Booked a taxi to pick us up from The OVO after a gig. Even got a booking number, whoo, whoo! Booked for 11.15 pm.
No sign of taxi so I phoned asking for an update. The operator was so uninterested and said cab will be there ASAP. Low and behold, it never showed up at all.
Ended up joining the taxi rank. It was cold, raining and not happy bunnies to say the least. Ended up back at our hotel at 1.00 am, frozen to the bone.
DO NOT BOOK THIS CRAP TAXI COMPANY. 😒

Tried booking through the app and there app showed 6 taxis 5 mins away after an hour I called in and the idiot on the phone starts talking about me being in the Lanarkshire area which I was nowhere so I just cancelled and walked don't like being lied to and if the person dealing with the calls can't be honest can't expect the drivers to be any better

Taxi didn’t turn up, I had booked night before and when I called to see where it was they said they were trying to locate a taxi to send, despite the advance booking. We managed to flag down another cab and cancelled, won’t use Glasgow Taxis again, no apology or explanation

Glasgow Taxis are prepared to rescue a disabled person with a bicycle in the event of the bicycle breaking down and getting them home ok .
They have 6 seater taxis that can take a bicycle without needing to remove the bikes wheels.
This means a lot to disabled people who are otherwise limited to travelling only as far as they can push a broken down bike, which isn't very far . Thanks very much Glasgow Taxis.

If I could give zero stars I would.
Pre-booked a taxi for a gig last night. Walked 1.5 miles from hampden to make it easier.
Waited 40 mins for a taxi that didn’t turn up in a city we don’t know.
Lady on telephone claiming it was the busy traffic near where we were but it was very quiet by 12.15am.
They even said it’s busy because of the gig! Yes I know that. That is why I pre booked!
Claims of read the small print on the website saying we can’t guarantee a pick up time…… they are a taxi firm!
I cancelled and they confirmed I wouldn’t be charged… well I’d hope not, you didn’t do anything.
Don’t waste your time with this lot. Awful!

Booked a cab but didn't materialize.
Waited hour for mythical can to arrive without luck.

Ended up using Uber and getting charged almost three times as much (it was now after midnight).

While the bloke on the phone was pleasant and helpful.. the service is pish

evening booked a taxi with yourselfs for pick up at the crown plaza at 22.45 booked this at 16.15 there was no mention that it was if there was a driver in the area of which was said when I rang to figure out where you were!!!

A very disgruntled

Unreliable. I use the App and on several occasions have waited over an hour for taxi to take me to a hospital or Doctors appointments. I’ve even tried to book the night before. The dispatchers are doing the best they can but they to get more drivers because they are letting customers down

Twice now I have ordered a taxi from this company and it never turned up. Even after calling the to fund out where cab was to be told its on its way, after 30 minutes nothing arrived.
Total waste of time calling them, useless.

The greatest waste of money ever. I would have been better off setting it a lit than spend cash on this company.

Waited over 3 hours just to be picked up and not only that the drivers tried to charge me an additional £10.

Never again!

Took a taxi from the west end to a restaurant in Ingram Street. The driver came into the restaurant to tell me he had made a mistake and charged my account with £71. I received an email from them promising an immediate refund. I have not received the refund despite 2 emails and 2 phone calls to them. I don't know what to do now. SHOCKING SERVICE. This company has STOLEN my money!!!!!

Waited an hour and a quarter for a taxi today 24th March 2024 from the Ibis hotel The Quay.Never turned up.We ordered a 2nd taxi from them and still no taxi.Very unreliable.

I am shocked at just how rude this company are. Needed a taxi in a rush to get to station. Poked in the automated service but rang to check how long they would be. However they said they couldn’t confirm a time. When I said will be it here in the next 30 mins? the lady was so utterly rude to me it was unbelievable! Said she could even tell me if it was on its way! So I messaged back the automated service to cancel and booked an Uber!
I then had 3 calls from the taxi number so answered it only to get and incredibly rude taxi driver complaining that I wasn’t there and he had spent money driving around for me. Even accused me of denying him a living to pay his mortgage!!! I would have happily waited for the taxi had they told
Me it was in its way! They were so disrespectful. What a crazy way to run a businesses. Awful.

I got avlack hack from london road glasgiw to craigend in Glasgow and we went the normal way I would say if gitva private hire .only reason I had to get hack was because dog was with me and for a fare that would come to £8.80 came to £16 in a hack DOUBLE THE FARE JUST ABOUT .. this is absolutely ridiculous that these taxis are getting away with robbing people like this when it's same milage same route we went and was double what it would been in a private . NEVER WILL I USE A HACK AGAIN AFTER THIS NO SHAME IN ROBBING THE GENERAL PUBLIC something has to be done about the hack fares as if privates can get PLENTY OF CUSTOM with fares they have THEN HACKS SHOULD BE THE SAME ..TBEY LEAVE PEOPLE NO OPTION BUT TO USE THEM BUT IN ALL HONESTY AFTER 18 (£16 FARE £2 TIP) FOR MY FARE I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN A HACK AGAIN AFTER THIS FARCE 💯 ALL PRIVATES I WILL USE NOW

Quoted £40 from Glasgow Central to Paisley which is daylight robbery. How they get away with it is beyond me. Uber should really be targeting Glasgow as a potential for growth with the charlatans currently kicking about the city.

Shocking service. Driver informed me on Friday night when asked to take me to cambuslang that price would be whats on the meter plus half in cash. Told him where to go. Other driver then said cambuslang was too far for him. 20 mins from city centre. They know after 12pm trains and busses are off, they have you by the balls with this. Unfortunately there is going to be a lot of young people left vulnerable due to this. Absolutely disgraceful.

Booked taxi in advance but they did not arrive which resulted in us missing our train. No apology or explanation, very poor service.

Disgusting. My parter had just arrived home after a terrible experience with your taxi service and driver. She was left cold and vulnerable after an obnoxious driver didn't want to take her to Mosspark. The driver thinks there won't be any repercussions about he treats women but he is mistaken.

Nearly missed the madness gig as it eventually turned up one hour late after several calls. Had prebooked the return journey. Shouldn't have bothered as everyone who was in the taxi rank queue got a cab while my disabled husband and i were still waiting 1.5 hrs later. The operator was rude and said its in their terms and conditions that they can't guarantee timings. What exactly is the point of booking then? Another couple were in the exact same situation and probably missed the last train home because of this firm' utter incompetence.

Absolutely terrible service!! Booked a taxi and waited one hour, no sign of taxi! Avoid at any cost
