Well it can honour its rhetoric and promises of a full refund if not happy, that’s just for starters. I took delivery of two of these Kovah cooling mats, we ordered them thinking that for the money we were paying they would be the bees knees and better than the cheap rubbish being sold on certain other websites. We’d already tried the cheap stuff for a fiver on these sites, at a fiver it didn’t matter what happened. But our dog just would not use them, try as we may to get them on to the mats, they wouldn’t stay on them. So imagine our surprise when they arrived and they were identical to the cheap rubbish you can buy for a fiver. We were naturally livid !! However at 60 quid for two we thought we might as well try them. Did they work ? Nope ! Dog still refused to lie on them. So we contacted Kovah by e mail as we were instructed to do and they said we could have a full refund, however “ WE, KOVAH, DO NOT COVER THE RETURN SHIPPING COSTS “. to BELGIUM !!! And this despite the fact that the website clearly states that “ WE EVEN COVER THE RETURN SHIPPING COSTS “ So, a game of cat and mouse ensued, me losing my cool with them , quoting the law to them and all sorts. They offered me a 20% refund and keep the mats, I said No. They then offered me 40% and keep the mats, I still said No ! Finally, they offered me a 60% refund and keep the mats. I accepted this rathe4 than struggle to force them any longer to honour their own promise. The refund was for 37 quid so at least I’m only 24 quid out of pocket instead of 60 odd. Better to withdraw valiantly sometimes than fight to the death. If you have any sense you will not buy these things, they are way overpriced and if they don’t work you WONT get your money back or your return shipping costs paid. The heatwave is over, I think these things will just disappear in to oblivion now, they are frankly useless ! Someone had the brilliant idea of buying probably about 20,000 off Amazon or Temu for less than a fiver each and selling them on at the most exorbitant price, just to make a quick buck. I take my hat off to them, it was a good scam, I hope not too many people fall foul of it. From their point of view they’ve had 24 quid out of me, better than nothing that they would have had if they had refunded me in full and paid the return shipping. BUYER BEWARE !!!! 😤😤

My cocker spaniel Brandy really loves her cooling mats - I bought two so she has one in the back of the car and one in the house. Delivery was quick and on time.

I received two mats for the price of one. When ordering I thought “great deal”.
When my order arrived my dog went straight to it and lay down, she really seems to like it.
But… the mat seems pretty flimsy and not much to it considering the price of $114 CAD… even for two this is a lot of money for what it is.
My wife was looking at cooling mats in the local pet store which are half the price and far better quality..
Disappointed…

Keeping my dogs cool in the extreme heat we have had was concerning me. I have spent ages looking at all the cooling mats available on line and decided that this was the one for my dogs. The delivery was super fast and the buy one get one free deal was perfect as I have 2 dogs. I went for the next size up from the recommended size so that I could put the blankets in the dog beds. When the blankets arrived, upon opening the packages, you actually could feel the coolness .. the material actually feels cool to touch and all the time your dog sits on the blanket they get this cooling effect ... I don't know how this works but I was very impressed ... my dogs are happy and so am I ... Brilliant 😊

I bought the dog hair inwash powder and I cannot believe how much cleaner and sweeter smelling my clothes and washing machine are.

Absolutely rubbish items, cheap and so expensive! Saw the advertised items on FB, pet cooling mats, buy one get one free, cheaper than cheap, fit for the bin. Advertising as best on the market, far from it!!! Bought better for less than £10 from B&M. Also ordered dental wipes over £18 and never received the item. Email after email going round in circles, now requested a refund, not holding out much hope. Do not buy cooling mats. I was expecting first class quality for the price , cheap material packaged in a thin clear piece of plastic. I was had over big time, lesson learnt! My loss of over £80!!!!

A rubbish product. I rarely buy online but saw a Facebook post that looked genuine. The mats arrived stuffed into a tiny plastic bag with no paperwork or business address for returns. Sub-standard goods with no hoe of a refund I have emailed and sent WhatsApp messages, to no avail. My next stop is Trading Standards.

I was dubious when product arrived as like a little different material to what was advertised however, I MUST say it HAS been TOTALLY WORTH the money spent.
My dogs have gone to the Kovah Matt’s by themselves when they for hot - it was like they knew. I can HONESTLY say that they have definitely improved the dogs conditions in the heat. I have a kangol shepherd and a sprocker. My only negative was packaging as made product look cheap,

Not yet received the mat. Was ordered 4 days ago and still waiting for it to be shipped.

Update 13/08/2026…order has now been dispatched, but with a further 6-10 WORKING days for delivery. That’s a possible 2+ weeks from date of order.

Will miss the next heatwave and having read the reviews, I’m not expecting a great deal.

I bought two Kovah Cat Cooling Mats, size L in Blue, and paid £52 in total. Unfortunately, I’m extremely disappointed with the quality.

Our cat has shown absolutely no interest in these cooling mats. The material feels very cheap, the mats are extremely thin, and most importantly, they don’t feel cool at all to the touch. Based on the product description and the overwhelmingly positive five-star reviews on the company’s website, I was expecting a much better-quality product.

In my experience, the actual product I received simply does not live up to the quality or performance suggested on the website. I also find the number of glowing five-star reviews difficult to reconcile with the product I received.

For £52 for two mats, I expected considerably better quality and an effective cooling product. I’m very disappointed with this purchase and would not recommend it.

Save your money — in my experience, these cooling mats are simply not worth the price.

Useless - do not use.

My parcel is missing and they are not interested.

Uses a substandard delivery company obviously because they are cheap so products do not get delivered.

No idea if the items are any good because they never arrive.

Update: Went around in circles for many many messages - I asked for a refund. They said send us your (cheap, nasty, from Shein/Temu) mats to Belguim at my own cost. Iasked for a refund again. They offered 20% refund. I asked again. They offered 30%. I asked again they offered 40%. It stopped there and they would go back to demanding I send them to Belguim. On the third round I just said ok give me 40%. I got it. So this still worked for them, they made a stupid profit from lying. Read my account through and avoid them like the plague. Report to shopify and citizens advice if you do buy, and find yourself in the same situation.

Fake trustpilot reviews on their page
Fake product- just a cheap item from Shein rather than the thicker, higher quality product they promise, priced at £35 instead of £2- £3.
Multiple emails asking that you click on links or reply with a yes, potential phishing.
They claim to offer 90 day money back guarantee but you have to 'return' them to Belguim at your own cost.

Their response to my request for a refund was first to tell me I have to send it to a "warehouse" in Belguim. Hint- this item has never been anywhere near Belgium before. This would cost as much as the overpriced mat and they know this- nobody will bother. We will just count our losses and let go. They also say to send it recorded- at huge extra cost. If you dont they will likely just disappear it.
They offered me 30% refund, then 40% refund to keep it. No. They have pretty much scammed me with all the lies and deceptions and I want my money back. Why should they get to keep it.

This site (Get-kovah.com) claims to have 50,000 Trustpilot reviews. They say separately that their reviews have a score of 4.8, but mine is the first Trustpilot review. I should have checked this was real before purchase of course but foolishly relied on Google to know what was what.

They show the Trustpilot logo with 5 stars, and a note saying "50,000 happy customers".

I had bought ice silk pet mats for about £5-£7 on Amazon but my pet was not interested. It was so hot, and I had read that these ones were really good- the quality was higher etc and there is a money back guarantee if your pet doesn't like it. However, they are about £35 for the same size as the ones on Amazon, a small. I took this as confirmation it was a "proper" product, with its dedicated website etc. They do give you two "for the price of one".
So, I decided to bite the bullet- I was worried about my pet, who had been unwell, overheating.
It took a while to arrive (ordered 24th July, delivered 1st August so not outrgaeously slow). The website says they come from Belguim and it wasn't a huge concern. I noticed however the words Yun Express on the order confirmation page. A quick check and this is shown to be Amazon/Shein as I suspected. It seems they are upselling, pretending to sell a higher quality product than the cheap ones widely available, then they send your order directly to Amazon or Shein, who fulfil the order. I have bought on Amazon before, they are £5 rather than £35, and they are thicker than the Get-Kovah mats, not thinner.
They claim to offer a 90- day money back guarantee but have not replied to my request by email and on a form from their website.

I can't ask my bank for a refund for 2 weeks, but I will if they do not refund me.
I realise there is a strong chnace they will tell me I have to return the product at my own (likely extortionate) cost and then it may "never arrive" meaning they never refund.

Also they sent many emails after the order, each with a different clickable link or a request to reply with a "yes". This seemed very dodgy to me. I have changed my bank card and reported them to report@ phishing.org.uk in case there were any phishing attempts in the email links.

A quick search finds the identical product on Shein- to be clear this product came packaged like it was from Shein and is a cheap, flimsy item.
