4 hours first time, had to defer because exam expired and i couldn't even do it. had to defer, another 2 hours of "help" got nowhere. absolutely useless for the one purpose of this thing

0 stars if I could. My university confirmed over and over in email, letter, phone that I was registered to take the exam. ProctoU couldn't find me in their system. Stole my money for registering and I still couldn't write. Will charge me for rescheduling. Spent over 2 hours trying to get help to log in to write. Wasted a whole day. Schools should stop using this platform. Sketchy they can access your computer too.

0 stars they are thefts, they steal, they tell you the total is 31.00 and now 44.00 taking out of my account.. they stole money yet again... they cancelled my exam yesterday and never told me I had to pay again.. which resulted in me failing.. I busted y ss off and now I failed.. They have no sympathy., The tech said I am restarting your computer, Ill be on the computer when it re starts.. LIESSSSSSSS I ENDED UP CALLING BCK 17 TIMES FROM NOON YESTURDAY TO 11:46 PM.. BACK ON THE PHONE TODAY..

Absolutely woeful. Was locked out of my exam for the entirety of it, and was provided with very little recourse. When I reached out to my university councillor for assistance, they told me they’d been flooded with calls about the exact same issue all night.
Completely beyond me as to how so many institutions have continually used ProctorU for online exams for years despite thousands of bad experiences documented. Have yet to hear of a single positive experience

If I could I would give them below 0! ProctorU's service is abysmal. Catastrophic technical glitches and constant interruptions completely froze my system, preventing my exam. The software is deeply invasive, and I am highly suspicious of the personal data they collect. It is utterly irresponsible for universities to choose such an unreliable and privacy-intrusive platform. Students deserve far better.

Die vorgegebene Startzeit klappt NIE! Es dauert teils über eine Stunde, bis sich ein Proctor einfindet und dann folgen die lächerlichen Überprüfungen.
Während der 6-stündigen Tests häufig willkürliche und aufwendige Überprüfungen: Kameraschwenk und zeigen des kompletten Raums; genaue Beschreibung wo man sich befindet; Fenster schließen; etc. Dass es bei den Tests auf Zeit geht, hat von denen offenbar keiner verstanden.

I genuinely cannot understand why any professional body would use this service.

The proctors were unprofessional, constantly interrupting throughout the exam and creating unnecessary stress instead of providing support. Their behaviour was intrusive and showed a complete lack of understanding of their role. Communication was poor, with limited English skills, and rather than helping, they made the experience far worse.

Their conduct ruined not only my exam but also my day. It is unacceptable that such an important process is entrusted to people who are clearly undertrained, disrespectful, and lacking in professionalism.

Awful company and service ! Rude customer support and embarrassing provider... I wasted hours with them and they didn't allow me to finish my exam blaming my spotless connection

Ich studiere an der IU und bin gezwungen, ProctorU für meine Onlineklausuren zu nutzen. Eigentlich will ich doch nur endlich meine Prüfungen ablegen, aber das ist seit Wochen unmöglich. Jedes Mal wird meine Prüfung automatisch abgegeben, bevor ich überhaupt anfangen kann. Damit verliere ich wertvolle Zeit und werde in meinem Studium massiv zurückgeworfen.

Ich stehe bereits in engem Austausch mit dem Prüfungsamt, doch bislang gibt es keine Lösung. Es kann nicht sein, dass Studierende aufgrund technischer Mängel so stark behindert werden. Ich fordere dringend, dass diese Probleme endlich behoben werden, ansonsten sehe ich mich gezwungen, rechtliche Schritte einzuleiten.

I am very dissatisfied with the proctoring platform. During my exam, I was interrupted five times and asked to adjust my camera. This was a written exam requiring continuous essay writing, and such repeated interruptions seriously disrupted my train of thought. The camera should have been properly adjusted and confirmed at the beginning of the exam, rather than causing repeated interruptions during the test.

My experience with this organization was disastrous, even traumatic: recurring technical problems with a long interruption, supervisors who distract you every five minutes. I do not recommend Proctor U at all.

As many others have reflected, if I could give zero stars I would. After spending hours and multiple computer restarts trying to access my exam I gave up. They only have one solution to why their system doesn’t work and it’s “your internet connection is bad” even when you test it and it is not. They take over your screen and computer and provide no solution. My final ask after dealing with 6 representatives was “get a new computer”. Are you kidding me? Absolutely abhorrable and sketchy operation. No universities or programs should lower themselves to using this, I’d rather just take a test in person.

Cut off report and threatened to report me to my uni for some inactive software unknown to me very distressing..I will change unis for est of my degree

Abysmal platform to use for test taking. Used it maybe 6-7 times and literally have been delayed taking my test for MINIMUM 1 hour. There’s been a time I recall where I waited 3 HOURS to take ONE test.

I’ve been using proctor U for a year and it always takes over an hour to begin a test because of technical problems on their end. This company needs to shut down. CEO deserves jail time for robbery of my time.

The worst exam platform I’ve used. Unhelpful support, flawed software, and nonsensical protocols. If you're considering ProctorU, take your exam in a test centre to avoid unnecessary burden.

Continuously said my webcam wasn't working when it was. Spent an hour and a half wasting my time and getting disconnected. Sent to a tech who said its working fine, then back to a proctor who said it's not working. never got to take my exam.

worst test taking experience in my entire life

If I could give 0 stars I would. I tried taking the test but there was an error regarding the recording of my camera and connection with the proctor. Mind you, I have verizon wifi so I know its not me. When I tell you guys I went through 7 different agents (who all believed they can fix the problem by taking control, only to lose connection and restart), 2 phone calls and an online 24/7 chat agent just to try to get a refund (which sent me to the same support page I had already tried after explaining the entire issue for the Millionth time). I would never reccomend such product. Wouldn't even be using it if Aceable did not require it to be proctored.

Horrible worst customer service and operating system, I’ve ever worked with. Each time, there was a different freaking problem. Mind you, this was all after passing their equipment test a few times. Horrible, horrible horrible horrible horrible.
