Received a call just after submitting an application as they needed more information. Ann A was Very pleasant, helpful and quick service.

Ann Arcilla was very helpful with getting our financing processed. We had a Fraud Alert freeze that we had to activate due to some previous incidents. Ann helped my husband and I get through the process to get our situation taken care of. She was very patient and pleasant to work with.

service is good so far, the new program for the loan process needs work though over all service is okay!

I got a home improvement loan from Powee Pay in early 2021, I was very happy until I learned of the high interest rate I would be charged. But like a responsible person I paid it because my bathroom really needed some attention.
I paid early on every payment and even paid $100.00 extra for a year and a half.
I refinanced my home and was going to consolidate my home improvements loan and a few other loans that I had high interest rates on. When my bank pulled my credit report, there were no inquiries about Power Pay on my report at all. I thought a company that lends $35000 to someone would report to Equifax or Trans Union, but nothing. This company has been a ghost for 16 months and dud nothing to help my credit at all. When I called to ask why, I was told bluntly that they were not required by law to report and basically Said oh well. I tried to get a pay off quote for my bank, they sent a blank email with no amount stating that upon customer request, here is your pay off ________.
So I had to give the bank a copy of my latest bill statement. Wich after they were paid still say I owe $242.00.. unbelievable this company is.
This company has no respect for Disciplined debtors who care about their credit. Almost make you feel as if you don't matter.
I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are very preditorial. 16 months would have been nice to see on my credit report, instead all I got was taken advantage of.
Bad bad bad business and ethics with these people.
Stay away at all costs.....

I was told there would not be a hard inquiry.
But there was. 🤨
And the hard inquiry showed up AFTER I was approved.
Already feeling uncomfortable with this company.

Am being told that the application I filled out has expired and the contractor has not been paid but the first payment was already taken out of my checking account.

Although they were helpful in getting us financing for the project we had taken on in 2021

We were quoted 6.99 went forward the project and then the interest rate jumped up to 12.99%

In the 12 months I’ve had the loan I have been knocking down the principal amount by making extra principal payments each month

A week ago today I made a $13,500 principal payment

The money was never withdrawn from my account

I called after seven days and was told the payment was being reversed because it was a problem with the account number which from my end I didn’t see any problem

I was never contacted by the company

They have my email address correct

Just now I went to pay the $13,500 again and I’m having to pay an extra $48 in interest

In my opinion that is ridiculous

The customer service agent commented that that’s going to be a hard battle for me to win

I’m not sure why the payment got reversed I’m not believing it was a account number error

Zero communication from the company and being charge $48 that should’ve been waived in my opinion -poor customer service

But again the project was able to get done

Taking out a 15 year loan and paying it off in a year I guess the company is a little disappointed they’re not going to get another 14 years of interest out of me

As many others have stated here DO NOT TRUST THUS COMPANY! They lied to me and my contractor about having my financing in order. They notified my contractor to say I was approved then 60 days later they say no to financing( AFTER COMPLETION OF JOB) because of insufficient collateral. Never asked for collateral b4 and didn't ask at end either! Just a big fat NO ! When I called and asked why they couldn't explain and then started with the lies. Kerri, the supposed supervisor wouldn't even admit they might have wronged me then asked me what did I want? How bout an apology I said. Nope. Crap company with liers and thiefs in the upper positions! STAY AWAY FROM POWERPAY! They will famously blame Valley Strong as well. That's the actual money ppl. These powerpay ppl are just money grabbers middlemanning YOUR funds! STAY FAR AWAY!

Truly the worst company to deal with. Advertises a 4.99% interest rate only to tell you 8.99% is the lowest they offer. We spoke with them and they kept telling us it was up to the contractor to decide if we would get the 4.99%. It didn't make sense to us because the contractor wouldn't benefit from a lower interest rate - it doesn't matter to the contractor. Took multiple phone calls with multiple people at PowerPay for them to tell us the contractor has to buy down the interest rate. I wish they would've been straightforward with us so we didn't keep wasting our time. Then when we opted to use another contractor, we weren't able to change it on our application, we would have to fill out another application and go through the process again. Nothing about working with this company is easy and we have hated our experience.

Had a bit of communication problem at first, due to the contractor not performing. But everything has been fine so far. Too premature to say much at this point, since we haven't even made our first payment...

Ann A was extremely helpful and sorted my issues out quickly and called back to save my time on the phone while working on the issues.

The installer was very helpful with information on the product and the proper installation. The PowerPay agent, Ann Archilla was very helpful and attentive to any concerns I had. Thank you PowerPay for your help. I will be warm this winter!!!
