Been with ic24 since 1997, and all the other companies that it has been since. A real shame to see that loyalty end. Totally shocking service, not even worth one star. Emails are banned to Microsoft servers, tickets are not read. And they want us to pay for this shambles!

Appalling. If I could give zero I would. I’ve been unable to use my email address since being migrated from plus net. I cannot reply to emails. The chatbot repeatedly gives me the same (useless) information over and over again. The “person” on line when I request to communicate to somebody is equally useless. I’m now unable to log into my Web mail account completely (having been able to previously) but of course there’s no one to request assistance of and no one to complain to. Avoid this company like the plague.

I was migrated from a very reliable plusnet account to Greenby some months ago. Greenby have no record of my login details and plusnet are not helpful because I have left them. Attempts to contact through live chat have been attempted but I am unable to find live chat. I am using my gmail account increasingly. Greenby is not a long term viable option. I am migrating all of my contacts and communication to gmail. Diabolical when it is free and definitely not worth paying for.
Migration a complete disaster
Migration a complete disaster. Crashed the same day and when I reset up in outlook using the Greenby Server Settings just froze. Supot has gone from the best in the business to can only describe as a joke.After 30 years with Force9/Plusnet only option left is to ditch them completly and move to a supplier who knows what they are doing.
PLUSNET for 20 years, no more.
I have been with PLUSNET for almost 20 trouble free years, then they decided to let go of their email service, and moved it to Greenby.com. BIG PROBLEM, they didn't keep my "saved mail", so all the reminders, warranties along with many other very important emails have gone. I rang Plusnet and was told they no longer hold my emails as they were sent to Greenby.com. It's almost impossible to contact them as being a cloud based company only there is no one to talk to. So I am going to move to another broadband company as Plusnet are no longer a safe bet.

A disaster
Fourteen years of fantastic service using Plusnet broadband phone and email.Disaster when was forced to move emails from them .Used their suggestion of Greenby as all details were going to be automatically transferred and everything would just carry on as before. Plusnet my account and my outlook mailbox froze. Takes an age to find emails in Greenby website.Spent hours going round in circles with their unhelpful chat box trying to fix it. Can't waste anymore time going nowhere so I have changed my email address and,once I have updated all my accounts, I cant wait to leave Greenby. Very disappointerd with both Plusnet and Greenby.

Today 11/3/2026 i have received the mail confirming that The migration of my email has been successfully completed from PlusNet & it is only today i find out that after 30days there will be a £15 a month charge if i want to keep my email live i was never told about this charge until today not by PlusNet or greenby this is a joke i have also tried to get to speck with someone at greenby there is no phone number & the chat/ticket service is a total joke with no connection to a person waiting a very long time they don't make things easy for customers to get in touch now this has been my domain email address & to contact all my contact & business that have this email as my contact will be a nightmare to change I'm going to raise a complaint if it is not as difficult as when trying to contact them this is not fair to customers that have been with PlusNet for many many many years with out having to pay.
Awful worst service in my life
Awful worst service in my life. Nothing works. You pay for the service yet you can’t telephone anyone. You have to use stupid chat bots which are so annoying and crap. Why would anyone pay such a poor service??? I can get better service same price and can contact someone 24/7. Please don’t come over to this company GREENBY should be shutdown, absolutely not fit for purpose. A nd the charge you money for worst customer service and experience. Nothing works and no amount e to help yet they still want your money !!!!!!!
Plusnet falling by the way side.
Like most users we have been with Plusnet, in my case Metronet for more years than I can remember.` As we all know Plusnet wanted to concentrate on broadband and drop email support. Thats when it alll went wrong. I got moved to Greenby but the login always showed Roundcube. Never did find why. So, my recent experience was suddenly I could not access webmail for Metronet. Spoke to a human at Plusnet who managed to get me logged into Greenby but then found my email box showed "Mail Box Disabled". Using the Greenby chat line and after 24hrs my email came back and to my surprise I was still able to go to Plusnets web mail page and was able to log into my Metronet account. But any emails that had come in over the previous 4 days were lost for ever. Yes when Plusnet stated they were doing away with email support I changed to a new provider so the majority of my emails I get but some still come via Metronet. More determined now to get all my contacts switch to my new email address and then I can forget Greenby. Good luck every one.
Too many messages moved to Spam
Fed up with messages being moved into "spam" - never had this problem with Plusnet. I prefer to decide for myself and not to have to remember to check to see if there is something in "spam" even when I have set rules.

Dealing with the pluses first. I have been getting huge amounts of spam and Plusnet were unable to help me as they had not upped their spam filters as they knew that Greenby were going to be taking over their emails. Spam filtering is much improved, not perfect, but definitely improved. However webmail on Greenby is incredibly slow to load, I cannot access it on my iPad or my iPhone and the only suggestions when I raise a ticket is that I need to reboot my devices - this has not worked. I have been without emails and looking at the reviews I am not the only one. I feel badly let down by Plusnet, I have been a loyal Plusnet customer for many years and Greenby are just not good enough. Customer service with Plusnet was exemplary, Greenby is appalling, you cannot speak to anyone as they are an American company and raising a 'ticket' is a complete waste of time. I would change email provider, but the whole hassle is putting me off, however there is absolutely no way I would be prepared to pay for this level of service. If it does not improve when charges come in I will most certainly leave.

I have had the same experience as everyone else. Lost folders, unanswered requests for help and today the site won't even let me into my account. If there isn't an organised complaints group there should be.
Plusnet’s disastrous decision
Why Plusnet chose this company to migrate email services to is a mystery. It’s done for Plusnet’s reputation. Whole file boxes go missing, my Sent box has disappeared, deleted messages keep coming back etc, etc Avoid under all circumstances.
Greenby email is utter crap
Greenby email is utter crap, I have had nothing but problems since they took over Plusnet email. I have spent hours trying to put things right but still the problems keep coming. I am locked out of web mail even though my sign in worked last time, if I could give it no stars I would. The trouble is it's major hassle to move to another provider, it all worked perfectly until greenby got their hands on it.

I have been with Greenby for less than 2 months and have had nothing but problems. I didn't have a problem with Force9, or PlusNet who took over from them, in 25 years. How could such a reliable service go so wrong. Shame on Plusnet for poor due diligence for their customers.
Same as everyone else, credentials that change themselves automatically, inability to connect to their servers for more than a day without dropouts, meaningless or irrelevant responses by customer service agents (including a generic "you need to change your password" to each problem) and worst of all, an utter inability to accept that there actually is a problem. The Customer is King ? yeah right !
Tried to make me subscribe to "Just Answer" when reporting a problem at their end
Migrated from Plusnet a month ago, apparently successfully, but today all our mailboxes disappeared from my Greenby account webpage - definitely looks like a problem at their end. Tried to report the fault using their chatbox which transferred me to a page to enter my credit card details to subscribe to "JustAnswer", which I certainly don't want. This has to be a scam? This looks like an awful company to have to deal with.

Yet another server outage. Can't wait for them to start sending out notifications they want to start charging for hosting my email address. Not a penny of mine will they get.
