Ordered Boox Tab Ultra C, tax issue quickly resolved
I just ordered a Boox Tab Ultra C from Good e-Reader. Shipping was prompt (it's just been released) and arrived a day earlier than the estimated arrival date.
There was a mix-up with their system, I was charged for sales tax (their website clearly says any tax is the responsibility of the buyer when the device arrives in their home country), DHL also charged me sales tax when clearing the device in to Canada.
I left a voice message and email (using their website) to get the sales tax reversed (otherwise I was paying it twice). Jon from shipping responded within an hour and requested receipt of DHL charges. I provided this and an hour later the duplicate taxes were refunded.
Jana from Sales also contacted me (probably because I left voice message and send message from their website).
Very quick response and fix, great service!

Yes i was refunded (by paypal dispute, not by merchant. This merchant refused to refund). I provided you the order number. Not a fake review (351361) Refunding money is not the point of this review. Stop talking about money. You have so many reviews saying you didnt send products or sending damaged products. I have a reason why i think you are a fake site. I cant even check my order status on your website. Hundreds of reviews saying you are fake. I still think you are fake.
I placed order somewhere else right after this happening.

Bad service customers experience
They are incredibly unprofessional. They don't charge the import duties so you have to pay a lot more for receiving the product. The service department is terrible they don't give you any alternative. It is a scam company!

Very rude and impolite customer…
Very rude and impolite customer service, I contacted them for a delayed delivery of a product for a month, Jon from logistics or customer service accused me and told me that I am a thief stealing them!!! Later they discovered that their shipping company has delays. How can a customer service insult a customer asking about the product which he paid for!!! Very unprofessional!!

Good E Reader may be a scam
Ordered the Boox Tab X from the site on the 28th of March. Being my first time ordering from the shop and only knowing the company from their YouTube channel, I trusted that I would recieve my E Reader within a couple of weeks. The website had an estimate of 3-5 business days to process. Well, it stll has yet to ship 14 days later. I have contacted them several times and they keep pushing back the expected ship date and telling me to "be patient" and that they are "efficiently processing my order". I am worried I was scammed. I asked for a refund and they stopped replying. Buy from any where but Good E Reader. They are not honest about their times and have dismal customer service. After telling them I wanted a refund, I stopped getting replies.
If something changes, my review will change. It really bothered me that the ONLY way to communicate with them was through Facebook Messenger. No phone number and they do not seem to reply through emails.

Incredibly poor customer service
After receiving an order confirmation, I heard nothing for a number of days. After repeated inquiries with no response, I finally received a replay that my order had been refunded the previous year. With this incoherent reply, my credit card company started the process of cancelling my order. I immediately received a reply that my order had shipped and was told to drop the request to cancel or I would face legal action. I did get the unit (a relief) so I gave them two stars rather than one. In short, avoid this site, they are at best incompetent.
Finally, as you can see from the companies reply, they don't take customer seriously. A little snark is all you get.

Customer service needs more work.
Just wanted to share my experience buying an e-reader. Decided to buy Pocketbook Era with them because of a great Youtube channel. Felt more trustworthy then other stores. Before I placed the order communications was very promt via email. Got a bit frustrated that they don't list dispatch time frames. Only after I placed the order i have been told they might dispatch it with in a week. After a week I was stating to get frustrated with unresponsive support and requested to cancel the order. As soon as I did that I got an email stating that they can't cancel it because it was shipped already. But they could not give me a tracking number yet. I've waited almost another week and keep asking if the trucking number is available. No response. Only after a told them if I don't get tracking number i'll have to treat it as a fraudulent charge, they quickly send me the trucking number. I'm in Australia and I was shipped from they HK warehouse with Yanwen Express. Yanwen espress tracking only worked only till it arrived to Sydney and afterward again tracking has stuck with no updated for a week. I again was frustrated thinking that shipping company lost my e-reader and I have no way of contacting the Yanwen Express. Email and phone listed on their websites are dead ends. Well, e-reader arrived and i'm very happy with it. I can't really buy Pocketbook Era in Australia directly. I wish someone would keep local stock here but oh well......
All in all, if you decide to buy from Good e-Reader be prepared to deal with slow shipping a spotty support replies. Feel like the only was to get a promt responce is to threaten to cancel order or back-charge it with your bank. I also wish for them to use a better shipping company. Yanwen just feels dodgy. I also wish for them to publish dispatch and shipping estimates on their website. It's OK to be slow but it's worse not having anything at all. Those guys are not a scam but customer service is lacking.
What a rip off
What a rip off, I wanted to return the item I bought as it did not suit my needs. I made sure it had all the original packaging and was in factory setting condition.
THEY DO NOT REFUND ONCE YOU HAVE OPENED THE BOX..... DON'T BUY FROM THEM!!!!

After the many negative reviews, I actually wanted to cancel my order because I never thought that my Yoga Paper would ever arrive. I was taught a better one. Communication via email and Facebook worked very quickly and I received the delivery earlier than expected.

Horrible post sales experience.
After I at least 10 emails begging them to respond me for a pen that cae without a not, wrong color, and a set of 5. Nib that came shot of two and without box (all packed in a tiny plastic bag), horrible package tracking experience . And sent from overseas (even though I purchased in the us store).
They reached out to me transferring the responsibility(inquiry ) to another department who took days to respond something totally wrong and off because they did not read the emails properly. Also, they did no provide any sort of reimbursement.
Only after I was very rude to them some random person joined the conversation threatening me of ignoring my emails if I kept using !!!ñ and rude words. Still….. without assuming responsibility and blaming another store for the problems of ven though I did no purchase there!!!!
These guys are incredibly bad, dales srvice horrible, shipping service awful, basically stole my money in my face and did not care!
Product not delivered for over 3 months, no communication attempts or tracking
I ordered the product the product, an E-paper tablet on 3rd October 2022. There was no info or communication or tracking except that the product shipped after approximately 10 days. When i tracked my order, it redirected me to Fedex page which said there is no record of such shipment number, then I got concerned and contacted the customer support on the GOOD E-READER website but there was no response from them even after contacting 2 times. Somehow through trial and error i got to know that aramex is handling the shipment, when I contacted Good E Reader again on November 22 and they replied this time and said “Please contact FEDEX and clear your package”. But there is no shipment of such number on Fedex. Then I said the same to Good E Reader but they didn’t reply to my mails atleast 3 times and when they did they said to send the message in NO CAPS and since then there has been no reply. They are not genuine because if they were they would reply and reply with correct and concrete information not misguide concerned customers. Its been 3 months and I still and cant track my order and whenever I open my order it always says “Your order has been picked up by FEDEX on December 20, 2022. Your track code is ************.” The date is always what you open the order on, in this instance it is dec 20 as I opened it on that date.
I’ve tried to contact them countless times with whatever medium I could they haven’t replied at all with anything helpful instead they are misguiding. I checked their facebook page and despite being such a big company in their field, I have read many reviews of customers with similar grievances of the product not getting delivered. They are a company but THEY SCAM THEIR CUSTOMERS.
Guys this is the update.
I cannot believe their AUDACITY.
NO PRODUCT WAS DELIVERED AT ALL. IF AT ALL ITS LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE IT TAKES 3-5 DAYS TO SHIP. THE PRODUCT WAS SHIPPED ON 10 OCT AND THEN NEVER DELIVERED. IF THEIR REPLY WAS GENUINE THEY WOULD HAVE ANSWERED EACH ALLEGATION BUT THEY DIDN'T BECAUSE EVERY THING I SAID IS ONE HUNDRED PERCENT TRUE. I CAN EVEN SHARE THE ONLY INFORMATIVE MAIL THEY SENT ME STATING THAT THE PACKAGE HAS BEEN UNFORTUNATELY DESTROYED, KINDLY CONTACT SHIPPER.
DESPITE SCAMMING YOUR CUSTOMERS YOU WANT YOUR REPUTATION TO BE GOOD SO THAT YOU CAN CONTINUE SCAMMING.
IF YOU WERE GENUINE YOU WOULD HAVE REPLIED ME INSTEAD, NOT COME OUT ON A PUBLIC PLATFORM BECAUSE A CUSTOMER ACCUSED YOU.
GOOD E READER IS GOING TO PAY DEARLY, EVEN IF I DONT GET THE MONEY BACK I AM NOT GOING TO FORGET THIS EVER. THIS ISNT ABOUT THE MONEY BUT THE TIME AND EFFORT I PUT INTO RESEARCHING, BUYING AND THEN INTO RETRIEVING THE MONEY BACK SOMEHOW WHICH I AM UNSUCCESSFUL AT.

Good e-reader has exceptional customer service. I was worried about not getting my product in time so I sent an inquiry on the status. I explained I needed it by an important date. Within a few days Good e- reader shipped the Kindle, and it is on route to my home arriving before the date I needed it.
Jana and Katherine Lock-head handled my request thoroughly and made sure communications were clear and in a professional manner. The email took overnight to resolve the issue. I was shocked. Good e-reader has restored the frustration I have to deal with online customer service. My first purchase with Good e-readers was slightly more costly, but you can guarantee customer service will have your back. I will be a loyal customer from here on out. I got respect and a sense of urgency with this transaction, Jana and Katherine thank you for being considerate employees and being right to the point without hassle. You both deserve an early Christmas break. Enjoy your holiday, you made my family’s much sweeter.

Silence after paying
Update: after several mails and messages via the chat, I received my money! Problem solved!
I ordered a orange case for my Onyx Boox Note Air 2 Plus. It was in stock at the shop. They would send it within 3-6 days. After 8 days I asked the status of my order. It would be sent within the week.
After 2 weeks I received an email: the orange one was out of stock, if I would have the green one!!
I said no, and wanted a refund. After another 2 weeks, no refund or reaction whatsoever...
That's my biggest point: slow reaction, or no reaction at all! And I want my money back...
