Grubby Omdömen 

We've been using Grubby now for a few years on and off, and consistently for a year since I started a new job which meant time for meal planning/ food shopping was limited. The quality of food is fantastic, the meals are varied, and the customer service is exceptional. I'm vegan and my partner isn't and we both love the meals.

On the rare occasion we've had an issue with an order (eg issues with courier, missing ingredient - all things which are bound to happen once in a while!) I've received a response from a real human, typically within a couple of hours, resolving the problem.

Up to now finding excellent ( been with them for three deliveries so far) Food is delicious, easy to prepare and no waste which I love. I like everything about this company and for every box I buy a child in poverty receives a meal. This company speaks volumes in recyclable products and environmentally savvy.

I have enjoyed receiving,cooking and eating the meals that I have chosen. However, the last order I received I had not ordered and was ordered for me. I made one of the meals last night. I wasn't a fan. But also disappointed that I had paid for that. Also two other meals have ingredients that I do not like, so not sure how that will work. Whilst I appreciate that you have to get your orders in, maybe don't make an order? Or have a no list of ingredients for customers to update?

I love the food I have chosen so far. The only negative comment would be that my box doesn’t get delivered until 6-7 pm on a Monday evening. It has already left the site two days earlier so that is three days in transit. Saying that the produce has so far been fresh and tasty and hope this will not change.

Really tasty recipes, easy to follow instructions, excellent value for money.

Wow! Me and my partner are vegetarian, and was finding the other subscription services very limiting to what we could order weekly. One quick google search is how i found Grubby..

Although we are vegetarian, the vegan options Grubby have are ten times more up our street than the veggie ones offered elsewhere! And WOW! Truly the most tasty meals I have ever had have come from Grubby. You would not ever know that they were vegan, even the Mac and Cheese we had which can sometimes be a big give away!

There has been a couple of times that something from my boxes have been missing, but both times I have got almost instant replies from the customer support team who sorted this for me immediately.

Me and my partner are i would say 80% vegan, 20% veggie now because of Grubby. I think it has opened our eyes a lot to the Vegan world and how delicious it really can be.

I am so thankful that i found you guys! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

Vegetables arrive either wilted or in poor condition… was unable to use spinach and coriander and similar herbs … cauliflower stem in bit of mess
Freezable portions are miserably small not enough for an adult … condiment portion ingredients not listed and very small portions

As a vegan I have struggled to get decent subscription boxes. Grubby is perfect. It's fully vegan, the recipes are amazing and there is zero waste. I love these boxes and will continue to use as have never found another one to match in quality. The ready meals are lovely too but they are a bit too pricey for me. Highly recommended.

Grubby has a been a bit of a life-saver during busy travel periods, where shopping and cooking would have taken up too much time.

The meals are tasty and healthy.

The service I received from Lily has been exceptional, especially after a late delivery meant my meals had defrosted. Lily arranged for another box to be sent out to me, and offered me a refund on the original box.

I can't recommend them enough.

I tried the ready meals as a form of meal prep, whilst the concept is good and I appreciated not using huge amount of plastic the meals were nearly all defrosted as the one small ice pack did nothing to keep the meals frozen.

Sadly, the meals were all bland and watery and I am currently struggling to eat them/get through them. Would not order again.

Please answer telephone calls and emails. Speaking to a real person is so important in marketing today, especially For foods. Also it is a good idea if you could mark your deliveries “frozen“ this might avoid them being left too long in the Sun by delivery For these reasons I have cancelled my subscription, although I did like the food.

Fabulous meal kits with lots of new foods to try. Kits come ready sorted so you don’t have to work out what belongs to each menu.
Really look forward to choosing meals and eating them of course.

Very happy with the recipes and the choices. Only have a little issue with packing/freshness, my delivery came today and DPD didn’t follow my instructions to leave with my neighbour. They left it in my doorstep in full sun. When I got home 4 hours after delivery everything felt warm as there was no cold packs inside (and on past deliveries even when there has been a cold pack inside it’s usually already fully melted). This is more a DPD problem since they didn’t follow my instructions but last week my mushrooms in the delivery were already going mouldy 3 days after delivery and I had to throw them away and buy a pack myself.

I do rate the service & choice highly, but if this happens again I’ll probably stop buying

I wrote a review back in February 2026 explaining how Grubby had completely changed my relationship with food. A few months later, I wanted to come back with one simple update…

I wish I could give even more stars.

Everything I said then is still true - if anything, it’s become even more true with time.

The meals are still the most exciting, varied and genuinely delicious high-protein plant-based options I’ve found anywhere. The quality has never dropped, and I still look forward to choosing what I’m going to eat each week.

What has stood out even more, though, is your customer service. Every time I’ve had the smallest issue, or large issue that wasn’t grubbya fault at all, Lily has sorted it within 24 hours, always going above and beyond. That level of care is so rare these days, and it makes such a difference.

This isn’t just a meal service to me anymore. It genuinely changed my life. It helped rebuild my relationship with food, made cooking something I actually enjoy, and gave me confidence around eating again.

I’m forever grateful for what you’ve created and for the people behind it. Thank you for continuing to care so much - it’s noticed, it’s appreciated, and it’s the reason I’ll keep recommending you to everyone I know. ❤️

100/100!!!! All vegan - incredibly tasty - the easiest possible 'cooking' process on the ready meals. Totally changed my health and life. I eat the ready meals twice a day and am losing fat and gaining healthy muscle because some of the meals have a lot of protein. Cannot recommend enough.

We love Grubby and have a mountain of recipe cards now. New ones every month so you don’t have to repeat, but sometimes we do just because the recipes are so tasty! Very easy ordering and delivery too. Only one request -some plant based paneer recipes please 🙏🏼

Amazing choice, recipes and taste. Full of flavour and creates interesting meals with exactly the right ingredients when you don’t have the headspace to be creative after a long day at work. My daughter loves it too and we’ve decided it’s the best way to ensure she gets balanced meals whilst at uni from next year so plan to sign her up too. Thanks for the deliciousness and making it easy Grubby team.
