Glo Renewables Ltd  Omdömen

Storm and GLO crew were outstanding. All team members were informative, worked hard and very polite. I researched several local solar companies and found Storm at the helm to be best value for money. I found him very thorough and he still remains helpful. It is never to much bother to keep in touch after the installation. Well done and keep up the good work.

From our first enquiry to the present day, including going live on Grid, the whole process was explained well by Storm. The whole team, from Installers, Scaffolders and Admin Staff have all been friendly and happy to answer any questions.

The installation of the work was started and completed cleanly, to a high standard, and in the allotted time.

We have found Glo Renewables to be a friendly and professional company and we cannot recommend them enough.

Flawless from start to finish – Premium tech installed by true professionals!

If you are looking for a solar installer that combines cutting-edge technical expertise with old-fashioned brilliant customer service, look no further than Glo Renewables. From the very first design consultation to the final commissioning of our system in Cullompton, they have been absolutely outstanding.

I wanted a high-performance, future-proof system, and the engineering team at Glo designed an incredible setup that perfectly maximized our roof potential:

9.97 kW Solar Array (21 ultra-efficient panels)

8 kW Sigenergy SigenStor Hybrid Inverter (EC 8.0SP single-phase)

9.04 kWh Battery Storage (A sleek, beautifully integrated modular tower)

🔧 Impeccable Installation & Workmanship
The on-site installation team was a credit to the company. They arrived exactly when promised, worked meticulously, and took massive pride in the neatness of their cabling and electrical work. There was zero mess left behind, and the SigenStor hardware looks incredibly smart and modern on the wall.

📋 Stress-Free Admin & Grid Approval
As anyone getting solar knows, the grid paperwork can be a total minefield. Glo handled the entire process end-to-end, effortlessly securing our official 8 kW G99 export approval. When the job was done, they handed over a comprehensive, gold-standard documentation pack that contained every single certificate, schematic, and manual needed. Completely transparent and highly professional.

The system is performing flawlessly, generating massive amounts of clean energy and giving us fantastic household self-sufficiency. Glo Renewables completely bypasses the typical cheesy sales tactics of the solar industry and just delivers pure, high-quality engineering.

An absolute 5-star experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Storm and his team at Glo are fantastic, professional and very quick to complete the install. They took great care to review our unique setup and recommend the best solution for us, and turned it around super fast, with great after-sales support from humans. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Excellent design and installation by a friendly and professional team. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Glo Renewables have recently installed a whole host of solar panels on to the roof of our house, plus batteries and EV chargers. Storm and Charlie provided detailed and super useful information from the outset, and were invaluable in guiding us to find the right balance for our home. No question was too much for them and they were always happy to help (and still are post-installation!) Chris and the guys who came to install the panels and equipment were so friendly, hard working and professional. They worked efficiently and went out of their way to ensure their work was of the highest quality. We're absolutely thrilled with the work and immediately saw the positive impact of the solar panels via a huge reduction in our electricity and vehicle fuel bills! Great for the environment and for our bank balance in the long term! Thank you Glo Renewables!

From our initial contact through to the conclusion of the instalation everything was professional and friendly. Glo's proposal was detailed and clear and the efficient and friendly fitting-out team were open to explaining any questions we had. Can't speak highly enough.

I contacted Glo Renewables following the decision to purchase an EV and wanted to find an installer of a GIV Energy charger as I already had a GIV Energy Ecosystem. Having spoken to Storm (Glo Renewables Director) it quickly became apparent he was very knowledgable and passionate about renewables and had a thorough understanding of the sector.

Following a survey, he very promptly provided a quotation and even offered me a 3pin charger to enable me to charge my car up just incase it arrived before he and his team had the opportunity to complete the installation (within two weeks from initial contact). During this period, I asked about additional battery storage, with Storm providing me with a quotation for a new battery, not only this, he advised that one of his clients was selling there nearly new batteries as they were changing their system, so he kindly put me in touch with his client (who also thoroughly recommended Storm). Subsequently, I purchased the second hand batteries and Storm kindly offered to install these at the same time as the EV charger for the cost of half a days labour.

As my previous installer of the GIV Energy system had gone into administration, Storm liaised with GIV to take over the management of my system providing support and updates accordingly (I had been without any support for a couple of years).

Installation day came and the installer (sorry, I can’t remember his name) was excellent and took pride in the installation and to the point that he used a spirit level and tape measure to ensure all three second hand batteries were completely level and equally spaced (something that can’t be said for the original installation completed by my previous installer that went into administration). The installation was completed Glo within the day and to a very high standard indeed.

Following arrival of my EV I couldn’t get it to charge, Storm jumped straight on my system to try and resolve (Sunday) completing test charges and looking into the settings etc. Turns out it was nothing to do with the system, but settings within the Octopus Energy app.

Subsequently, I had an issue where the battery storage wasn’t charging or discharging. Again, Storm jumped straight on and through videos was able to identify the fault and resolve straight away.

I can’t recommend Storm and his team at Glo Renewables highly enough which I think is demonstrated by all the previous reviews on Trust Pilot.

From start to finish the team were fantastic. Their professionalism, communication, reliability and helpfulness were exemplary. To cap it all they were all really nice people. We would thoroughly recommend them.

Very good communication from Glo Renewables. I am very satisfied with the service carried out on my solar arrays. Local, friendly and easy to deal with.

My experiences with Glo Renewables Ltd. have been entirely positive. I had bought batteries that stopped working after a few years from a different company which no longer exists. Glo Renewables was the only company prepared to service an installation they hadn’t put in. Chris spent longer than he needed to trying to fix what was frankly a poor system.
I was never pressurised into buying a new system but when I asked Storm and Charlie spent time providing me with options. I’m delighted with the new system I went for.
Questions were always responded to and I am impressed with everyone I dealt with at the company. They seem genuinely enthusiastic about what they do and ensure work is carried out smoothly and efficiently.

The team at Glo couldn’t have been better. They explained things well; worked carefully and considerately and went the extra mile to make sure we were happy every step of the way. They were nice guys to have around, managed to work around my work commitments (WFH), and left the roof in a better state than when they arrived. It is great to have our panels up and running and we have already recommended them to friends and family. Highly recommend – Awesome!

I absolutely 10000% recommend Glo Renewables for all your solar needs.
Initially I found them online when my previous inverter broke down. Of all the many people I spoke to Storm was by far the most informative and helpful. The whole team have been so helpful, kind and patient with my many silly questions. They have supplied me with a new inverter and battery system. Their pricing knocks others out of the water, and the follow up care and support is fantastic.
I am very pleased I chose Glo Renewables and would highly recommend them to anyone thinking of adding solar power to their home.

As with the original installation, glo renewables were very helpful with the upgrade we wanted. The work was carried out punctually and efficiently with minimal disruption.

As the managing Director of a roofing company we need a reliable and approachable renewables company to match our service. We most certainly get this with these guys.
Storm is organised and very knowledgeable. His team are polite and hardworking and each and every install is met with the same dedication.
We will always continue to recommend this company when we are approached by customers to coincide a renewables install with our roofing projects.

We felt completely looked after by Storm and the team since our first phone call. There was no pressure and Storm sent a comprehensive proposal with all the information we could need to make a decision, and quoted at a very good price too. The poor team worked tirelessly through the awful January storms (I hope you’ve recovered!) and we are so happy to be up and running and already saving money. Glo make sure you are completely satisfied and all is running as it should - aftercare is superb. Beware though - the solar system app is addictive!! Thanks everyone - very happy customers

Having a GivEnergy system already installed (not by Glo) and experiencing some issues, I turned to the original installer, sadly they no longer exist. So with some googling, I turned to Storm and the Glo Renewables team. Luckily they were willing to help and get the system back up and running. It was a pretty painless experience but it made me realise that these systems require the support of a proper company who will be able to assist in the years to come and not just there for the installation and then gone tomorrow. Glo were honest and up front with the costs and didn’t try to up sell or offer a ‘new’ system when it wasn’t needed. All in all a great experience.

We are extremely happy and satisfied with our solar panels provided and installed by Glo Renewable! From start to finish, the service we received was exceptional. The team was always available at the end of the phone to answer any questions, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

The workmanship was top-notch, and the entire installation process was smooth and completed quickly. We were especially impressed by how efficiently everything was handled—no delays, no hassles.

Within less than a month, we noticed a significant difference in our electricity usage. It’s amazing to see such immediate results!

I would highly recommend Glo Renewable to anyone considering solar panels. Their professionalism, quality of work, and customer care are truly outstanding.

A superb company that we only came across about 12 months ago. Over many years in business I can honestly say we haven't come across another company that functions on the level of Glo . Their knowledge is outstanding , always polite and work in a very and tidy manner . I personally would give thse guys a 5* +++ rating . Excellent work , thanks guys

I wish all companies were this good! Glo Renewables impressed from the start. Responded promptly to all calls, txts and email. Helped with the design and then worked well with my roofer for a seamless fit. Accommodated late design changes at my request. Polite, neat and tidy workers. Although early days the system appears to work as promised
