I used GotoVan for a delivery from the UK to Portugal and it was one of the most stressful experiences I've had with any courier.
My original parcel, containing over £1,000 of professional equipment, was not delivered as arranged. When I chased it, the resolution offered was a refund of the £73 I'd paid plus £50 compensation. That is £123 offered against belongings worth more than a thousand pounds. For equipment I depend on for my livelihood, that felt dismissive.
I then arranged a redirected delivery. It was scheduled and missed twice, first on 17 August, then pushed to 24-25 August, with my parcel sitting in their hands for weeks in between. Every delay came from their side: capacity, routing. Never a proactive update. Every step forward came from me chasing them.
What frustrated me most was the attitude. When I raised the problems, the response amounted to "there's little we can do, just wait." No urgency, no ownership, no sense that a customer's belongings mattered. I was left not knowing where my property was for long stretches.
The parcel did eventually arrive. But getting there took weeks of stress, repeated chasing, and a level of uncertainty about my own belongings that I would not wish on anyone. If you are shipping anything valuable or time-sensitive, I would think very hard before trusting it to this company.

I used GotoVan a few months ago to send a parcel from Spain to London with all the Spanish goodies I miss living in the UK—jamón serrano, cheese, honey, pipas, and other treats that are difficult to find here. The whole experience was excellent from start to finish.
Domingo was fantastic to deal with. He kept in touch throughout the process and even called me a couple of times to make sure everything was going smoothly. My mum needed a little help placing the order, so I helped her and Domingo was helpful, and made everything very easy for me to booked it correctly!
The communication was outstanding, the parcel arrived safely and in perfect condition, and the service was reliable throughout. I'm very happy with the experience and will certainly be using GotoVan again. Highly recommended!
