Good Elf Omdömen 

I had a horrible experience with another Christmas tree company and so I ordered a tree from Good Elf at the last minute. They were able to give me next day delivery (in central London) and the delivery man was kind and very helpful. The tree is obviously freshly cut and has not been sitting wrapped up in netting for weeks. I would definitely order from Good Elf again

Engaged GE to put some lights on a large tree in the garden. Several people had come and told us this was not possible but from the start Jay had a “can do” attitude . He was responsive , clear and interpreted what we wanted very well. The job involved 5 people and two cherry pickers , and was conducted on a filthy weekend with pouring rain all day . They arrived on time , had a fantastic attitude , a great sense of humour and cleaned up perfectly. The price was fair for the work involved , they had to come back and finish off which they did with no problem . Overall we are delighted , great company to deal with and we can recommend them .

Cancelled tree 2 days before delivery and just over a week before Christmas with a jocular email - no explanation for cancellation and no reply to complaint. Was third year ordering from them but absolutely terrible service and zero care for customer means it is the last. Would not recommend from my experience and wouldn’t even score it a one star.

Tried to contact when our tree wasn’t delivered as we were going away and would be here to receive it. Left 2 voice msg, 2 emails and msg through site no one has bothered to reply. Left outside door 3 days late.

Our Christmas Lunch Party was held yesterday- first time ever without a Christmas Tree!
No one replied to my email messages sent during the week asking about the whereabouts of the tree.

However, have now had an reply to my Answerphone message left this morning cancelling the order and asking for a refund:
Their response:
‘I feel your message is strong considering I have done my utmost to get you your tree on time’
and
‘We don’t guarantee delivery dates’

I’m offered a 10 percent discount for ‘inconvenience’

I ordered, paid for and recieved confirmation for delivery the next day of a tree and stand.
On the day of delivery, nothing turned up.
The thing is with Christmas trees you are running out of time, the kids and family are unhappy because they were all dying to decorate the tree and it was supposed to be the centre piece . This meant I needed to find one fast the next day from another supplier.

We ordered 2 trees, one 5 foot "non drop" and 1 small one in a pot. The small one was left off the delivery manifest, then lost, and the promised replacement was finally cancelled because they could not find one/ be bothered finding one. The non drop is shedding needles and is totally uneven: one side is regular nice branches, the other side is shorter branches and the difference is very obvious. Luckily it is going against a wall anyway. We will not very ordering from these Elves again! So gutted and disappointed. Ultimate irony is that their customer service person is called a Customer Happiness Elf!!

Great customer service and always willing to go an extra mile to satisfy their clients. I highly recommend Goodelf.

Excellent service and high quality tree as always, coming from a returning customer of 3 years. Ordered a 8ft non-fall which was delivered on date requested with stand, lights and red/gold decorations. Easy, stress free experience and one less thing to worry about.

Very disappointing tree - filthy dirty, dry and infested with flies. The customer service was the worst I’ve ever encountered - rude and dismissive. I would never purchase a Christmas tree from this company again - it was an expensive mistake.

Fantastic service! We usually choose our own tree, but due to shielding because of my daughter having a heart disorder, we were unable to. We ordered a 6 foot tree on Saturday 28th Nov, and it was delivered first thing the next day, as requested! The delivery driver was friendly and cheerful, and wearing a Christmas hat! The tree was beautiful, fresh, healthy and pretty much what we would have chosen ourselves. Over 2 weeks later it still looks fresh and brand new and smells so Christmassy. I would not hesitate to buy from them again. 10/10. Thank you, elves!

Good Elf has now delivered and picked up our Christmas Tree for several years now. This year I requested a change in the delivery date at the very last minute not thinking they would be able to but they did and we have yet another beautiful tree

The guys from good elf came and delivered a wonderful Christmas tree to my house on Friday. Unfortunately it was a bit too large for us so they kindly returned with a smaller tree the next day. Great customer service. Thanks to all your super elves 👍👍👍

Oh how I wish I had read these reviews first! The 7ft tree I received has a tall spike of 18ins which rises 12 ins above the main tree. which means the tree is actually 6ft with a 12ins spike at the top! Looks absurdly small by comparison to our usual standard. I am so disappointed as it was quite expensive but I thought I would get a good service. So much for Christmas Spirit by Good Elf. I have written and complained. I wonder if there is a Christmas tree ombudsman..

My wife ordered a 6ft Christmas tree.
Would have been 5ft 6in had it not been damaged in delivery.
Top 'fairy' spike had been snapped off.
Tree was then 5ft, and useless;
and, we are saddled with the expense of disposal.
No response to email or to 'phone calls.
This has been an expensive mistake.
DO NOT even consider buying a tree from these charlatans.

Ordered online & they took my payment & confirmed for Sunday 1st Dec delivery. Appropriate day selected for obvious reasons. Then receive an email saying they won’t deliver until Tuesday. Ignore my response that they either waive delivery charge or work with me to find an appropriate day, but they were only too willing to dump it outside the house at their convenience. Tree stand is meant to hold water but leaks straight out the bottom. Ridiculous Elf.

Paid £30 to have tree collected but this never happened - have chased via email and telephone many times but no response. Do not use this company.

Still waiting for collection when you have rescheduled 4 times!!! We paid £30 for collection and still have a dead tree in the office 2 weeks later! Every time i chase this up there is no one available to take the call. Terrible service.

Still no tree or refund. Following on from previous review it is now 27th Dec and the tree never arrived and I have never been contacted about it. Called yet again to be told yet again that someone will call back tomorrow. Shocking that they can get away with this practice.
