Glo Renewables Ltd  Omdömen

The end product as as good as promised and delivering more than we expected. They were efficient in assessing our needs and the expertise in setting us up was equally good. Very satisfied with the end result.

If you’re searching for a reliable solar provider in the South West, I can’t recommend GloRenewables enough.

Storm was fantastic from day one. He took the time to really understand my needs and explain all the options in a clear, straightforward way. Nothing felt rushed or confusing—he worked patiently with me through several versions of the plan until we arrived at the best system for my home. His honesty and attention to detail gave me real peace of mind when making such a big investment.

The installation team, led by Dan, were also excellent. They turned up on time, worked efficiently, and were respectful and flexible throughout. I had some unexpected chimney repairs crop up halfway through the install, but the team handled the situation with good humour and professionalism, which made a potentially stressful moment feel easy.

My system has now been running for six months and the difference is clear—I’m saving a significant amount on my bills and already benefiting from export payments.

This is a company that truly cares about its customers, the local community, and the environment. They deliver on every level, and I’m genuinely grateful for the experience.

Storm and his team from Glo Renewables installed our solar panel system 9 months ago and we are extremely pleased with how it has performed. Over the summer months we have hardly paid anything in energy bills and even had a payment for some energy we exported! The advice they gave when discussing our needs prior to installation was spot on.

Great service from Glo-Renewables. 1st met Storm and the Team in early 2024 when they installed a battery storage system to augment our existing Solar Array.
Very professional and thorough, before, during and after installation.
Highly recommended

Two years ago, Storm and Charlie provided an excellent service in providing and installing solar panels, a battery and an EV charger. They explained our options clearly and suggested appropriate solutions for our particular requirements. Their installation was efficient and on-time and they were always cheerful, informative and responsive to our needs. There were teething problems with the equipment but they responded rapidly, kept us fully informed of developments, and ultimately found the necessary solutions.

Recently we there was a little glitch with the system and when I called them, they were on my doorstep within an hour. They analysed the problem (not their fault), identified the fix and all was back up and running in short order.

I would strongly recommend Glo Renewables for the installation of solar panel and EV charger systems.

Having been let down badly by a solar installation company that failed to register the solar panels with the national grid and then couldn’t be contacted, we were faced with the problems of trying to get the matter legally. This was very time consuming and frustrating. We were lucky to have paid for the installation by credit card. The credit card company, after we had provided them with all the relevant documentation, agreed to finance another solar company to make good the problems left by the last one.
We contacted Glo-renewables, a local company, to assess what needed to be done. From the very start they were extremely helpful and also very knowledgeable. They quickly came and assessed the problem and gave us a quote of what needed doing for them to get us connected to the grid. Not only that but they also discovered that the battery storage system was not what was said on the original quote. That quote was forwarded to the credit company and the agreed to cover the cost including upgrading the battery storage system.
I cannot stress how quick and professional this company was. They kept me informed of every step of the process until we were connected. I cannot praise this company highly enough for the support and professionalism they gave me and would more than highly recommend them to any prospective customer wanting solar panel installation. Thank you Glo-renewables.

From start to finish the team were brilliant. They gave us all the information we needed to make informed decisions, the service was excellent, installation very professional and the after support was also excellent.

Glo Renewables are Excellent. If I could score them more than 5 stars, I would.

From the moment we made contact, through their site visit to allow a precise quotation to be provided, through the care and attention to detail given in the installation and through their continued devotion to post installation customer service (including a bit of hand-holding) their service has been nothing short of excellent.

I our case Glo Renewables fitted a solar system with 2 batteries and 2 EV chargers that runs in parallel with an existing solar system. This was important to us as we wanted to preserve the FiT on the existing set up. They advised and assisted on matters relating to the FiT and helped us set up for optimal operation. The system has now been operating successfully for 18 months and for example, last week we exported 275kW of energy!

I do not normally write reviews and I do not give 5 star reviews lightly, but I have no hesitation in recommending Glo Renewables to anyone who may be interested in approaching them and asking for assistance. Just give them a call - it costs nothing and you may just start a relationship which delivers for both parties.

Storm and Charlie were a delight to work with. They added a 13.5 kWh battery to our existing PV system. They spent time talking through different options and the optimal positioning and fitting of the battery. The fitting team were great and equally thoughtful about the best way to fit the system in our old, non-uniform house!

Great service from start to finish. Solar panels and battery system tailored to our property has been running without issue.
Installation is to a very high standard and the after sales support has been exceptional.
I am happy to recommend Glo Renewables.

Quick response & helped me understand our set up a lot better!

I can’t recommend Glo Renewables highly enough. I had already received quotes from other companies but Glo Renewables beat them all hands down and their service is second to none. I’m so grateful the company was recommended to me by my friends.

The solar panels and battery installation is excellent and the team went above and beyond the call of duty and nothing was too much trouble for them. They were exceptionally careful in my home, very tidy work and cleared up after themselves, all to a very high standard, and were so hard-working, very professional and so polite - a real credit to the company. I could not believe how they’d managed to hide the wiring out of sight. You’d really struggle to find another company able to compete on this level. I was kept in the loop at all times, with everything being explained to me as they went along.

Storm was brilliant and so knowledgable and committed, coming out to see me several times before, during and after installation to check I was happy with everything and customer service is even on-going after installation. How many companies offer this?

Honest and reliable. Finished to the highest standard.

5 Stars – Exceptional Service and Quality Installation!

I couldn’t be happier with the solar panel installation carried out by Glo Renewables. From the very first consultation to the final switch-on, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. The team was incredibly knowledgeable, punctual, and respectful of my home throughout the installation.

They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and tailored the system to suit my energy needs perfectly. The panels look great, the system works flawlessly, and I’m already seeing the benefits on my energy bills.

Glo Renewables truly exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend them to anyone considering making the switch to solar. Outstanding work and customer service – thank you!

Solar panels were put up and told what they were doing every step of the way, very tidy and helpful and helped me set it all up thank you all at glo renewables.

Glow were brilliant installing our battery back up system. Other companies we were looking at were looking to install a generic system (which would have been just as expensive and with a lower capacity), but our property and requirements meant that we needed something a little more tailored, which Charlie took time to get right for us. The work done was of good quality and they left the place tidy afterwards. The people doing the work were always polite. The aftercare has been excellent and responsive, with any questions we have answered swiftly. I would use them again and recommend them to others.

We recently had a solar installation completed by Glo Renewables in Totnes, Devon, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The initial quote was clear, detailed, and tailored to our needs, and the team took time to explain everything thoroughly. Their communication throughout the project was consistent and reassuring — we were always kept in the loop and felt confident at every stage.

Despite a few minor challenges along the way, Glo Renewables handled everything efficiently and professionally. They were proactive in finding solutions and clearly committed to delivering a high-quality result. What really stood out was their willingness to go the extra mile, ensuring the system was installed to the highest standard and fully optimised. We couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend them to anyone considering solar.

Gilboys 15 kW Solar Panel Installation - February 2025

We invited three companies to quote for our solar installation.
From the very outset Storm & Charlie from ‘Glo Renewables’ stood out heads above the other companies, and we say this with experience.

The honest and detailed approach from the initial on site consultation gave us enough confidence to know that Glo Renewables were going to be the right company for us to award the contract to.

What is so special about Glo?
Storm, the director of Glo, insisted on an initial on site visit. He took time to consider the best approach for the placement of solar panels and the equipment inside. Not just to make it easy for them to install, but for us, as the end user and owner.

He also calculated that we had enough space on our roof for many more panels than the other companies had said was possible. This came as quite a pleasant shock.

Consideration was also taken for the least amount of drilling and fixing on the outside of the building. Something that no other company had discussed or consulted us on. This meant that there were less holes in our beautiful new workshop, roof and walls. Something we were also very grateful for.

The installation team went about their business professionally and always kept us abreast of any small details relevant to how inverters were positioned or cables placed.

Storm and Charlie were always in contact asking us if we were happy with everything during the installation. They have continued to be in contact many weeks after the system was commissioned. A true sign of how committed ‘Glo’ is to providing not only a good product but also a stand out ‘customer service’.

Well done to all the team at Glo Renewables. I hope as you continue to grow, that this level of customer service also grows with you. This is how you stand out in a very crowded space.
Well done.
