I've just received an Imperfect Box from GrowTropicals and I'm absolutely delighted! As a returning customer, I honestly can't praise them enough. The plants I received are stunning, healthy, vibrant, and far more beautiful than I ever expected from an "imperfect" selection.

One of the things I love most is their commitment to using recyclable packaging. Everything arrives well protected while still being environmentally conscious, which is something I really appreciate.

Every order I've placed has exceeded my expectations, and it's clear that a lot of care goes into both the plants and the customer experience. If you're considering ordering from GrowTropicals, I highly recommend them. Fantastic plants, great packaging, and consistently excellent service!

I placed an order (#GT74412) for a Doc Block Anthurium.

I reached out for an update on 2 June because I had received no information. Customer support replied on 3 June, explicitly stating that my pre-order was scheduled to begin dispatching "next week" (the week commencing 8 June).

By Friday 12 June, the plant had still not been shipped. When I followed up, I was informed that they ship in order of purchase and not all pre-orders from that round had gone out yet.

Because my expectations were poorly managed regarding the guaranteed shipping window, I requested a refund and cancelled my order. Very disappointed with the communication timeline, I won't be ordering from the company again.

UPDATE (18/06/2026): The company director has since reached out via email to apologise for the communication breakdown and offered account credit.

While I appreciate the leadership taking accountability after the fact, it does not change the poor experience and unmanaged expectations surrounding the original order timeline.

Excellent customer service to arrange a delivery for a suitable day (due to a last minute schedule change at my end). Very kind and responsive support from the team. Beautiful plants.

Ordering and payment was very easy and plenty of choice at affordable prices. Slight criticism hence the 4* rate and not 5 was the wait time. The advertised time was 4 to 5 working days but had not heard anything after this time so had to message Customer Service asking for an update. They were very quick to respond and gave me full details, receiving my items the next day Excellent Customer Service in this occasion. Overall a great experience that warrants a 4.5* if that were possible and I would recommend them and shall be using them again

Great selection of unique hard to find cultivars, communication from ordering through to delivery excellent. Plants arrive in perfect condition, excellent packaging and real time and effort to ensure plants arrive in perfect condition out the box . Respond to all e mails within 24Hrs , both resolving any issues quickly and effectively and going the extra mile to find those unique collector plants that are not even listed. As someone in the trade for 30 plus years I rate Grow Tropicals as an excellent company and a pleasure to deal with. They are only one of a few who can actually make online plant sales , through to shipping a living product to your door seamless and the product speaks for itself . As all companies it’s only natural to have the odd issue especially when dealing with live plants and their customer service and resolve any issues is excellent. They really do care about the product and their customer experience and this really shows .

I have ordered a few times from Grow tropicals and have been very impressed with the quality of the plants I have received. They have also been quick to reply to any queries I have put to them.

My only note for improvement would be concerning the rescue boxes I have received. The plants are great, I have just found that a lot of them come without labels, and when you don’t know what you’re getting in these boxes, and especially when it comes to the ‘baby plant box’ this can be a little tricky when it comes to knowing what plant you now have in your collection.

I have tried a couple of online plant shops, but nothing has come close to the excellent service and high quality plants like the ones from GrowTropical. I have also have tried a few of their imperfect and rescue boxes, and have been amazed with the quality of the plants received! Their customer service has also been rapid and amazing when I had to very last minute change delivery details.

I have been really impressed with both the quality of the plants as well as the excellent, responsive service. I have bought a few individual plants which have been great value. So, when I noticed there was the option for a ‘rescue box’ for £15+ delivery I gave it a go. The three plants that arrived were in top condition and incredible value. As well as filling my home with plants I also manage a therapy centre so I will definitely be sharing a link with the other 30+ managers in our national company.

Plants always packed well, and you can even add a heat pad when the weather is cold. Great selection of plants. Would definitely recommend. Ordering is easy and customer service good👍

Very happy with the plants I have received from GT over the last 10 months. All of which are still thriving. Highly recommend the huge and healthy variety of plants they have on offer. Plants are packaged well for delivery.
