Whether it was through the GoGet online website or on my iPhone App, I found their Booking system user-friendly and easy to lock in a day/time(s) for a vehicle. My experience was convenient and accessible when I needed a car as well as locating one near my residence - which saved me time and money. Highly recommend.

So this is clearly a company that has NOT evolved well with the times and the shift to AI-generated attempts at “service”.

What happened, GoGet? When I arrived in Sydney 15 years ago without a car, this service was ingenious and effective. Innovative in its inception, superb in execution. I was singing this company’s praises and recommending to everyone.

Now, in 2023 I find myself without a car and the best word I can find to describe GoGet is “useless”. The cars are over-priced, dirty and unsafe. And the service is abominable; quite possibly the most user-unfriendly app I’ve ever come across (painfully slow and absolutely NEVER providing solutions to issues, just endless FAQs) and a simply hopeless AI-bot run “service” masquerading as “Contact Us”.

Three days ago, I found myself in a fundamentally unsafe GoGet vehicle on the motorway and I am STILL trying to file a complaint about this – and get my report acknowledged. Meanwhile, I am being sent repeated invoices for this unsafe experience and my account is suspended.

You need to go back to 2011, GoGet. Delete your current “system” and re-design from the bottom up. What you have just now simply doesn’t work.

I have been an adamant supporter of this car-share scheme and an active member for several years. Recently however I received a $120 parking penalty notice which subsequently devolved into an extraordinary experience bordering on the Kafka-esque!
Goget claimed we had not returned the vehicle to its allocated parking-space and had incurred a parking-penalty notice. However what Goget failed to mention (until I raised the issue having seen the penalty photos) was that Goget's valet service had attended the vehicle some 14 hours after we returned the vehicle and 22 hours before a penalty was issued. The vehicle had been moved 1 car length forward from where we left it and had very obviously been cleaned. Both of which assertions were vehemently denied by Goget's Member Service Adivisor(s). What followed was 2 months of aggravation, delay and obfuscation, where I was passed from one Member Service Adivisor to another (total 3) and wasted hours of my time arguing with Goget and NSW Transport to first appeal and then extend the penalty time, until Goget finally provided the valet-logbook which confirmed my first assertion - that the vehicle had been interfered with in the interim.
The result of all this is that Goget ultimately paid the penalty (didn't refund the $25 'adminstration fee' though) at the last minute, which I only realised when NSW Transport sent a message confirming payment.
My take-away lesson from this saga and advice to all members is to document (photo) the state and location of the vehicle when returned...if you intend to remain a member.

We sold a car and before buying a new one decided to try GoGet. It is much more convenient than owning a car! There is a vehicle just 4 min away from our place. It is very easy to use and it is much cheaper for us than owning

We gave up car ownership in 1992 and rarely regretted it. Now when we need a car, we GoGet one.

The only hassle is that the car is not parked at our door, but a short bus ride away. Not a problem.

GoGet deserves to be one of Australia's most successful companies as it is bringing the future into the present.

Saves us literally thousands of dollars.

The website and app are so user-friendly. There are so many vehicles to suit your needs, whether for one hour or a couple of days.
Last-minute cancellations are so good.
I would not hesitate to recommend GoGet to friends and family.

Convenient locations, usually clean, variety of models so they have many uses.

We no longer own a car. Goget does our weekly shopping trip and the occasional all day visit to family and friends. Living in Glebe means we can use public transport for most other things. And there's always a parking spot!

We've been members of GoGet for over a decade, and now are eligible for the GoGet Senior plan, which saves a lot. There are three cars within two blocks of our flat, and the closest one is a Toyota Corolla Hybrid. We book it most of the time because it makes us feel that we're doing just a bit more for the climate crisis.

The car that I've always dreamt of driving -- at an affordable rate.

Grabbing that tag, the handbag and heading for places I've always wanted to be -- priceless.

GoGet is such a great service. Easy to use, good value for money and transparent

I used a brand new phone number to call their customers services ( the worst customer services there is, located in India) and didn't call anybody else after that. The very next day, I start receiving scammer phone call from India.
They were the only one to have my new number, if you need to call them, you can expect to received scam call the very next day.

Goget has many pod locations. They answer calls almost instantly unlike popcars where you can be on hold for more than 30 minutes. Goget cars are exactly where they are marked. Unlike popcars, their cars are never at the correct GPS locations, which is rather time consuming and frustrating. Goget is 100% reliable!

Convenient locations to pick up a van, made moving house so much easier, being able to shift most stuff ourselves with the help of the GoGet Van

Had a great experience with my first GoGet booking ( there was some delay with the application but once I spoke to them on the phone it was resolved quickly.

Simplicity, ease of access, value for money and vehicle condition.
