Smooth experience throughout!
I've been using Ontop for 18 months and my experience has been smooth throughout. I am based out of Canada and have multiple options to withdraw my funds, at a competitive rate, plus I can choose whether I want USD or my local currency (CAD). I mistakenly sent funds to an incorrect bank account and the money was automatically refunded to my Wallet within a couple of hours. I can honestly say the team that makes up Ontop is a passionate team that truly cares about generating value for their users.

Patético, te ofrecen una tarjeta física que que cuesta 20usd y básicamente es lo mismo que la virtual, no sirven para nada ninguna de las dos, la física no trae CVV así que igual dependes para todo de la virtual, una porquería

Ontop is a dishonest organization. They run the shady Colombian practices on the finances and on the app. Go with the competitors. Just look at their leadership, Ontop's CEO is inexperienced and runs an unethical organization. Many of their VPs are part of his inner circle. Just notice that even though this is a US-based company, the entire leadership is from Colombia. Question their honesty.

GETONTOP.com is a scamming platform pretending to offer services but only scams people, lots of people complain about being robbed by them, I denounce the fraudulent acts of the webmaster who sends repeated, harmful backlinks to new websites, polluting the digital world — these people are real villains — in two words: RUN AWAY!

Han pasado más de 2 meses ...
Hace 2 años me hicieron un depósito que no noté porque Ontop nunca reflejó ese depósito en mi cuenta. Luego de terminar contrato con la empresa en que trabajé y sacar las cuentas vi que ese pago no estaba presente. Reporté el caso la mitad de diciembre de 2025. Hoy a mitad de febrero de 2025 no resuelven el caso. Cuando dijeron que tomarían de 24 a 48 horas. Cuando escribo solo responden que están viendo el caso y que no tienen updates de su equipo. Realmente su servicio al cliente es lo peor.

Worst experience ever
I think Ontop has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. First, I can’t get through the verification process, and their support just keeps giving me the same generic responses like:
"We will surely keep you posted soon."
"Thanks, I will send it to our team for more information."
"Once we get an update, we will let you know."
They don’t actually help at all.
They say that solving this (super simple) issue usually takes 48 hours, but I’ve already been waiting for 6 days.
I don’t recommend working with this company, especially for businesses.

No me dicen si mi pago está en proceso o no, el plazo en el que se supone que debo ver reflejado mi dinero está a punto de acabarse y ni siquiera me dan información, pésima atención, además de que la plataforma tiene fallos constantemente. La función de seguimiento del pago fue retirada, entonces literalmente no sé qué sucede con mi dinero.

It's been almost 20 days
It's been 20 days since my transfer changed to complete status but it never arrived in my account in Brazil. I opened a support ticket, they always respond, but without any update on the case. They took proof of transfer and tried to say that the transfer had been made, but they didn't even check it, because I identified that some very important codes were wrong. In my registration they are correct and in their proof of transfer they are wrong, in other words, they made a mistake, 5,000 dollars, I've been waiting for almost 20 days and no resolution so far! I have no more words to express what I'm going through...
As soon as they resolve the issue I'll come back here to write again.

Demora en liberar el pago
La peor experiencia en cuanto a la liberación de los pagos, supuestamente se demoran 5 días hábiles después de que la empresa les gira el pago, pero se demoran mucho más, inclusive han pasado más de 20 días y el pago sin liberarse. Algunas veces, las demoras han sido por temas administrativos entre la empresa y Ontop, pero retienen el pago al trabajador y no solucionan con prontitud sus problemas administrativos y quien lleva la peor parte es el contratista.

It has been 2 months since I am waiting for a refund. I don’t know how many times I tried to solve with support and they say they are trying. 2 months with my money and counting. I’ll have to follow them legally.
Besides that, the payments are available late.

Terrible experience
I had an extremely disappointing experience with Ontop. First, there is a U$ 9.00 fee to transfer money. Then, at random times, my account, which was previously functioning well for transfers, suddenly stopped working. When I contacted customer support, they offered basic troubleshooting suggestions such as using a different device or reinstalling the app, implying that the issue was on my end, even though nothing had changed and the account was working before.
In the end, they opened a support ticket, but I was told I would need to wait 48 hours for a response. If you're considering using this platform, I strongly advise against it if you want to avoid unnecessary issues and delays.

Worst experience ever
Worst experience ever! Transfer money between countries nowadays is quiet easy with other platforms, but Ontop complicates everything.
- Horrible integration with transfer methods to Brazilian accounts. Transfer from USD to BRL is always a nightmare.
- The customer support try to push the problem to customer side, though the platform always have problems.
- They don't offer a clear and detailed view about the currency exchange rates and taxes.

They systematically pay late. They made me sign a contract in which they promised to pay on the eighth day but they never do. They claim that it is my company's problem, even though I send them the receipts showing that my company made the transfer within the five working days. They have a lousy customer service, totally automated and useless in which they answer over and over again the same useless stupidity for those who have a problem as a customer. Unfortunately my company chose them as a provider but for any Start Up or company that wants a global digital payments service, I recommend anyone but OnTop.

Horrible experience
- App Constantly crashes, bad experience overall
- Customer support is almost non-existent as they take days to answer.
- Takes a very long time to do transfers
- After almost a week of "processing a transfer" and constantly asking for updates every day, they ask for more documents that they should have asked at signup.
Update: getontop tried to flag this as defamatory but trustpilot quickly removed the flag. Thanks trustpilot!

Worst Cross Border Payment Support
Worst payment transfers from Ontop to respective own accounts. They're clueless on whats happening with the money. Account Manager never solves any issue and for weeks, all you need to do is just keep begging them for what's the status of the payment.
No one identifies the problem or figure a solution even after repeated reach outs. Horrible experience so far. Writing this after a 2-month issue not getting resolved. Ticked ID: 808042
