Really great product, can recommend. Intuitive and easy to use, and if you run into problems the customer service team will respond quickly and help you out.

When I moved to Munich to start my own freelance business I realised how extremely complicated the German tax system is. Especially as an outsider!
I sadly had very bad experiences with Finanzamt and I would rather try to avoid them since my german is quite limited and they refuse to talk English.

Once I found Sorted all my headaches regarding my taxes literally went away instantly. The ABSOLUTE best thing is that everything I do on the website is in English and when I submit to Finanzamt through Sorted, it translates to german in the right documents Finanzamt expects.

Sorted is cheaper than having an accountant and it's so streamlined it wont take up a lot of time.

It is an excellent site for managing your freelance taxes. Perfect and easy to use except for one flaw:- data is not backed up and they do not clearly tell you this,

You need to do backups yourself and even then it is quite some work to re-import data.
I would rate 5 if backups or at least a warning/guidance was given.

Great service and even greater support. Mariana went above and beyond to solve my issue promptly and politely. Good customer service is increasingly rare these days, so I really appreciate it!

I love Sorted. The design is super nice and easy to use and understand. There are short articles that explain things along the way. I used Sorted to get myself started as a freelancer here and start invoicing. I had a question or two along the way and got super fast responses. My experience so far has been a breeze and has taken a ton of stress away from being clueless in a new country haha.

The best tool to create invoices and do tax reporting if you are a freelancer registered in Germany. Especially, if you are not quite yet speak perfect German.

I've been using sorted for 2 years now and I use it for writing invoices, tracking income, paying taxes and sending all sorts of tax reports.

It's a very easy and straightforward tool to use with back by excellent customer support and advisers. I highly recommend it to any freelancer!

Now I'm getting some troubles with Finanzamt because of Sorted. I've recently received a letter from Finanzamt saying,

Die in der Umsatzsteuererklärung insgesamt erklärten Vorsteuerbeträge weichen von den laut Anlage EÜR gezahlten Vorsteuerbeträgen um -XXX € ab.

Which basically means that something is wrong with the declarations I sent a few months back. Now I probably have to learn a different app to submit corrected declarations and pray not to get a fine for false declarations I submitted using Sorted.

UPDATE: The issue seems to be resolved by the team, but still, I'm suspicious whether the same problem won't happen again.

Affordable and easy to use. As a freelancer, it has made keeping track of my finances practically effortless. When the time comes to file your taxes, most of the work has already been done.

I'm using Sorted for two years now and everything was smooth so far. The reporting to Finanzamt never been so easy!

While switching from the free to the pro plan I wasnt fast enough with the bank authorisation so it was like a weird glitch where I had technically switched but didn´t have any of the pro features. I contacted customer support and thank the Lord received help within 1 hour and it got fixed :) Thanks V for excellent customer support!
