Luna makes physical therapy so much…

Luna makes physical therapy so much easier and more convenient. When I reached out to get booked for in-home PT, someone followed up with me on the phone shortly after to help sort out the details. They helped answer all of my questions and get the ball rolling right away, so I didn’t have to delay my treatment!

I tried the platform for one of my…

I tried the platform for one of my roommate and even with changing the appointment timing multiple time the therapist and platform were very supportive and it help my friend feel better after the session and recommended workouts on the platform

My experience with Luna

This is my first time using Luna. I work with Clifford Civil and he is a wonderful physical therapist. My experience has been really great. The app, communication, to booking and rescheduling appointments has been exceptional. I appreciate being able to have PT in home because of the convenience plus I do not drive nor do I go out often due to Physical difficulties. Luna has made it easier. I definitely recommend them and Clifford Civil.

I have had extensive physical issues…

I have had extensive physical issues since 2005 and have had all sorts of therapy so I consider myself as being well-acquainted and knowledgeable about PT. I called Luna in a panic after having gone to another PT office [recommended by my doctor] which was awful. Best decision EVER! Jeff listens to me, he changes things up to help me with my needs, he encourages me, and he is perfectly professional. I can't recommend him and LUNA Physical Therapy enough.

Tom is a wonderful therapist, great personality, knowledgeable of his trade and explains the exercises and how they promote your healing which

Tom is a wonderful. He is patient, knowledgeable at his trade, he is gentle and he gets you to do all the exercises and explains how each exercise pertains to your healing which I appreciate. I think he is one of the best physical therapist I have ever had. He encourages you to do your exercises. I have nothing but praise for Tom Billings. I will convey this to my surgeon at how my experience with Luna. She wants to know how you guys are at being as Therapist. She will get a gold star from me about Luna, especially Mr. Billings.

The Luna Experience

Luna is great to work with. She explains everything very clear. She understands my limits.
I have a few more sessions to go, but I will request her in the future should I need PT again

Just had my first session with Luna and…

Just had my first session with Luna and I’m already so impressed. My therapist was super knowledgeable and made me feel totally comfortable. Loved that they came to my home—so much easier than going to a clinic. Can’t wait for the next session!

Josef was wonderful

Josef was wonderful. I have had an aching back for years with no help. With my Luna visits not only was my pain reduced and I was able to move more easily, I was also given a great set of exercises and stretches to continue my progress at home. This is the first time I have been to PT where the therapist actually told me why the pain jumped around to other joints and muscles. Just understanding that, has helped me a lot. Terrific service!!!!!

Seamless care, right at home — truly a game changer

From start to finish, Luna made physical therapy incredibly convenient and personalized. No shows but bill you anyway

Tried couple times to use them but every time I got message just before appointment stating Canceled When I called I was told therapist double booked. Next time nothing, nothing at all. Even though these were my only 2 experiences they are billing me… I’ve never received anything but text messages but they are persistent I ignore them.

Hi Kathleen, Because our therapists come to a patient's home, Luna has a 24 hour cancellation policy with a fee. It is well communicated to patients in advance of scheduling their appointment and is included in the appointment reminder email or text, as well as our terms of service. We love our Luna therapist

We love our Luna therapist, Todd.
He is professional, gives specific instructions to my sister in law(who I care for), and leaves us with instructions on exercises, we can help her with, to help improve her mobility.
He is kind, knowledgeable, respectful and always on time.
We highly recommend Luna to anyone needing physical therapy.

There is no zero star

There is no zero star. So I'm forced to give them one.
Very bad customer service in scheduling, billing departments do their shady stuff to over bill you and they don't discuss out of pocket fees with you, they will just tell you "" wait for the bill""
Ridiculous practice.

Hello Btol, could you please email us your real name to info@getluna.com, so that we may look into this for you? When a patient schedules their first appointment, we collect the patient's insurance information and begin a courtesy benefits verification with their insurance company. Shortly afterwards, we send an email to the patient with the information we uncovered from the insurance company. This includes a patient's deductible, co-pay, co-insurance if applicable, and other fees/terms for care. Essentially, before a patient's first session, a patient has this information and is entirely aware of the patient responsibility. We'd love to investigate this for you, because maybe the email was missed or perhaps there are other circumstances that we're not understanding that we'd happily resolve. Thank you.

I scheduled an in-home session for my father

I scheduled an in-home session for my 85 year old father who has been complaining of neck pain and stiffness for several days. 1st appointment got canceled, so rescheduled for 2 days later. Then 2nd appointment got canceled claiming that we canceled it due to inclement weather. We did not cancel! When I called to get more details on why it was canceled, they said it was the therapist that canceled due to inclement weather. Very unreliable, so don't waste your time.

OVERCHARGED AND STILL WAITING!

This company overcharged me and I did not consent payment because I knew I only had a copay. So for 2 months I am waiting for my over $300 refund while they have MY money AND the insurance payment as well! This feels fraudulant! The person I spoke with on the phone was not helpful in the least.

Betsy, We’re happy to answer these statements about our billing practices.

When a patient signs up for their first session with Luna, we ask for a credit card. Luna explains to all patients that their credit card is required to cover the cost of deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance and late cancellation fees. The terms are also written in our Terms of Service. Many patients have deductibles that need to be met (they are generally reset at the start of every new year) before their health insurance begins to cover the costs of treatment. Providers, including Luna, collect payment to satisfy the insurance plan’s policy with respect to these deductibles, co-pays, co-insurance, etc. When a patient signs up for their first appointment, Luna provides a courtesy benefit verification check. We email our patients this information so that they know how much of their deductible is remaining and what their co-pay will be, etc. We can assure you that none of these practices are negligent or fraudulent. In fact, Luna strictly abides to the terms of the contract that patients have with their insurance.

If you believe a refund is due, for example if you believe that your deductible has already been satisfied, Luna would need verification from your insurance company to confirm this. This practice is common and happens by the processing of claims that we submit to your insurance company on your behalf. Unfortunately, Luna has really no control on how quickly insurance companies process claims and sadly, the process can take several months. If the insurance company makes a mistake processing patient claims, those corrections can tack on extra time to the process. Rest assured, in scenarios such as these, once the insurance company sends Luna the processed claim, Luna will make adjustments and, if applicable, refund any of the patient responsibility that was outlined by the insurance company.
