Glasgow Taxis Omdömen 

I've missed so many of my lectures. They come 30 minutes late despite calling them in advance and repeatedly being reassured. Absolutely rubbish and unreliable they just don't come

Had prebooked a wheelchair taxi to take our elderly mother who has dementia out from her care home for a treat. Taxi did not turn up. When questioned they had not allocated a driver despite it being precooked 2 days prior.
Congrats on disappointing an elderly lady who was looking forward to an afternoon outside of her care home!

Don't even consider this company if your need is urgent; I had chest pains late one Monday evening and I was told by NHS24 to take a taxi immediately to the nearest A & E Department.

I called Glasgow Taxis and waited NINETY MINUTES for a car, I had three automated 'sorry we're delayed' messages. I was already anxious and in severe pain so the wait only added to my already high stress levels.

I would advise avoiding them at all costs.

Amateurs. Unreliable - not to be trusted

Unfortunately we have had a very negative expierence with Glasgow taxis. We had booked a taxi and they had said they would be 5 minutes, however they called and said they would be 10 minutes which we were ok with. 20 minutes later we see the designated taxi driver past us and the driver moves us to a different driver meaning we had to pay a cancellation fee in which we did not cancel. We then phoned an operated and got hung up on due to us not apparently not being patient enough even though this was no fault of ours and getting hung up but the operator which is very unprofessional and not taking account of the situation. Calling again resulted in that the same indivual said he could not refund us and that no manager was available. Very poor will not be using again. This is the first bad review I have written.

Left me stranded in glasgow. Absolutely usless. Wouldnt use them again if my life depended on it. Sitin in there office scratchin there arse no doubt. Bunch of muppets.

Useless. Say they take card but I've yet to flag one down that actually takes it. Obviously paying taxes is optional to these drivers, so I assume they've never once moaned about the potholes/NHS etc? Absolute chancers. Walk if you can, you'll get further quicker.

Apparently Glasgow taxis are "efficient and reliable, 24-hours-a-day, 365 days a year." This is only provided if you don't actually want to be picked up at the time you request and only if you will pay cash. Absolutely ridiculous that they refuse trips on the basis of "cash only" even though they all have card machines.

Better than the previous taxi I had booked to airport as they actually showed up , albeit 15 minutes later than advised .

Booked a 3pm pickup. 3.20 called to ask where the driver was to be told they were looking at allocating a driver, sorry. Now 20 minutes late and no taxi. Cancelled and try somewhere else.

I was busy with an email on a taxi from Glasgow city centre to the airport so didn’t notice the driver never turning on his meter. He then charged me just over £50 and claimed the meter wasn’t working. This is why fewer people are taking cabs.

Absolute joke no point in booking system just don't come on time leave u waiting can't even phone another company cause they have full of glasgow joke of a company

So unreliable, have had to use them twice due to desperation and regretted it.

I booked a taxi the night before to go to my son-in-law funeral when I booked the person I spoke to was so abrupt ,when it came to the next morning the taxi didn't turn up so I called and was told you are second in line when I sead why am I in a line when I booked last night was told we are busy after a half hour phoned back and was told your 3in line, by this time my grandson who is only 15 was standing with a hearse with his father in it waiting on me, so yes I did shout at her and was she was just going to hang up ,after waiting for 45 minutes after when the taxi was meant to arrive a neighbour saw me and seeing how upset I was gave me a lift, I arrived at my son-in-laws funeral just as the hearse was pulling away, my grandson was in bits because he thought I wouldn't make it, it was unforgivable what that taxi firm did and the way they handle things when it's them that's in the wrong is terrible. Forgot to say they had a cheek to send me a message saying I was a no show. 😡

Having looked online to find a wheelchair accessible taxi, we were happy that Glasgow Taxi's stated we could 'book with confidence'. We booked a taxi for 2.30pm and received a WhatsApp message to say that our booking was confirmed. We called at 2.35pm to ask where the taxi was as it hadn't turned up and they stated they were very busy and they couldn't guarantee a taxi even if it was booked and confirmed. Despite many calls and promises to get us a taxi, after 45 minutes of being left outside in the cold in my wheelchair waiting, I was left with no choice but to try and catch a bus in a city I didn't know and sadly turned up 45 minutes late to my mother in laws funeral. I would never recommend this company and am frustrated I have to leave it a single star.

I got lost recently and had no way of knowing how to share my location with the call handler to order a taxi.. the person answering somehow made me feel safe and did some magic by tracking my surroundings and hot me a taxi.. I felt so stupid but she calmed me down and sent a taxi knowing I had no cash on me .. also thank s to driver for trusting me to pay for the fare when I got home and in to collect money from house.. I felt like a silly old fool and they literally saved me as I was in blind panic walking my little dog and not paying attention to the twists and turns I was taking

They scam you ! said it was £18 on the app then charged me £32 once the trip was completed. All to go about 3 miles ! STAY WELL CLEAR !!!!

Glasgow black taxi female call handler are rude and very unpleasant when calling

Booked a taxi to pick us up from The OVO after a gig. Even got a booking number, whoo, whoo! Booked for 11.15 pm.
No sign of taxi so I phoned asking for an update. The operator was so uninterested and said cab will be there ASAP. Low and behold, it never showed up at all.
Ended up joining the taxi rank. It was cold, raining and not happy bunnies to say the least. Ended up back at our hotel at 1.00 am, frozen to the bone.
DO NOT BOOK THIS CRAP TAXI COMPANY. 😒
