Bought for commute but ifind I'm using for leisure, trips to shops etc.Good customer service, you always know you will get a response. Bike is just great easy to use with accessible control pad.
Battery keeps its charge well and has good range.Love it❤️

After a slow start, gin bikes have done their best to resolve issues, 1st impressions of the bikes are good, well made and look great, although we haven't yet had the opportunity to fully experience them.

As a few of the negative reviews have stated, I had quite a few problems getting the bike itself, with continual delays and less-than-great communication.

However, the bike itself is fantastic, and offers brilliant value for money, has a good amount of power, battery life, has all the bells and whistles (literally) and also is one of the best looking bikes on the market (in my opinion).

My advice is if you are looking for a mid-range bike at a budget price, this is the bike for you, but be prepared to wait for it. It is an excellent commuter bike.

The business is still quite young and if they can master their procurement process, I can see them being very successful!

For all I had to wait along time to get my bike and the other down side is I didnt get a bottle rack but I love my bike

This was our first venture into electric bikes and these bikes ticked every box from the features we were looking for. Once we received them we have not been disappointed! The customer care has been exceptional.

Shocking customer service payed and was told the bike would arrive in few weeks six months later still now bike just different excuses in the end I cancelled and asked for my money back they kept £80 cancellation fee the fact I’d been messed around and they do this,the owner said it wasn’t his fault,l bet he takes the credit when things are going well then won’t take responsibility when things are not by the way this was before the trouble in the Middle East shocking !

I would give half a star for finally listening to my Refund request after months of empty promises to deliver.
Their Green Day is a joke! They will charge extra for those supposedly freebies. I got this bike thinking their delivery will be good since they claim they’re from the UK. Another Lie! Instead they’ll bombard you with promises to deliver every 2 weeks and that they’re making sure your bike is top-notch (which is probably another lie). They’ll refuse to Refund by calling and convincing you that by the time your refund is processed your bike would have arrived - which it didn’t.
I DO NOT recommend them at all!

You must have invested your ‘best’ people in your ‘Damage Control’ Department. You don’t get to fool me anymore with it. I had to get my bank involved to get my refund. Sugar-coat it all you like with all your excuses and make it seem like you are all professional about it. It’s just a SHOW for people reading your replies on here. Pat yourself on the back and take a bow while you’re at it!

This is a very good quality e-bike, and excellent value. There were some problems with delivery, but aside from that I'm really pleased with it. I especially like that on steep hills in power setting 5 it really pulls you up the gradient, which for a 76 year old like me is important.

Great bike, ordered in august and arrived around November but definitely worth the wait!! The only problem I have had is a faulty charger which they sent a new one out straight away, would recommend

This bike is absolutely fantastic and such great value for money! I've been riding it a lot, and it's just pure fun. Cruising through the streets, outpacing the cars, it's an exhilarating experience!

My shopping journey with Gin X was quite an adventure. Despite the delay caused by the Suez Canal incident, they've assured me that such issues are now a thing of the past, thanks to their ample pre-bought stock.

I wholeheartedly recommend this bike, unless you're in a rush like I was due to the delivery time. But rest assured, they've assured me that their delivery problems are all sorted out now.

I've owned my bike now for 6 months and am absolutely over the moon with it. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that in my 50s I would be back to riding a bike and genuinely enjoying it.
The bike is easy to ride and excellent value for money. If you are looking for an electric bike and think that a bike costing so little is going to be cheap and nasty think again.
The only negative point was the wait for delivery but it was definitely worth the wait

Yeah Far now I don't have any serious issues with the bike, but shield cover for the battery will be the best and upgrade in the front shock is also needed as I feel.

I received my bike today after just over 10 weeks but I have to say it was worth the wait. It's an amazing bike, well built and looks awesome, the matt black paintwork is stunning. The customer service is outstanding no matter how many emails or calls to them, they always answer you. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an ebike at a reasonable price and the green Friday deal on accessories is outstanding value.

I purchased my GIN E BIKE in February. I have been so impressed by the bike, the battery life is great, it is extremely comfortable. I purchased the upgraded seat and I would recommend this as it is very comfortable to ride with. I cycle to work most days which is a 20 mile round trip and I can get around 3 days on a full charge which compared to other E bikes is brilliant. For the price of the bike I really don't think you can go wrong, it looks good, its powerful getting up those hard hills. Really impressive bike.

The bike itself seems to be really good,I'm enjoying it a lot.Ive been using it regularly for the last 6 weeks Good battery life with lots of power for those steep hills,good brakes, good build quality.
The down side is the actual company.
I ordered my bike mid September and received it mid January, I was always chasing for answers but kept being fobbed off with what seems automated answers.
If the bike is in stock I'd buy it again but if I had to order it then no chance. It would have been nice to be told at the start how long delivery was as this would have changed my mind and I would have bought elsewhere.

I recently purchased the GIN X e-bike, and I must say, it's a game changer for urban commuting! From the sleek design to the robust performance, every detail seems carefully considered. The 500W motor offers just the right amount of power, making hills and long distances much more manageable without sacrificing the feel of a traditional bike ride.

One of the standout features is the battery life. I can easily get around 70 miles on a single charge, depending on my use of pedal assist, which is impressive for my daily needs. The bike itself is lightweight, which is a significant plus for anyone who might need to carry it upstairs or load it into a vehicle.

Additionally, the intuitive display provides all the necessary information at a glance, keeping me informed about speed, battery level, and distance traveled. It’s also worth mentioning that the customer service at GIN X is top-notch. They were incredibly helpful throughout the purchase process, providing clear information and timely updates.

My experience with Gin e-bikes is mixed. They are very good at responding quickly to emails. Most of my correspondence initially revolved around the delivery, which eventually arrived in November 23 after the order was placed in June 23. I’m sure this was due to circumstances beyond their control, but several of the emails were contradictory. The order was incomplete when it arrived (upgraded saddles), but was told that these were always going to be delivered separately having previously been told that it would be packaged together with e-bikes. Due to the delayed delivery, I received emails promising upgraded pannier bags and free water bottles, but although I was not particularly worried about this, they didn’t transpire. I ordered two e-bikes, one of which was absolutely fine, but the other had some very shoddy workmanship, especially the screws holding the cable cover on, one of which has now fallen out and is gone. Having waited for so long, I was very disappointed with one of the two e-bikes. Despite the negative review, I think Gin e-bikes are trying to provide a good service and considering the price is a relatively good product. If both were of the same build quality, there wouldn’t have been much to complain about other than the delivery time.
