Extremely bad experience, order was cancelled for a 50th anniversary cake without confirmation from me. Very unprofessional, the so-called manager who answered the call was insistent on cancelling instead of looking for options to salvage the situation. They called the wrong number, assuming it is a US number! He also said there is no way to escalate the situation because he is the top manager. My request to Giftsmyntra is to provide tge minimum training to their employees to help with customer service, this isn't a random sweet shop or is it

Sorry for your inconvenience caused.
We explained the situation to you over phone and also replied detailed by email, but unfortunately you are not ready to listen or accept that the miscommunication happened based on reply from your recipient end.
We informed you over phone and by email that when our person visited that sweets shop to take your ordered item - Cake Sandesh with "Happy Anniversary" message as per your order, Our delivery boy found that the same ordered item is not available on that sweets shop, Only " Best Wishes" message written cake sandesh is available there and this item only available in that sweet shop and not available in any other sweets shop.
From that sweet shop around 2.30 pm our person called to your recipient instantly and informed them that happy anniversary cake Sandesh is not available but the same cake Sandesh available with Best wishes message and asked your recipient's permission to deliver the items but one lady taken the call and she asked your mother over phone to talked to us but she refused to talk to our delivery boy and then that lady said - sorry you can asked the sender what to do- we don't know.
Then our boy asked that your phone number saying incoming facility not available on your mentioned number and no ISD code you have mentioned with that phone number and we asked to your recipient ( to that women who taken the call) is sender placed the order from outs of India usa? she said YES. So we add (+1) ISD code of USA with your number but shown no active number as you informed us later that it is your Indian number which you are using for WhatsApp from UK whereas in sender details UK address also not mentioned and Kolkata address mentioned and we have received your payment in USD. So we confused and done wrong isd code addition by mistake.
Then we informed you by email around 2.39 pm about all the situation and asked for your confirmation, because we can not deliver the alternate product without your consent, and we forced to our delivery boy to wait in that sweets shop till 3.30 pm if we get any reply from you will inform him and he may deliver the order.
but we have not received any reply till 3.45 pm and he went out from shop and returned back. Due to long distance of sweets shp and delivery location from our office we know it will not possible to deliver the order later on same day and as the order product also not available so it is our duty to refund your paid amount to you otherwise you definitely told us - "that we cheat you by taking money and not delivered the items or correct items" - So we processed the full refund by cancelling the order and obliviously we have done these by informing you by email.
Even as we faced the issue with your ordered items , we completely removed that item form our website to ensure our customer should not get disappoint by ordering that item again as we always try to provide best quality service to our customer. It is our bad luck this time to failed to satisfy you due to non availability of correct item and due to some miscommunication, we are very sorry for that.

WORST EXPERIENCE
this is the worst online service I have ever experienced. I placed an order on 6/08, they let me select the delivery date of 7/08 which tells me that is when it will be delivered. then within 5 mins of placing the order, I contact their chat to update the address. they say " noted". I do not receive any communication/email after that and I have been chasing them up for delivery everyday and they have been making excuses. yesterday I finally get an email with tracking details..5 days after I place the order and realize, they still had the incorrect address. Contacted them again today and still lies and excuses...they have taken my money and order still not delivered after 7 days...ridiculous..PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE EVER

Sorry for your inconvenience,
We have received the order on 7-08-2025 and shipped your gift on same day by Bluedart courier as per mentioned shipping details (Shipment tracking number was 17530662273) and informed you sameday by email.
Even before ship order we asked you if you want to cancel the order , you can and we will refund.
But as taking your consent we processed the order for delivery.
It is very unfortunate that bluedart courier taken long time to deliver your shipment which we cannot manipulate but we also sent several email to courier to make it fast.
We shipped the parcel to your given corrected address too, and as per bluedart showing on their site, they attempted delivery but found premises closed. we informed Bluedart to deliver by call the recipient and hope it will be delivered soon.
We always try to deliver gift properly.

GREAT PERSONLISED SERVICE.
This was my first time using this company and I must say, the staff people are very attentive and caring. In the sense, I ordered rakhi for raksha bandhan and because I was early I received a email saying original date is this and if I want to change the delivery date I can do it. This personalized care truly touched me.
Also, I had send a message and they used
their 'caring' concept and wrote & send that
message on a greeting card.
In short, I felt as if, they took care of my gift
as if it was their "own" gift. This kind of personalized service is not easy to find,
nowadays.
Needless to say, I was updated whenever the items were shipped out with the tracking number and when it got delivered... as all other Company does.

This was my first time using Giftmyntra. I sent a flower bouquet shaped in an alphabet and a silk saree to my sister on her birthday. The website is user friendly.
