From the initial visit and survey to the quite quick date for the installation the whole process was extremely competent . All members of staff whom i have met or spoken to have been extremely helpful and pleasant and are a credit to the company.

The engineer arrived and completed the boiler service
No issues
The time slots were a little confusing on the website as asks to choose a time slot then a follow up email is sent to advise the engineer will call to arrange for another time
On the day the engineer arrived
just after 9 when I thought it was arranged for the afternoon so not sure I got on with the website but all worked out , amd I was home all day anyway
A lot of information is sent out by email which could be helpful but is a lot to go through as it seems to be in relation to all their services
Would definitely contact again though as feel they are really reliable and trust worthy

Fantastic team and installation
We have had a new gas boiler installed by Glow Heating Services, they removed the old one, fitted new gas piping outside and a lovely new boiler and arranged for the old one to be collected. Engineers Paul and Codie and Electrician Steve who installed our Hive system (which is so easy to control) were absolutely fantastic, clearing up after themselves and making such a neat job of all of the pipes etc and were generally extremely professional throughout the day and we highly recommend them and Glow Heating Services as a company

After care
The team from glow were very professional and friendly the installation went very well I have only given 3 stars because I was not told that the new boiler was not compatible with my shower so as soon as we had the boiler up and running the pressure blew the pipes so we had a waterfall running over electrical cables I phoned glow they sent someone out 2 days later the person looked at it told me I needed to isolate the shower and left. I managed to find a local plumber who isolated the shower and make it safe. The other problem was glow said they would take all the rubbish away I have asked a couple of times but the rubbish is still here. I have no problem with the installation or the guys who carried out the work,

I’m also sorry for the issues you experienced afterwards. We’ve since spoken directly, and I’m glad we’ve been able to work through everything together.
Just to recap for clarity:
I accept responsibility for not picking up that the existing shower wasn’t compatible with the new boiler. I was under the impression it was suitable, but I’ll be double-checking this with the shower supplier moving forward. I’ve also updated our surveying tool so this compatibility check is mandatory on every visit, especially in properties with more than one shower. Your feedback has helped us improve this process so it doesn’t get missed in the future.
After speaking with Alan, the leak he attended was a slow drip and wasn’t causing an electrical risk at the time. He advised that he made you and your son aware the shower shouldn’t be used and isolated it electrically so there was no power at the unit. He had expected to return the following day to replace the shower, but I appreciate this wasn’t clear to you. In hindsight, we should have fully isolated the shower to prevent any chance of the leak worsening. I also appreciate you were already planning a bathroom upgrade, but understand this situation meant bringing that forward.
I arranged for Steve to collect all remaining installation waste, which was completed on 17/11.
I’ve also agreed to complete your next boiler service free of charge as a goodwill gesture.
You now have my direct number if you need anything at all, and I’m more than happy to help.

Great work by the sparkies
The sparkies who installed our hive were great. It was also lovely to see a young apprentice being shown how to do it. They stayed until everything was working, checking that the hive app was loading and that the settings on the boiler were correct. Thanks and I would definitely use them again.

I cannot fault the work
I cannot fault the work. They were respectful of property with the liberal use of dust sheets and carpet protection, also very thorough with vacuuming and dust containment. The clean up was excellent. The tradesman doing the work were polite, respectful, and obliging. But I have to say not so with the manager/foreman, who walked in and started walking about the house looking around, without any introduction or explanation. I had to go after him and ask him who he was and what he was doing. Not good manners I have to say.
As for the installation itself. It looks great and works very well.
I am also very pleased with the terms of the warranty.
