A decent site to find a round of good value golf.
I have been using golf18 for a couple of years and have achieved life time fee free status. While I like the site and have recommended the site to other golfers, there are 2 areas that need improvement. They are:
1. There are not enough of golf course choices in area where I live.
2. The rewards program needs some serious revamp. There are no higher level of rewards after 50 bookings and it counts as 1 booking whether you have 1 or 4 players. It should create a program based on person rounds played, and the reward of $150 is achieved when one has 75 person rounds. There should also be levels of 100, 125 and 150 person rounds. This can encourage more players per booking as well as more frequent bookings.
If they can imrove on the 2 areas, then they can become more competitive with the other big site.

Great billing practice
I made online bookings thru their website. Due to change of plan, I had to call the course to cancel the bookings. Unfortunately, the course made a mistake and did not cancel the bookings, and I was charged for no show. I reported to Golf18. This issue was investigated, resolved and refunded within two days. Great service!

a trustworthy site & gives good prices. my wife & i travel about 4 times a year & play golf n 5 r 6 different states every year. we r trying 2 play n all 50 states & golf18 gives gives good coures for u r location.

Bad Business
You charged me (upfront) for your reservation services. The only problem was the course does not have an agreement with you and therefore charged me full price. The $16+ you charged me was just lost money.

Golf 18 is an ok app for finding good deals on very mediocre courses. It would be a great app if better courses were available to choose from.
