Good Elf Omdömen 

We loved the idea of renting a tree from Good Elf. Saves trees from being arbitrarily cut down and stops us from buying a plastic tree.
Unfortunately they never arrived to pick up the tree on the arranged date. When I attempted to call Good Elf, the phone number did not work. I emailed instead and was told their contractor had "missed this" and would collect on Friday. There was no discussion to arrange collection, and they never asked if we would be available, nor were we given a time frame for collection.
For £129 for a 2ft tall tree, the whole process has been ridiculous. Absolutely do not recommend this company to anyone.

Please read the reviews before ordering from this company. Complete let down and kept promising collection. Awful communication and now we are stuck with a tree they refuse to collect

We have had an outdoor tree from Goodelf for the last 5 years or so and as always this years tree is just beautiful.
This year we also ordered an indoor tree along with garlands for our reception area. These were also of great quality and beautifully decorated.
Trees were delivered when promised and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and attentive to detail.
We will absolutely continue to buy from Goodelf and have no hesitation in recommending them.

Once again the good elves deliver a beautiful tree for me!

Ordered a tree, and at the last minute was sent 2 emails telling me my tree was no longer available.

I've responded to both emails and have yet to receive any response.

Useless!

So they finally got back to me, and despite having asked if I wanted a replacement and me telling them that I did, they've instead issued a refund.

Really terrible experience, won't try them again!

The tree arrived with the stand missing, the courier seemed clueless and didn't even know what company he was delivering for. I had to go out and buy a new stand.

The tree is a nice shape but absolutely filthy, covered in fallen leaves and mud.

I do not recommend especially if you are an office with nowhere to shake out/stamp the tree to get all of the composting leaves out of it....

I overpaid for the Christmas tree stand (£40 with them and £20 on eBay) just so that it would arrive with the tree I ordered from them and when it arrived the packaging was torn and bolts were missing making the stand unusable so I can't put my tree up. Emailed customer service and I got no response, would not use this company again.
Their delivery service is not great either, I wouldn't have left a bad review just for the poor delivery service but that combined with the over priced tree stand not working is enough for me to gather that this company does not care about their customers experience.

I ordered a tree and got confirmation of shipment for the date requested. Then the tree was never delivered and they now say they are closed until Christmas 2024 ! 100 Pounds lost. No Refund. This is the worst company ever.

I’m not normally one to write a review but I have just received my Christmas Tree from Goodelf, the customer service was exceptional, delivery was when it said it was going to be and the tree is beautiful….so impressed I recommend to all.

Great Service and beautiful tree, Thomas brought me my big 9ft tree this morning (no ladder needed) and I couldn't be more impressed. The tree is great quality and the decorations look like they were in a Christmas catalogue.

Ordered a 9ft tree to be delivered with installation on the 9th December.
Received an email that it would be delivered on the 8th. I replied reiterating it was for th 9th as I needed installation (paid extra for)
no one replied
went for a dog walk and just came back to a 5ft tree dumped on my doorstep.

two years ago we used them and I waited in all day and all that appeared was a tree stand. cancelled the order and then 3 days after Christmas a tree turned up.

I had no choice this year as our preferred company had no trees left

they asked if I would keep the 5ft tree with a discount.

AWFUL COMPANY DO NOT USE!!

No tree delivered! Awful customer service. Avoid
Ordered a potted tree to be delivered on the 5th Dec, waited in for said tree and by 3.30pm decided to call for an eta to be told my order was cancelled? Couldn't tell me when the order was cancelled on their 'system' and Moira couldn't have cared less that I didn't get the supposed email notification for the cancellation. Not offered any alternative or even an apology for the inconvenience. Told I would be refunded in 3-5 days, got email to advise refund in 10days. Used them for our work tree - but not getting our business next year!

Awful company
Tree due Fri 01/12 did not arrive due to 'broken down van' then rearranged for 04/12, did not arrive 'due to traffic' we then requested AM on Tues 05/12 it still did not arrive. We finally gave up and asked for a refund on Tues eve, no response and we await our refund before taking further action.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Tree arrived 3 days late without apology or explanation. Also arrived with no lights! Very poor customer service when I called to ask where it was!

My tree was meant to be delivered on Sunday 3rd Dec and didn't turn up. I called first thing Monday morning and they didn't seem to care and said they could deliver it Tuesday, I emailed them later on Monday to confirm and they (Chris) said and I quote "Hi Yvonne - as i confirmed earlier your order is out for delivery tomorrow to you. - Merry Christmas! - Chris (Elf-in-Chief)" It is now 2pm Tuesday, I have just called and they (Moira) has said they can get it to me Wednesday. They are unreliable, don't use them. I have asked for a refund, lets see how long that takes. I will update that information here honestly. They have absolutely ruined what should be an enjoyable experience. They should be ashamed of themselves. I had to rate 1 star as that is the lowest but they don't even deserve that.
