you publish a unique article on their site and they take around 3-4 days reviewing it , then bam reject it.
I guess they take those articles and use them for their own benefit and affiliates !

Not Recommended
I recently started writing tech articles and came across HackerNoon. Suddenly I got an email like this
"Your account has now been added to Hacker Noon blacklist, and you will no longer be able to submit stories on HackerNoon.
If you didn't plagiarize and this is a simple misunderstanding, please let us know and we can remove your account from our blacklist.
To avoid getting permanently banned:
You must reply to this email within 48 hours with your claims. "
I replied to him within an hour but still they don't remove my account from blacklist. Also, I don't promote any website in my articles, then why you should do that kind of activities.
Is this total waste of time? I lost my time and efforts.

I can ensure you that our editorial team is growing and our process is getting better and better every quarter. The exact numbers vary per week, but just last week we rejected 130 articles, and had a rejection rate of about 41%. So I hope you trust me when I say a lot of editor's time is spent ensuring that our articles are free of overly promotional spam.
Also, trying to sell paid guest posts is prohibited on HackerNoon (because posting is FREE). Anyone can submit an article on HackerNoon by creating a personal account.
On the business side of things, HackerNoon does allow verified businesses to promote their work on HackerNoon, via our brand-as-author program. One of the use cases of Hacker Noon as a publishing platform is for CEOs, founders, and devs to show off the amazing work they do, and we will continue to help brands show off the amazing tech they are creating.
The way we see it, as long as the reader gains more value from the article than the writer does, it's alright in our books.
