A rollercoaster! But they did good in the end!
I am trying to get hold of Geek Swag to chase an order I made last week, but no response. It is frustrating. The number doesn't work, which is shocking!
I ordered a plush and sword for my son's birthday - which is next week.
I was excited to find the items, as they were very specific, but now am feeling like I have been conned. As nothing has come, no follow up communication, but my money has gone.
I am keen to support local, small businesses. It would be good to know what has happened to my order, before I explore my legal options.
EDIT: I got an email message from Adam saying that one item (the sword) was out of stock, but should be back and delivered next week. I will keep you posted.
UPDATE: Adam has assured me that the items are in, and on their way! Result. All being well, this review may have gone full circle...

Still not received my package after 16 days 🙃 sent an email and message on the website, no response. Had much better service in the past. Hopefully can be fixed soon! Happy to uprate if sorted. Edit: they left it under the bin with no note 😂😷 thanks. Re:edit for gods sake don’t use Hermes, they are terrible!!

My daughter paid for next day delivery - quite an expense. We ordered on Wednesday evening and it arrived on Monday - very disappointing as the item was a birthday present for a friend.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE - I bought a toy for my newborn daughter at the end of March, emailed in April when this was not received and have had no reply whatsoever. I have now reported this to my bank as a fraudulent transaction and they will be looking into it. So disappointing and feel annoyed at being ripped off.
UPDATE - they have replied to my message on here stating they would email, as I thought no email or refund received. This has now been passed to the police action fraud team for them to look into. BUYER BEWARE

Placed order on 21st April for items, I also placed an order the next day (22nd April) for 2 items, one which came fairly quickly and the other item is back order which I knew. The order on the 21st still hasn’t arrived, I have emailed them to get some sort of resolve, it then changed to dispatched last Tuesday (4th May) still no items. Have tried to contact them and I have been completely ignored. So then I decided to look them up to see if anyone else has had issues, and surprise surprise!! Feel a bit stupid now and I wish I’d read reviews before ordering which I usually do! They also don’t have any social media which is probably a red flag also. I will delete this if I get a proper resolve as all I was trying to do was support a small business in trying times but unfortunately I feel it may be someone taking advantage of online ordering.

Said items delivered 10th May, I have received nothing at all!!!!!!
Only item I have received from an order of 4 things was on the 26th April and it was 1 item.
Still nothing from them, now going to contact my bank and trading standards, have had enough.

Then zero communication.
The order is showing up as "processing" but should of been delivered last week.

It arrived, squashed into a small envelope and was of average quality. Not what I expect from a branded item.
I only received any communication when after I posted this review.
And then it was contradictory information about delivery dates.
First saying it will arrive "tomorrow", and then 2-3 days.
I would not recommend this store,

Feel like such an idiot. Wish I’d checked the reviews before ordering. Item hasn’t been despatched and nor has my email been answered. Will have to contact my bank to see how I can proceed with getting my money back, should nothing arrive.
Edit: Received a response from Adam very quickly after posting this review (what a surprise!). Seems that this is a company who will take your money despite not having the item in stock, nor will they inform you that it’s on back order at the time of ordering. In my case they were apparently switching warehouses, hence delays. It’s a basic courtesy to contact customers to explain their item won’t be despatched within 24hrs as stated on the website, and indeed that it may not be despatched for weeks, but this doesn’t happen. This is a very shady and unscrupulous way of doing business as far as I’m concerned and, although I received my order within just over two weeks, I suggest people steer well clear of Geekswag.
Edit 2: They also tried to flag this review as fraudulent (even though they know full well it isn’t) so I was only too happy to send verification to Trustpilot.

Think twice - Extremely poor service and very conflicting information regarding delivery & dispatch!
Placed order on 26 April, expected dispatch as advertised within 2-3 days via Hermes but have not received. Whilst advised on site that Covid could cause delays in orders arriving on time there is absolutely no reason why this should prevent a response to my polite email requesting an update on order. Equally, why state on your site ‘if order by 4pm item will be dispatched next day” if you have no intention of doing so? Your site showed that you had 10+ in stock at time of ordering so no reason as to why order status shouldn’t reflect the reason for the delays! Since posting, I received the following response from a GeekSwag representative Hey Maxine, The team were sad to see your review. We’ve been working hard to move all stock over to a new warehouse location where we can now offer an amazing 4:30pm cut-off time. Unfortunately there have been some issues getting things going and certain products have been delayed (though the vast majority are going out by this time. I can confirm your order will be delivered early week, we’re really sad and apologise Thanks Kind Regards, GeekSwag Support.
This led me to believe that they actually cared about disappointing a customer however I was forced to contact them yet again on the 05 May as I still had not received my item, this was the response - Hey Maxine,
We took the transition to a new fulfilment warehouse in the last week - they’re still catching up with our processes, however since the label has been generated you should receive it very soon :) I’ll chase it tomorrow
Thanks. I have just contacted you again as you have not updated me and I am very, very upset with being mislead and now fear that my item will not arrive at all! Totally unsurprised with the lack lustre approach to customer service as can be seen by the generic response they have just posted.

Had a little wait but got refund for the item out of stock, other items were great
I placed my order back in the middle of March for 3 items and 2 arrived quickly and were exactly as advertised. The 3rd has didn't arrive and after a bit of a wait I finally got through to customer services and they gave me a refund no problem. May be a little slow but service eventually was good and the items I did receive were great!

(Edit) Ordered a plants vs zombies plushie on the 9th, still not delivered. No contact from them after sent e-mails, says 2-3 days Hermes but I’ve seen my Hermes driver 3 times during that time for other deliveries, not sure if it is a scam but not happy and neither is my son who’s birthday has now passed!!!
- getting e-mailed to take this down or edit although I still have not had a refund, I will update when I get my refund. Had an e-mail Saturday (it’s now Thursday) claiming they had issued a refund but it’s on working day 4 and still no sign of refund. Will update when the money is back in my account.
EDIT: finally been refunded. Will avoid in future, advice for the company: don’t send e-mails claiming the item has been distpatched when it hasn’t.

Minecraft plushie
I ordered myself a minecraft plushie on the 6th of April and it is still processing, even though I went with Hermes 2-3 day shipping. Don't know if this is a scam but I want the plushie or my money back!
Edit - they finally got back to me and dispatched, wished they had a better communications service but I was glad to finally receive it.
