went to the pick up point we were told to go to on the way back and surpise surpise no bus showed. None of the stewards could help until eventually we were told to walk 2 streets away which was no where near Hampden. It was appalling service and to top it all off the bus driver went down a road in edinburgh that was closed and had no idea what to do so we all had to get of the bus before we were even in town. I've emailed them for a refund but cannot stress enough DO NOT EVER USE THIS SERVICE
No communication. Or explanation
Some confusion as to bus was coming got txt saying 30mins late, them get conflicting stories that bus broke down they're sending taxis etc. I phoned emailed three times no answer I was travelling on own had to.make a decision so ended up getting train only to find out that bus eventually turned up. This was tues 25th I'm still.waiting on explaination and money back for train on a positive not I did get bus back. It's just no communication no way of instant contact am no happy at lack of communication, just total silence as regards to.explanation! Just be careful in using them.
If I could give a 0 rating I would
If I could give a 0 rating I would ! Didn’t turn up till 3 hours after we were meant to leave which meant we missed all the support acts . Then after the gig it wasn’t clear where to get the bus and it left without us .it wasn’t a nice experience at all !
Awful!
Awful!! Do not use! Money grabbing and don't care about customers service, bus didn't show! no communication until after several phone calls from others to then say they had been let down by a bus and were arranging taxis! No update on this to then be told an hour and a half after the bus was to pick us up that another bus was going to be another hour!! Missed half the gig that we were super excited to see, no apologies no communication waiting on a response on several platforms!!
ZERO stars
Bus turned up 3 hours late, stood in bucketing rain waiting and missed most of the concert by the time we got there. Tried phoning, texting and emailing to get info, NOTHING!!
2nd time using this company and both times pick up was late and missed the supporting bands. Definitely 1000% DO NOT recommend this company
Cancelled bus, zero communication
Left waiting outside our pick up point for over 45 minutes.
Another customer decided to phone to find out what was happening and thats when we were told the bus had been cancelled.
Initially told they would sort taxis for everyone to get to Glasgow to then be told to find our own way there.
Pick up should have been 3pm, didn't manage to get a taxi until half 5. Missed all the support acts.
Was completely let down and ruined the night.
What was more annoying was the fact they knew the bus was cancelled and made no attempt to contact the 30 people that were waiting for it in the pouring rain.
