Great customer service so far, easy to book and great advice, the team answered my questions quickly and have given me reassurance that the hen party will go smoothly and hassle free, by far the easiest way to arrange a hen party , no need to chase people for deposits and feel the stress of paying over others! Cancellation 26 days before event
I had a booking with Groupia for a cocktail making experience, which was cancelled because a staff member left 26 days before the event. They offered three alternatives: one that was already included in my package, a spa experience that was unavailable to us due to our other activities, and a bar with poor 1* reviews and mentions of spiking occurring. This left me with no real solution and now it appears I’m being forced us to potentially incur additional costs to secure an alternative ourselves due to the incompetences of their supplier. Groupia was unable to help and felt no real care is being provided except £30 refund, causing unnecessary stress and inconvenience for an event we’ve spent a lot of money on already.
This is not the first time I’ve had issues with them. Their claim of “stress-free” service is far from reality. Adding to my frustration, my booking manager was changed without any explanation, has been on annual leave ever since and I’ve been passed between random people leaving me feeling that there is no real care or service.
After this experience, I’m genuinely anxious about the rest of our event. I expected great service and support, but this experience has been extremely disappointing.

The cocktail making cancellation was unfortunately something outside of our control, as the venue’s key staff member left unexpectedly. This wasn’t something anyone could have predicted, and venues often struggle to replace staff this late in the season. That said, the issue has now been resolved, and we’ve covered the full cost of the alternative class you sourced so your group isn’t out of pocket.
Regarding your booking manager, team changes do happen when staff move on to new opportunities. Your new booking manager has been on a short period of annual leave, but was in touch with you before and after this to help. During that time, our team stepped in to make sure all your queries were answered quickly and professionally. From what we can see, there’s been consistent communication and support throughout.
We understand this situation has been frustrating, but we’re confident the rest of your event will be absolutely fantastic. Our team has worked hard behind the scenes to make sure everything else runs smoothly, and we can’t wait for you and your group to enjoy a brilliant experience.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. We’re looking forward to making sure the rest of your celebration is every bit as special as you planned.

I've used Groupia to arrange a hen party last year, and I've just booked with them again.
They've been super helpful and patient. Trying to please 15 people is hard, but we managed to get a quote everyone was happy with. That was all down to the team at Groupia.
