Einfach super! Norman hat mich sogar schon aus einer echten Notsituation herausgeholt. Ein wirklich hervorragendes Buchhaltungstool mit vielen durchdachten und nützlichen Funktionen – gerade für Selbstständige absolut empfehlenswert. Besonders positiv ist auch der Support: kompetent, souverän und vor allem sehr schnell. Klare Empfehlung!

Leider funktionierte das Abrufen der Transaktionen von meinem Finom-Konto nicht richtig. Daraufhin meldete ich dies dem Support, welcher mir sagte, dass ich doch bitte noch warten solle.. Als ich dann am 17. August (3 Tage später) die Transaktion immer noch nicht in meiner Buchhaltung sehen konnte, versuchte ich, mein Bankkonto erneut zu verbinden. Bis ich dann feststellen musste, dass sie diese Funktion (trotz aktuell immer noch ausgeschilderter Beschreibung) vom kostenlosen Plan entfernt haben, und ich dafür nun 9€/Monat zahlen soll. Ein Feature, was nicht korrekt funktioniert, wurde nun kostenpflichtig gemacht, nachdem ich meldete, dass es da Probleme gibt. Super. Danke.

I've been filing my VAT returns with Norman for a couple of years now, and it's become an essential part of how I run my business. Invoicing feeds ZM filings, Qonto sync works seamlessly, so my transactions flow in without any manual effort. The AI helps with bookkeeping a lot and the pricing is very reasonable for what I get.

In general I have a good experience. Being a technical person I value companies that focus on modern solutions and think outside of the box.

Their API and MCP make my experience using their software top because I can connect it to my AI workflows.

From time to time there are some technical issues (which is normal), but they do their best to solve them and their support responds instantly.

Ich bin neu in der Selbstständigkeit und habe ehrlich gesagt keinen Plan von Finanzen vorher gehabt. Ich habe dann mit Claude ein wenig diskutiert, welches Tool ich nehme, und Norman kam mir sehr schlank vor. Es gibt Tabs für Buchhaltung, für Steuern, für Dokumente, und ich habe außerdem mein Bankkonto verbunden. Das Vorsortieren klappt meist auch sehr gut. Ich habe meine Buchhaltung jetzt nie manuell machen müssen und auch nicht so viele andere Tools ausprobiert. Daher kann ich keinen vernünftigen Vergleich geben, aber ich verbringe wirklich nicht mehr als zehn Minuten damit im Monat. Von daher bin ich vollkommen zufrieden.

Started using Norman for my regular annoying invoicing. It’s fast, easy and the invoices are beautiful (much better than my Word ones:))! Super friendly design and navigation! Now doing VAT filings with them. Maybe will do annuals as well, will see. Thank you for saving my time and nerves😄

I moved to Germany a few years ago and had basically no idea how local accounting and taxes work. As a small business owner, that was pretty stressful in the beginning. Norman helped a lot with getting things under control.
The tool is easy to use and doesn’t feel overwhelming, even if you don’t have an accounting background. I use it for invoicing, VAT, and quarterly reporting for my Gewerbe, and I can do all of that on my own now.
Support has also been very good. Whenever I had questions (especially about German tax details), I got quick and clear answers. Overall, it’s made accounting in Germany much less painful for me.

Nice tax service. I’ve been a client of Norman since last year. Initially they started as a service to simplify taxes for small entrepreneurs in Germany, Kleinunternehmer or Freiberufler. The key feature is focusing on expats like myself. As a foreigner in Germany, it’s pretty hard for me to understand the process of registering, invoicing, and correct reporting of taxes and VAT. Norman helped me to get the things in order and keep track of my income and expenses, which is crucial to get the deductible from the tax office. Recently the developers started including new features targeting people who are both self-employed and have been regular employees. Norman incorporates the AI features too, which helps with parsing expense invoices. I find their prices reasonable.
